PFM - Something beginning with B

Love this nice and easy theme at Passion for Markers this month - something beginning with B - so it could be a birthday, the colour Blue or a boat as I have used (and birds).  Oh, and we're being sponsored by Bugaboo stamps this week - so another B right there!

I've actually used a  stamp from a new favourite artist of mine - Tracey Easson Illustrations.  Love this image so much - in 2019 we had the most fantastic holiday touring the North Coast 500 route in Scotland and the image reminds of that wonderful few days.  I've used lots of Marianne products too to enhance the theme- all details below.

Products Used

Tracey Easson Illustrations - The Guid Life stamp set including sentiments
Graphic 45 papers - By the Sea
Copics

Marianne Products Used

Telescope  - CR1511
Fishing Net  - CR1409
Birds - CR1279/LR 0596
Rope Coil - CR1405

Can you spot Nessie through the telescope - we didn't manage to catch sight of him on our trip - next time!

As I said, our generous sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps and they are offering one lucky winner a $12.00 voucher to spend in their online store.  Most of the DT have used images from Bugaboo on their creations this week, so don't forget to check them out here.

Couldn't wait to use this fabulous new Wishing Well Die set from Marianne Designs - new this month!  Little Tilli  Gnome from Mo's Digital Pencil looks suitably dreamy with her thoughts far away as she sits next to it looking at the tree blossom!  Before adding the die cut branch I inked through the new blossom stencil just to create a bit of extra depth.  Full list of Marianne products used below.

Nearly the weekend folks - I've been proper poorly this week, not sure if it's been a delayed reaction to my first Covid jab.  Felt fine for the first week, then second week - euggh!  But, I feel so blessed to have been given the vaccine.

It has meant I've had a lazy week so not all bad!!

Lavinia Moon Pods

A recent card I made using Lavinia Stamps  Moon Pods and one of their sentiment stamps too.  I coloured the moon pods with some Promarkers and Posca Pens.

Nice and simple!

Door Hanger Just a Girl

I made this door hanger for our grand-daughter Violet who was 5 yesterday.  Just can't believe where the years have gone - she is such a treasure, as all grandparents feel about their grandchildren I'm sure!

The image is from Tracy Easson Just a Girl range and matches the birthday card that I've already shared earlier this year but here's another peek  if you're interested.

For the plaque, I used Prisma pencils as I like the effect you get with them colouring on wood.

That's all from me for now, hoping to spend some time in my craft room today.  Enjoy your day.

We're Happy at Passion for Markers

Morning folks, it's Tuesday, so it's time for our new challenge at Passion for Markers. And, it's my turn to host the challenge, so I've chosen a really easy theme of Happy!

We're being sponsored by the Paper Shelter this week, so we've been lucky enough to use one of their images - so interesting to see all the different makes by my teamies.  She is the gorgeous Trekking Girl and was perfect for a friend of mine's birthday up here in The Lake District as she loves her walking.
I've used Autumn Whispers Papers from American Crafts and coloured with a mix of Copics and Promarkers.  The sentiment is Lili of the Valley and the scalloped border die  is from Marianne set LR0637.

As mentioned, we are being sponsored by The The Paper Shelter and they are offering one lucky winner 3 digi images of their choice from their online store.

Check out the fab makes of my teamies here and then come and show us your Happy!!

Happy Tuesday!!

ATC swap Tracy Easson Illustrations

I took part in my first ATC swap recently with Tracy Easson Illustrations fans - which I am newly converted to!! The ATC is on the left using Just a Girl  and I made a little co-ordinating card using Morty.  Loved making little miniature pieces! You can find Tracy's stamps here in her Etsy shop.

I've coloured in alcohol markers and then added some embossed stars in Pirate Gold.  I've edged both pieces with a Promarker Antique Gold metallic marker which I rather like the effect of.

Have a great Tuesday, folks!

Wonky Tonk Girls

It's rather cold and overcast here today, so I've spent the afternoon colouring this gorgeous image by Tracy Easson for Which Crafts Day - this little beauty is Day Dreamer - love these images so much.  You can see them all here at Which Craft and you can be certain of great service from them too!

I've coloured with my favourite blue combo in Copics - B28, B26 and FB2 with a little B29 for shadow at the end.

Have a great weekend, everyone - we're nearly there!

A Jar of Wild Flowers - nothing quite like it, I think.

Hi there.  Well this card turned out quite different than what I expected but sometimes you just have to go where the process takes you.

I started off with this  Flower Jar  digi stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil and coloured it with a mix of Copics and Promarkers.  I also wanted to use the new leafy arch die set from Marianne Designs - I cut stuff out in all sorts of colours but kept going back to this layout.  The image was too big to be framed by the arch so I picked out this pretty circle set.  I then decided to cut the arch in half and then place something in the middle to tie the two halves together but couldn't find anything in my collection that I liked!  ( I know right - ridiculous!!). I then thought to cut the arch out again and layer the central part to layer over the top and I really like the effect!!

I then mirrored the flowers in the jar using one of Marianne's fabulous wildflower die sets ( a real favourite of mine) and also tucked in a few lavender sprigs behind the circle frame.  All details of the Marianne products used are below.

Marianne Products Used

Leafy Arch/Gate/Fence Die set  -  CR1536 - NEW!
Papers - Eline's Honeymoon - PB7060 - NEW!
Wildflower Die set - CR1516
Round Lacy Die Set with Rope Bow - CR1414
Lavender Sprig Die - from LR0647

Finally  I did a bit  of inking around scuffed edges and through the dies.

It's rather  a wet and miserable day here - so might get in my room later.

Enjoy your day - thanks for popping in.

Going round in Circles at Passion for Markers

Hi folks - hope everyone is staying safe and well.  This is my card for the new challenge that starts today on Passion for Markers - our Sue has chosen a great theme of Circles.  I've got them on my papers and of course this little lovely's lollipop!  This is Mona, by the way, from Mo's Digital Pencil.

I love her little shoes - I've glossy-accented them to look like red-patent!

These pretty papers are from Pink Paislee - Fancy Free, the stitched frame die is from MFT and the flowers are from Marianne Designs - a stamp and die combo, COL1394.

Our generous sponsor this week is  Dr Digi's House of Stamps who are offering the lucky winner two digi stamps.

Looking forward to seeing what you create!
