Passion for Promarkers Anniversary Challenge

Hey folks - it's a very special day for the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog - they've been running for 11 years and I think I've been on the team nearly that long!  It was my very first DT position so it has a very special place in my heart!

The challenge is to use Spots and/or Stripes on your make - just remember to use your Promarkers or other Letraset/Windsor and Newton product that is part of this range.

I decided to go with this fab image from Mo's Digital Pencil - Mummu's Nissu for my card - it seems so topical at the moment with everyone, including me, making our own bread as we have more time on our hands!  Luckily for me, my daughter has been able to get hold of Strong Flour and Yeast for her Pantry Staples business here in the UK, so I'm able ot get hold of supplies which are hard to find on the supermarket shelves!

I sort of feel that my card is a bit busy but sort of kind of like it too!    Full list of products used below.

Good Luck!

I absolutely love the playing card themed products out from Marianne this month - there's a set of four card stamps in each of the different suits.  As I wanted to make a good luck card though, I used the new confetti type die which gives you all the different suits and colours so I stamped each one in red then used the miniature die shapes to change the suit!  You could also do this if you wanted a Four of a Kind hand - stamp out two jacks in red and two in blue then use the die cuts to change the suit!     Great for males cards too! Anyway, full list of Marianne Goodies below!!

PFP In The Pink new Challenge

Hi there - it's Tuesday and the sun is out - hope you are able to enjoy a little of it wherever you are.  It's new challenge day at PFP HQ with a great In the Pink theme!  I've used one of our sponsor's quirky stamps - Clove Close and Gardens from JMC Designs!  Lots of pink promarker combos going on here!!

The papers are an old set from Bo Bunny, the stamped sentiment is from PTI and then I did a doodly Tickled Pink etc as it matches the image.

As I said, our sponsor is JMC Designs and you can see some more of their images that the the DT have used here.  We've had a lovely lot of entries the last few weeks - so hope you will also join in with this one!

Add A Sentiment PFP Challenge

Morning folks - another sunny day here in the Lakes - long may it last.

As it's a Tuesday, it's time for our new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and it's my turn to host the challenge.  I've chosen, hopefully, a nice easy theme of Add A Sentiment as most of us tend to add some sort of sentiment to our makes, right?  Just remember to use your Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Trias or Aquamarkers - lots of choice!!

I needed to make a Get Well Card for a dear friend suffering from that Virus, so this is it - thankfully, she is on the road to recovery at the minute.

The image is from Stamping Bella and the papers are Basic Grey.

The die cut snowdrops are from Marianne as are the looped border and the sentiments, details below

Snow Drop Die set - CR1490

Looped Border Die - CR1250

Sentiment stamps  from Mini Labels and Dies set -CS1029 -  so versatile!!

We're being sponsored by the fabulous Bugaboo Stamps who make some great images with fab and funny matching sentiments. They're offering the lucky winner a $12 voucher to spend in their digi store!!

My teamies have made some wonderful cards for the challenge this week, go check them out here at PFP HQ and leave them so love - I intend to when I have made my foray into town for our weekly shop!

Have a great week everyone and I look forward to seeing your makes!

Beautiful Weather

A very good morning blogland.  Despite all the trials and tribulations of 2020, the weather here in the Lake District has been wonderful and looks set to continue for  at least the next couple of weeks.  So my sentiment here is so appropriate.

My card uses Country Boy from Mo's  Digital Pencil - what a sweetie - and I love the expression on the chicken's face! I chose my colour scheme from these fabulous Crate Paper papers - Farmbouse and there are a few Marianne Products too - list  below!  I love the American Barn die set and this fabulous sentiment also from Marianne Designs.

Happy Easter from the PFP Challenge Blog

Hi folks

It's new challenge day over at PFP HQ with a fab theme, Easter, of course, chosen by our lovely Sue.  It's going to be a very different kind of Easter this year but we can all have a virtual Easter with lots of lovely cards and chocolate?

For my card, I've used this gorgeous stamp from Stamping Bella- fell in love with it at the Farnborough show back in February - seems like another life now.

The papers are from Fancy Pants, I think, and I've just let the image and the papers do the talking - no dies on this card today.

I also made a list of my Promarker choices for the main yellow and blue colours as below:

Yellows - Sleigh Bells, Gold, Mustard, Daffodil Bloom

Blues - Aegean, Cyan, Duck Egg, Cool Aqua,

Don't forget to check out the rest of Team One's  super makes here, and then come and play along.

Our generous sponsor this week is Cowling & Wilcox and they are offering one lucky winner a 3 pack of Neon Markers and I have added a Winsor & Newton superior bleedproof marker paper pad to the prize.

Hugs, Juliexx

Spring themed Challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenges

Can you believe it's the beginning of April already today - what a strange year it has been so far but we must do all what we must to keep well and all those around us safe and healthy.  Our online challenges and blogs are all so important to stay connected and we have a new challenge starting today over at Mo's DP2 Challenges with a fab easy theme of Spring.

My card uses an oldie image from Mo - Easter Carly - and she is due to be retired but is still in the shop at the minute so grab her while you can!!

Of course I used a few Marianne products too - including this stitched oval from a shaped card set, and also the frame which I made out of three small oval frames layered behind the image- great when you don't have the exact die to fit!  Also the sentiment is from a gorgeous new set from Marianne this year!  Details below.

Tolo from Mo's Digital Pencil - for Making Cards Magazine

This is the final of my cards made for Making Cards Magazine back in February - seems like another world!  This is Tolo from Mo's Digital Pencil and one of my all time favourite images from Mo.  My little granddaughter, Violet saw it when it was returned from it's photo shoot for the magazine and said she loved it so I kept it for her 4th birthday a couple of weeks ago and added her name and her age.  She's so excited to be 4 -missing her so much at the minute but had a little face time last night.  Mind you, all she wanted to do was speak to her Aunty Em who has come home for the duration.

The papers are Introspection from Prima and the sentiment is from the Kaisercraft You set.

I hope your keeping well and safe at the minute.

Hugs, Juliexx
