Flowers for you

This little sweetie is Flowers 4 U from Mo's Digital Pencil - and I had a hankering to make a blue card so here she is! Pop on over to Mo's Online store here to find her.

I used an all time favourite die from Marianne Designs to cut her out and then teamed it up with this wonderful half-circle doily set which came out last month.  So pretty!  Details below.

I'm feeling a bit pooped as we did a walk into town this morning - it's about an hour downhill on the way, and it was beautiful but a bit more of struggle coming back!

Anything Goes at a Passion for Markers

It's new challenge day at Passion for Markers and we having an Anything Goes week!  Always a favourite and now you can use all sorts of markers, I'm sure we'll have lots of entries.

I've made my card using a stunning new image from Tracy Easson here on Etsy.  This image is the fabulous Lalliana Twinkle Toes!  Love the names and the back stories that Tracy creates around her image and they come so beautifully packaged with love and care.

You also get the little sentiment stamps in the set and they perfectly accent Lalliana.  The papers are a mix of Nitwit and Maja and the basket is an oldie but  a goldie from Marianne Designs (CR1209).  I then just added a little bit of vintage lace to finish off.

Cupcakes anyone?

I've made a card with a starburst frame before but I cut it out by hand, so I was so pleased when Marianne Designs brought out a die - makes it so much easier.  And this little cutie, Queen of the Kitchen, is a new image from Mo's Digital Pencil - and you still have two days to get 15% in the store!!

The papers are from Maja Design - Life in the Country and the sentiment is from a very old Krafting Kimmie set.  A full list of the Marianne Dies I used are below.  FYI, there are only two utensils in the set but I cut them out twice and then used two of the die-cuts upside down to vary the shapes!!

Mo's Digital Pencil Roses in Vase

No reason or person in mind for today's card - I just fancied colouring this beautiful bouquet of roses - appropriately enough called Roses in Vase from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Luckily I found the perfect, matching set of papers after I'd coloured it in!! They're Enjoying Outdoors from Maja Designs.  There's also a little list of Marianne Products used, details below.

Mummu in Summer- and a Happy Birthday to Me!!

Hi peeps!

It's my birthday today and I've decided that this is going to be me from now on - getting to look like this more and more!  Following on from my Mummu image making bread, this is Mummu in Summer- beauty isn't she!  She's here over on Mo's Digital Pencil.  The weather has been so fantastic here that we were able to go swimming in one of our beautiful lakes up here the other day and I dipped more than my toes I can tell you!

Appropriately, the papers are from Maja Designs and are called Enjoying the Day and the frame and lavender sprigs are a die set from Marianne Designs - catalogue no: LR0647 - New out in March of this year.

Going to enjoy the weather today and have a BBQ , and I'll be serving Pimms!!

Mo Ballet Practice Girl

I'm a real ballet fan and did quite a lot when I was much, much younger - but not now!!  However,  I love this image, Ballet Practice,  from Mo's Digital Pencil, it's so elegant!   She's just perfect too for the new challenge starting today at Mo's DP2 challenges where the theme is always Anything Goes but we also have an optional theme of  For The Girls and she is just perfect for that!  

I've added some Shabby White Frantage to the wooden ballet dancer and corner flourish, and the papers are Maja Designs.  And of course a few Marianne dies have sneaked in there!

Have a great bank holiday weekend everyone, I think I'm going to be transplanting some shrubs and perenniels to try and get our garden under control - it's just  never ending especially at this time of year!

Making Cards Magazine image

Did you see this lovely stamp set from Making Cards Magazine a month or so ago- such cute images and I  love this for the reader in your family!

The papers are Maja design and were an absolute bargain at Make- It Farnborough in February!!  I snagged about 5 sets for £10 - need them like a hole in the head but they were Maja!!

The hexagonal frame is Marianne from their Craftables range - CR1444, is the catalogue number,  and the sentiments are a mix of PTI and umm something else.  I'd go and look but I have a dreadful  cold and don't feel like doing much of anything!!

Might manage to venture into my craft room later but it needs a tidy so I just don't know!!
