This may be the last card I post this side of Christmas and it's for your midway reminder for the month long Mega Challenge that we hold at Passion for Promarkers at this time of year.   It's a bumper challenge with an Anything Goes theme with a list of prizes from our sponsors that just seems to go on and on!!

I've used Miles in Winter for my card ( need I say from Mo's Digital Pencil!) with a full list of Marianne goodies again (below).

Mo's Tot with Presents

I do love this little cutie from Mo's Digital Pencil - Tot with Presents.   And you get the sentiment too!
I've kept it fairly simple with just a Poinsettia Die from Marianne Designs - CR1478 - and a sledge which I think is from Joy crafts.

Busy day today, getting ready for our Em's homecoming tomorrow - - it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!

Marianne Designs Christmas Silhouette stamps

I've made a few cards this year using this fabulous  silhouette stamp set from Marianne Designs (CS1039).

I make batches of the backgrounds with Distress Oxides never really knowing what you're gonna get, and sometimes they look a bit messy but then you stamp them and you get lovely scenes with that look so pretty!  I admit though, I think I may have a been a bit heavy-handed with the snow on some of them!!

We're just about getting there for Christmas - Em comes home on Sunday and then we will be in full celebration mode!!

Little Match Girl

I just adore this new image from Mo's Digital Pencil -  Match Girl - our family was such a fan of this film  when the children were all younger!

She does come with a fabulous sentiment too but I felt this was is better for the recipient I have in mind!

The  Double Stitched Oval Die (CR1467) is from Marianne Designs, along with the Candle Bridge Die (CR1427).

It's quite icy here today and we've had hailstones too, so it's quite apt today - keep warm peeps!

Craft Creations Journals

Did you catch Jak Heath demonstrating decorating these new MDF journals from  Craft Creations on Create and Craft yesterday?  I made these two samples for the show and was thrilled to see them featured on the show (just been watching on catch up).  Proper cheered me up for two reasons  - 1 - I've just had to get more antibiotics for a chest infection, and B - I really didn't feel I'd done them justice, especially when I saw the work from my teamies!  Now I am honestly not saying that to invite praise, but  genuinely felt a bit disappointed with my samples!  However, I was ok with that as it's the first time I'd done any journalling, so knew it was a learning curve - like being able to take the covers off and decorate the covers and pages separately!!

That probably would have helped with  using the front cover as a stencil for these inside pages and made them a little less messy (although I was ok with that too!).

Lovely to try new skills and techniques and they really are a wonderful range of journals to choose from!

Gonna put my feet up now, didn't even feel well enough to go and see Violet in her Nativity, although there was a strong chance she wouldn't want to take part!  I'll see it on film though I'm sure.  Proper windy here too today, so not a day to be out and about!
