Cupcakes anyone?

I've made a card with a starburst frame before but I cut it out by hand, so I was so pleased when Marianne Designs brought out a die - makes it so much easier.  And this little cutie, Queen of the Kitchen, is a new image from Mo's Digital Pencil - and you still have two days to get 15% in the store!!

The papers are from Maja Design - Life in the Country and the sentiment is from a very old Krafting Kimmie set.  A full list of the Marianne Dies I used are below.  FYI, there are only two utensils in the set but I cut them out twice and then used two of the die-cuts upside down to vary the shapes!!

Marianne Products Used

Starburst Frame Die - CR1423
Jug - CR1449
Tag -CR1510

It's gonna be hot, hot, hot today so it might just be a BBQ tonight!!

Enjoy your day!

Inky fingers!!

This is my card for my daughter's partner, who celebrated his 30th birthday this year (one of a number in our family!).  Happy Birthday Jack - present when we see you!!

I've used a Marianne Design Leaf Stencil for the background - PS8041.  The  main Dragonfly stamp is Visible Image and the smaller one, bee and flying geese are from Lavinia Stamps.  The tree top stamp and birds are Inkylicsous.

The little phrases are from Tim Holtz.

That's it for today - I'm recovering from a major walk yesterday- so shattered but did add two Wainrights to my count - 95/214!!  Need to get much fitter to carry on!

Have a good day!!

Rock Chick or Little Punk!

This is Little Punk  or Rock Chick as I've titled her from Mo's Digital Pencil!  Love her sass!  And you still have a few days left of July to get 15% of Mo's fabulous images, including some hot off the press new ones!!

I coloured her with my Promarkers then fussy cut her out,  and leaned her against the guitar die cut!   I used a new Marianne Stencil to  create the spotty background which rather suits her grungy feel.

Marianne Products Used

Guitar Die - LR0657
Cheetah Stencil - PS8069
Letters Die - CR1513
Music Flourish Die - CR1506

Painting Stones

We had Violet over to play at the weekend  and I thought I'd let her loose with my Posca Pens - I know, right!  However, she was so good and she knew that they were some of Nanny's special pens  and I think she painted about a dozen stones to my one!!  The one above is mine (hope you realised that !!).  Last year, in the good old days, I had a fab weekend with my M&S girlies down in Deal, Kent and one of the girls picked this stone off the beach - I saw the little cottage relief in the stone right away - so Sally very kindly let me bring it home!   My painting is a little crude but I have to say I do love it!!

When Violet was leaving, my stone was the one she wanted to  take home but I managed to persuade her to take her banana stone (which was shaped like a banana and painted yellow!), the portrait she did of  me and a few others but the two below are the ones she left, including her self-portrait which I think is so gorgeous!!

I can see her wanting to use them more often -- eek!!

Happy Days!

Ocean Colour Scene!

Managed to have a little play with these new Coral stamps from Marianne this afternoon!  I absolutely love them, especially the stamp that looks like a fin- I feel it's a mermaid swimming just out of sight!  They stamp beautifully too.  The only stamp that isn't from the  Coral set are the fishes which are from another Marianne set, all details below.
I made a background using Marianne's new Zebra stencil with Distress Oxides then spritzed it with water to blur the edges a little.  I've then stamped in a variety of  colours of Versaclair stamps.    I've added some highlights with white pen and then some glitter with  a Wink of Stellar clear glitter pen.
Finally added the sentiment using a Marianne die and stamp.

Sneaky Peeks Mo's Digital Pencil

Morning people!  Sorry I'm so late posting my card today - life has been a bit hectic as we've opened our holiday let and the new cleaning protocols for Covid are well, let's say it's like cleaning it twice!  But we want everyone to be safe, both us and our guests.

Anyhoo, this little cutie is a new image from Mo's Digital Pencil- in fact so new that she isn't in the shop yet and doesn't even have a name!  I'm calling her Violet for now as she is the spit of my granddaughter with those curls - and jewellry.  I sorted out some of my costume jewellery recently and she kept most of it and she's only 4!  They do love a bit of bling and dress up at that age.

I've used scrap papers from my 'purple' drawer and no dies whatsoever!!

I bet you can't wait for this little cutie to be in the shop, oh and before you go, here's an extra sneak peek at another image which I've yet to make into a card.

Oh I spoil you!!

Have a great weekend!

Passion for Promarkers - Orange is the new Challenge!

It's my turn to choose the theme for the new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and I've gone with a colour challenge of Orange.  Not previously a favourite colour of mine but I am loving Oranges and Yellows at the minute! It doesn't have to be  a lot of orange - just an accent or as much as you like!!

I've used our sponsor image - Colour of Love Stamps -  of Wildflowers, so pretty!

I've also listed the Promarker pens that I used for the main elements of my card, if you might find that helpful.

My Orange (and yellow) combinations: - Burnt Orange, Orange, Mandarin, Oatmeal
                                     -  Coral, Tequilla Sunrise, Oatmeal, Blush
                                         - Raw Sienna, Sleigh Bells, Gold, Mustard

Pussywillows - new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil challenge blog

Morning - think we need a bit of yellow in our lives to overcome the rain we've had for the last couple of days!
So, this is Pussywillows from Mo's Digital Pencil for the new challenge today on Mo's challenge blog here.  The theme is Birthdays  which as always, is optional  - just make sure you use a Mo image of course!
I think Pussywillows must be up there with my favouritest of Mo images!

The papers are Dovecraft, and the gorgeous dies are from the Wildflowers sets 1 and 2 from the Tim Holtz range for Sizzix.  The corner honeycomb cut out die is also from the Tim Holtz range. Of course, it wouldn't be complete without a Marianne Die or two, as follows!

Marianne Dies Used

Lace circle Die - CR1474
Text Banner Die  COL144
Butterfly - LR0356

Hope you can come and join in the challenge and don't forget to share your cards in the Bella and Bronte group on Facebook.

Lavinia Stamps for a change

I'd like to find more time to play with my Lavinia and silhouette stamps at the minute but it just isn't happening!  This one is a fairly simple card I made recently though that didn't take too long.  I do love all the makes that I see in social medialand  so hopefully, I'll get some more time soon!!  The stamps I used are as follows:

Luna Lights
Fairy Bells
Mini Toadstools
Pipin

The sentiment is from an old set that I have lost the packaging for!

Thanks for  popping in!
