ATC swap Tracy Easson Illustrations

I took part in my first ATC swap recently with Tracy Easson Illustrations fans - which I am newly converted to!! The ATC is on the left using Just a Girl  and I made a little co-ordinating card using Morty.  Loved making little miniature pieces! You can find Tracy's stamps here in her Etsy shop.

I've coloured in alcohol markers and then added some embossed stars in Pirate Gold.  I've edged both pieces with a Promarker Antique Gold metallic marker which I rather like the effect of.

Have a great Tuesday, folks!

Father Xmas Gnome

I couldn't resist doing another wintery sky scene with Mo's Digital Pencil Christmas Gnomes.  This one is a merge of Father Christmas Gnome with his presents, and one of the Gnome Trees.

I've coloured with a mix of Promarkers and Copics  and there's also some Wink of Stella on the stars and tree berries but not picked up too well here. I created the snow by banging a White Posca pen with a ruler - so technical!!  The sentiment is a an old Cat's Life Press stamp which I still love!
I'm going to try and sort out some Christmas cards and paper for Holly's shop today- it's raining again, surprise, surprise, so other than housework, (sorry for swearing!) there's not a lot else to do!

Enjoy your Saturday!

Twinkly Christmas

When I was visiting crafty friend and besty, Lesley, back in August, she bought this gorgeous frame die and let me cut a few  from it!  All it really needed was a background which I made with distress oxides and then added some Shabby White Frantage and a sentiment/tag (Marianne Happy Holidays sentiments CS1009) and I was done. Oh and I edged the frame with my Red Gold metallic Promarker for a bit of bling!  Nice and quickish set of Christmas cards made.  Just wish I could remember who the die is by!!

A Beautiful Deer stamp from Chloe Stamps

I have fallen in love with this deer stamp from Chloe's Stamps and am rather pleased with how the card turned out which isn't too often I can tell you (I'm my harshest critic!)

I thought I'd also list the Promarker combo I used for a change as I'm rather bad at that.
For the image I used, Shale, Tawny Owl, Budding Rose, Tan, March Hare and Morning Mist.
For the dusky background I used, Midnight Blue, Twilight Sky, Hearth Stone, Grey Green and a little April Shower.
I've then used my blender pen to take out a little colour in places to give that slightly dappled look that I feel deers have!!

I've cut the image out already coloured using this beautiful frame die from Marianne, added the Holly leaves and some frantage!  The sentiment comes with the image which is lovely too and stamps beautifully,.

Marianne Products Used

Rectangular Frame Die - LR0351
Holly Leaves Die - CR1343

The weekend is nearly here so have a good one!

PFP Bright Colours

Hi blogland - we're set for another scorcher today here in The Lakes and I hope to get a bit of gardening done - although I won't look quite as chic - my wellies are black and I always end up looking as if I've been dragged through a hedge backwards!!

Anyhoo, we have a new challenge starting today over at Passion for Promarkers with a fab theme of bright colours as chosen by our lovely Hazel.  I've used this gorgeous image from Mo's Digital Pencil - Best of The Bunch.  And, for a change I've also noted the colours I've used as it can be helpful!
For skin, I always use Cinnamon, Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush and Ivory - I start all over with the Ivory and then start with the darkest areas  using Coral down to Ivory again.  Finally I add a little depth with the Cinnamon for the most shade and go down through the spectrum again.

For her pink boots, hat and tulips, I used  Shale, Maroon, Cardinal Red, Magenta, Cerise and Pink Carnation.

For her dungarees, I used Petrol, Marine, Turquoise, Mint Green and Pastel Green.
For the leaves and grass I used Pine, Forest Green, Bright Green and Meadow Green,

No picture of the pens but for the stone bench I used the Cool Grey set of pens, and sorry didn't note the dog and hair pens I used -  doh!
Of course, there's always a Marianne Die in the mix and the large Frame is that Die - LR0234.
The pretty pink design paper is also Marianne - Fleurique PK9135
We have a  great  sponsor for this challenge - Bugaboo Stamps - and the lucky winner will receive a $12 dollar voucher to spend in their store.

Bugaboo

Now, don't forget to check out the makes of all the DT here  and then grab your Promarkers and play along!!

Yes, it's our new monthly challenge starting today at Mo's Digital Pencil Too.  It's always Anything Goes, just a chance for you to share your gorgeous makes with a Mo image - too many to choose from, too little time!!
I've chosen this gorgeous new image called Dolly from Mo, and coloured her with my Promarkers, and teamed her up with lots of Marianne loveliness as below:

Corner Die - Anja's Rose Corner - LR0214
Vine - NEW release - CR1396

Mo's Beary Sick

This card is for all you poorly peeps  out there - lots of  people with winter colds and other nasty, germy things!  The image and sentiment are both from Mo's Digital Pencil and this is the male version of Beary Sick,.  You can also get a female version here.
My papers are from a pad that has been in my stash an age  - I can't remember who  they're by, sorry!
The little sentiment is from Stampin Up, and the ribbon and other bits are from my stash.
And shock, horror, I have found time to look around at some sketches and I used the current one over at Sketch Saturday below:

Passion for Promarkers - Sketch

It's time for our new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and this week we have a sketch as drawm by our Lou - this challenge's hostess with the mostest!
I've used this brilliant Snowman image from Mo Manning. I must confess that he was lovely and easy, and quick, to colour with my Promarkers, which was just as well, as I almost didn't have time to make my card!  The panic season has set in for me!!
I teamed him up with some snowflake cardstock, and a couple of Memory Box dies and a Cat's Life Press sentiment.

And more gorgeously rusted jingle bells from The Ribbon Girl to finish off.
This week, our sponsor is Whiff of Joy and the winner of our challenge could win a lovely stamp from their range.

Do check out the makes of my PFP teamies here - they are fabulous, and it's a nice, easy sketch so come and play along with us!

Mo Manning - A Sister Is

Just popping up a card made with one of Mo Manning's latest digi images - A Sister Is....
Such a gorgeous image, don't you think! And it comes with a lovely sentiment about sisters too!
I've coloured the image with Promarkers and used Stampin Up papers for my matting and layering.
The flower die-cuts are Bluebells from Marianne Designs, flowers from stash and the sentiment is a Stampin Up stamp and punch combo.

Just a flying visit from me, busy, busy, busy at work - roll on the end of the month when I have two weeks off!

Fan's Cricket - Mo Manning

I have a yen at the minute to make cards using oriental images and this is the one that I have made first - using Mo's Fan's Cricket which you can find by clicking here! Doesn't she have the most darling little face!
I've coloured her with my Pro and Flex Markers. and cut out the image using a Spellbinder Majestic rectangle die.  Of course, I had to use my little Memory Box cage die - it's identical to the one in Mo's image.
I've made some rolled  flowers using papers from the same pad as my backing papers - My Mind's Eye Honey Cake papers.  There's also a little dragon fly charm hanging from the ribbon tie but my pic hasn't picked it up!  The little heart on a stem die cut came with a selection of die cuts, as a little gift when I made an order with Tracey at Dies to Dies For - I do love little touches like that!!

Friday today - whoop, whoop!!  Ally Pally on Sunday!!!
