A bit of gardening.

Hi there.  This is Lottie Land Girl from Wonky Tonk stamps by Tracy Easson - isn't she just the prettiest!  And I love the accent stamps such as the shelf behind her which I added by masking of the main image.  She's coloured with Copics and teamed up with some pretty My Mind's Eye papers.  The little spade is a new die from Marianne Designs - CR1541.  The sentiment tags are cut with a Stampin Up punch and the Happy Birthday sentiment is from PTI.

I don't know about you but  I get very inky fingers when crafting and I am not a tidy crafter, so ended up getting ink smudges on my coloured image panel.  So I had to place the sentiment and the spade over them to cover up but I think I got away with it!!

Might actually do a bit of gardening this afternoon - if it stays dry!

Have a good week!

The Spring Fling ATC

I took part in another ATC swap over on Tracy Easson group on Face Book.  It's such a lovely thing to do and to see others creations of these gorgeous images.  I've used  The Guid Wife from  The Clan McTavish range.  I decided to paper piece her outfit with some tartan papers which was a little fiddly with the collar and the patches but thought wifey looked so resplendent in her outfit that she needed to be going somewhere, hence the name.

I also made a little card to go with my ATC  using some stamps from the Star Gazer rangers - lots of the littler stamps that I often forget to use.

My swap partner was Anne Richardson from Tracy's Design Team and I've added her gorgeous makes for me below- I think we've used quite similar colours funnily enough!

Anne's make also came in the prettiest little sleeve - just love it!

We have had the most glorious week of weather here in The Lake District - so happy for all the visitors who have booked with us and across the Lakes now that the covid regulations allowed.

Door Hanger Just a Girl

I made this door hanger for our grand-daughter Violet who was 5 yesterday.  Just can't believe where the years have gone - she is such a treasure, as all grandparents feel about their grandchildren I'm sure!

The image is from Tracy Easson Just a Girl range and matches the birthday card that I've already shared earlier this year but here's another peek  if you're interested.

For the plaque, I used Prisma pencils as I like the effect you get with them colouring on wood.

That's all from me for now, hoping to spend some time in my craft room today.  Enjoy your day.

ATC swap Tracy Easson Illustrations

I took part in my first ATC swap recently with Tracy Easson Illustrations fans - which I am newly converted to!! The ATC is on the left using Just a Girl  and I made a little co-ordinating card using Morty.  Loved making little miniature pieces! You can find Tracy's stamps here in her Etsy shop.

I've coloured in alcohol markers and then added some embossed stars in Pirate Gold.  I've edged both pieces with a Promarker Antique Gold metallic marker which I rather like the effect of.

Have a great Tuesday, folks!

Wonky Tonk Girls

It's rather cold and overcast here today, so I've spent the afternoon colouring this gorgeous image by Tracy Easson for Which Crafts Day - this little beauty is Day Dreamer - love these images so much.  You can see them all here at Which Craft and you can be certain of great service from them too!

I've coloured with my favourite blue combo in Copics - B28, B26 and FB2 with a little B29 for shadow at the end.

Have a great weekend, everyone - we're nearly there!

Tracy Easson Mermaid

Something a little  bit different today using a Tracy Easson Angel of Love and Light along with some Lavinia stamps . I've stamped her on some inky backgrounds that I made with brushos and Distress Oxides.  I hadn't intended to make an underwater scene but once I'd stamped her (and using White Embossing powder ) I felt she had a bit of a mermaid feel to her with her flowing hair so I went with it!  I've then coloured her with my alcohol markers which have added to her other-worldly feel!

I stamped most of the  plants and fish in Versafine Clair Twilight ink and then used some Posca pens and gold and white highlighter to add detail.

Finally, I've stamped some words from the vairous Angel sets that I have, agian with white embossing powder and fixed them in place with foam pads.

As I said, a little bit different but I do kinda  like it!!

A little Water colouring with Keeper of The Stars Floobert

Another card with the wonderful Tracy Easson Illustration stamps.  I fancied a bit of water colouring and stamped him onto some previously made backgrounds using brushos.

I've  coloured him with my Arteza Watercolour Brush Pens - taking the colours from those already on the background piece.  I've added some freehand doodling to the edges and added some more star stamps that came with another stamp set from Tracy-   Just a Girl and Her Forever Friend.  I've had the teeny glass bottles in my stash for ages and added a little glitter before sealing with the tiny cork they come with.  Perfect for Floobert!  The wishes stamp tag comes with Floobert.

I've cut out the star from a take-away coffee cup heat band and there's a little more behind the image. A blue star button and some white and gold gel pen and Floobert was good to go!

Check out Tracy's Etsy shop here - pure delight and wonderment awaits you!

Morty and Margareet Bottoms

Another stamp from Tracy Easson Illustrations - It Was Written In The Stars - featuring Morty and Margareet Bottoms!  Love!!  It would make a fab Valentine's card -except the hubster and I don't send them anymore! Think I may use this as a wedding card- I'll add the sentiment when I decide - the stamp also comes with lots of suitable fab words and phrases.

The papers are Botanical from Prima and the Wonky Stitched Frame is MFT .  There are also a couple of Marianne Products in there, as below.

Marianne Products Used

Decorative Oval frame set - LR0670
Fern Leaves - LR0403

It's also the first time in ages that I've used some flowers to decorate but I felt the need for some spring!!

Have a great week, and thanks for visiting.
