Passion for Promarkers - New Digital Challenge

It's my kind of challenge starting today at Passion for Promarkers- Make It Digital, so use a digi image/sentiment somewhere on your card. Great theme Marie!  Well you know I'm a huge fan of Mo'sDigital Pencil so of course picked this image, Kate, from Mo's vast catalogue and which is getting bigger daily!!
I coloured her to match these pretty papers from Lili of the Valley Nitwit papers and used the following dies from Marianne Designs:

Petra's Beautiful Border die - LR0407
Tiny's Lily Die - CR1306
Spikey flowers - LR0229
Lace Border - LR0385
My sentiment is also LOTV and all the other bits are from stash.
Our generous sponsor this week is Di’s Digi Stamps who are offering one lucky winner a prize of a $12.00 voucher to spend in her online store.

Don't forget to check our my teamies' fab makes here and then come and join in our challenge!

August Blog hop time folks!

I love it when the third Thursday of the month comes around as it means it's Blog Hop time with Mo's Dream Team and we have a great theme of Winter in August chosen by our lovely Gretha, and this is where you should also have started to hop.
When I saw this gorgeous image from Mo, Tilli-Gnome, I couldn't wait to get my DT package from Marianne Designs as I knew she would team up with this fabulous Mushroom Home die that is new this month.  My full list of Marianne products are below:
Mushroom  House- COL1412
Tiny's Oak Trees- CR2338
Papers - Driftwood, Wintertime and Silver Stars

The sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink.

Right now it's time to send you on to the blog of my fab teamie, Gaynor, who will have a treat for you I'm sure.  And, don't forget to leave a comment on each of the blogs that you visit as you could win one of two $5 dollar vouchers to spend in Mo's online store!

Vintage wedding

I made this wedding card for the daughter of one of  my oldest and dearest friends, who got married at the weekend.  We weren't able to make it to the evening celebrations but I'm sure their day was wonderful.
I used papers from Scrap and Craft for the vintage style and cut out the gothic stained glass window with a Memory Box die, and used the off cut to stamp my sentiment from Inkylicious. I made the little frame below using some Cloud  Air clay so it's nice and light and the tassels were made with a Marianne die - Tassel Fringe Die set LR0391.

Oha and I made a box to match with a Paper Trey Ink stamp for the sentiment and a Martha Stewart Punch Round the Page set for the border.
There are lots of bits and pieces from stash too, including some bits of vintage lace, a Memory Box rose corner die, , peals and muslin.

Thanks for stopping in peeps!

Male Happy Birthday

The only thing I like about making cards for men is that they can be fairly CAS, otherwise not so much!  I love this Woodware sentiment but wondered what to team it with then remembered this knight stamp which I've had for many years and thought it would be perfect!  The papers were from the US and the round accents were from the same stamp set as the knight.  The little wooden knight was a craft fair purchase.  Finally, I've used two Marianne dies:

Stitched Circle Die- CR1360
Stitched Clouds and Waves border die set- CR1361

That's it for now folks,
Happy Weekend!

Passion For Promarkers Hip to be Square

If it's Tuesday  it means that it's time for a new challenge at PFP HQ, with a great  easy peasy theme of  It's Hip to Be Square.
I coloured up this gorgeous new digi image, Sunflower Baby, from the fabulous Mo Manning, she's on fire at the minute, with new images arriving almost daily at Mo's Digital Pencil .......and they're often half price for 24 hours so keep checking in the store!! I teamed her up with some Marianne Design papers and the following dies:
Basic Distressed Square dies set:  CR1375 - new!
Tiny's Sunflower Die- LR0361
Label XL and Label XS die set - CR1353
Papers - A5 Pretty Paper Bloc - Eline's Silver Stars

Well that's all from me for now and all I need to do now is send you over to the PFP Challenge blog to check out the makes of my fabbie teamies. And of course, not forgetting our sponsor for this challenge, Letraset, which will be a wonderful prize, I just know!

Wuthering for the new monthly challenge starting today at DP2

It's time for a new monthly challenge today at  DP2 Challenge, as always with an Anything Goes theme.  I just love, love, love this new image from Mo called Wuthering (just click on the name to take you to her in Mo's store), and of course the homage is to Cathy.  However, she also reminds me of when Kiera Knightly stands on Stanage Edge in the Peak District in the 2005 film version of Pride and Prejudice.  (This also happens to be just about my all-time favourite film!)

I used one of my bigger Go Kreate dies to make my card base and mat - so much easier now I have the big Big Shot!  There's also a few Marianne Dies for the ferns and flourish:

LR0403- Tiny's Ferns
LR0271- Anja Vintage Swirls

Winners prize: a $5.00 voucher for Mo's online store.

Remember to follow Mo's Challenge Rules ...
use at least one Mo Manning image...
NEW creations only! (No back linking)...
And, please, only ONE entry per person!

You can check out the gorgeous makes of the rest of Mo's Dream Team here!
