Naming Day Card

I can't believe that it's already a week since we were down south for some family dos, including a naming day for our niece Charlotte's gorgeous Benjamin -  this is the card I made using Jessie from Mo's Digital Pencil.
Loving those big doleful eyes!  Of course it wouldn't be complete without a few Marianne dies thrown in - details below!  I love the bear die, although how I've highlighted his eyes make him look a bit evil!!

Marianne Dies
Bear Die - LR0465
Balloons - COL1378
Heart Shaped Balloon - Limited Edition Let's Party

Oh and the papers are Graphic 45.

I'm doing my first winter fair next weekend so I'm mad busy trying to build up stock - I barely slept on Thursday night, I've been feeling so anxious about not having enough stock to cover the two days!    I'm hoping to just go hell for leather (and I have been) over the next few days.  My house is a tip but it will have to wait!!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

PFP new challenge Halloween/Halloween colours

Morning - our new challenge starts today over at Passion for Promarkers with a great theme of Halloween or Halloween colours.  My card sort of falls in between as they're Halloween images/colours but my card is actually a wedding card!
It's for my niece who got married over the weekend and the wedding was fancy dress!! I hope to have some photos to share soon!  Both images are from the fabulous Mo of Mo's Digital Pencil and Dark Lady is a new release here.  Teamed with Come Hither here it made for a perfect Wedding card for my niece.
It didn't need much embellishing once I'd used this fabulous lattice frame from Marianne Designs, deets below.

Lattice Dies and Sentiment shape from Large Anja's Ovals - LR0236

Just a big, fancy bow and rose embellishment to match the rose she's holding and done!

We're being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps this week with a spooktacular $12 voucher going to the lucky winner of our challenge.  So come along and play to be in with a chance of winning!!

Marianne Layering Squirrel stamp

This has been a card in the making for weeks on my "desk"!  It just kept getting pushed aside and covered over with other stuff!  Finally managed to finish it  before Autumn finishes and Winter rolls in!
The image is fabulous layering stamp from Marianne designs, details below along with all the other Marianne goodies that I've used.

Squirrel Layered Stamp - TC0856
Label from Basic Shapes Big Label Die set -C1353
Window Die - CR1286
Acorn and Oak Leaves Die Set - LR0373
Rake Die - LR0374
Broom Die - LR0433
Leaves Die - CR1336/LR0430

I especially love this acorn and leaves die set!

The sentiment is by PaperTrey Ink - I have to use it whenever I use a squirrel image - it's the law!!

Right, got a write up to do now!

Sympathy Card

I hate having to make sympathy cards - it's always such a sad time.  This one was made a little easier because  of these free papers from Making Cards Magazine - I knew they would be perfect with this Lavinia stamp and the fairy theme was a fitting tribute for the family who had lost their loved one.
The sentiment is also one that came from a set from Making Cards Magazine - I absolutely love them - you have your traditional sentiments but there are also less formal phrases too.

We're in the middle of a power cut at the minute that started last night - so we're at Holly's having a cuppa and recharging all our devices!!

Birthday Card

It was my Sister-in-law's 60th birthday yesterday ( you would never believe it if you saw her!) and this is the card I made for her using this fantastic Bohemian image by Emily Louella at Crafts and Me - click here to take you to the image at Crafts and Me.
She's so great to colour as the detail in the drawing is fabulous with all the shade and light done for you.
You may have noticed that my main picture doesn't have  a sentiment on - I decided it needed one at the last minute and this one is just perfect for my artist SIL.  I can't remember who it's by - from a birthday set I bought years ago but no labels remain!!
My Marianne goodies have been out in force too as below:

Bow border die - LR0464
Butterfly pearls- CA3116
Frame Die - LR0405
Circle Slot Edge Die - LR0483

Everything else from stash.

You'll be pleased to know I've finished that darned tax return, so now working on hard on building up my stock for a Christmas Fair I'm doing!

Embossing Challenge at Passion for Promarkers

I've been missing in action for a while as we've just been on a great trip to Rome!  It was wonderful - the place, the weather, just great.  Have missed my crafting (although I did take my pens) so managed to get into my craft room yesterday to get this card made for today's challenge starting at Passion for Promarkers.  We have a theme of embossing, either heat or dry) and I've gone for both! There's a star embossed panel behind the image and heat embossed star sparkles! The image is called Frost from Mo's Digital Pencil- a must have in my opinion!

As you can see, I've not used any DPs - but she just didn't need it.  The stars, embossing folder and sentiment stamp and starburst stamp  are all Marianne Designs, details below:

Sparkle sentiment stamp and star burst stamp - KJ1704
Star Embossing folder, star border and mini stars die - DF3427
Large Star - COL1442 (New!
Don't forget to check out the makes of my teamies here and then get your  stash out  and join in the challenge!  We have a great sponsor - Uniko- who are offering the lucky winner a stamp set!
