New block stamps from Marianne Designs

I am so loving these new block stamps from Marianne Designs, released this month.  Together, with the wild flower stamps also released this month, they really make the most gorgeous cards.  I've loved mixing colours and the block stamps sizes and they can be for all sorts of occasions.

A little close up of one or two now and you'll find details of the stamps further down,

The daisy stamp is so pretty, and gives a beautiful crisp image!

I've added my own script stamp on  this one.

And you can also see this Christmas version that I made over on the Marianne Inspirations blog here with a walk through - they're  so versatile.

And in a more contemporary colourway.

I am so late posting this - as the weekly challenge at Passion for Markers renewed yesterday.  We have a great theme of Add a Sentiment  and remember, you can now use any type of marker - so your Copics, your Spectrums and of course, the fabulous Promarkers!!

I've used this fun image from Mo's Digital Pencil - He's Still Got It- what a cheerful chap he is!  And my sentiment is a Woodware one which matches him perfectly! As always, I've used a few of my trusted Marianne dies - I can usually find just what I need in my collection!

Banner Tag set – CS1058

It's a Cupcake kind of a day!

It has been so gorgeous and sunny here in the Lake District that I felt inspired to make a bright and sunny card.

I've used this super cute image, Bake Me a Cake from Mo's Digital Pencil and I've teamed her up with these fab papers from Nit Wit Designs, Sunny Side Up.

I also used this gorgeous new Apron Stencil from Marianne Designs - released this month.  They've brought out some fab cooking themed dies too this month, including the round chopping board that I've turned into a sentiment tag.

The teeny cupcake stamps and dies come from another Marianne set -Eline's Pigs.  They're really just an accent stamp/die from this set but I love how perfect they look with the image - always remember to use the little stamps and dies in your stash!  Anyway, there's a full list of Marianne products below.

The Spring Fling ATC

I took part in another ATC swap over on Tracy Easson group on Face Book.  It's such a lovely thing to do and to see others creations of these gorgeous images.  I've used  The Guid Wife from  The Clan McTavish range.  I decided to paper piece her outfit with some tartan papers which was a little fiddly with the collar and the patches but thought wifey looked so resplendent in her outfit that she needed to be going somewhere, hence the name.

I also made a little card to go with my ATC  using some stamps from the Star Gazer rangers - lots of the littler stamps that I often forget to use.

My swap partner was Anne Richardson from Tracy's Design Team and I've added her gorgeous makes for me below- I think we've used quite similar colours funnily enough!

Anne's make also came in the prettiest little sleeve - just love it!

We have had the most glorious week of weather here in The Lake District - so happy for all the visitors who have booked with us and across the Lakes now that the covid regulations allowed.

Feeling Feminine at Passion for Markers

It's Tuesday so that means -- it's the day I do my food shopping!!  Haha but it also means new challenge day at Passion for Markers with a great theme of Feminine  chosen by our lovely Lorraine - so many wonderful ways of interpreting the theme.  I've gone all girly with this gorgeous image from Mo's Digital Pencil called Pretty Purse.

|I've also chosen these beautiful papers from Maja Designs (Summertime and Life in the Country) which are perfectly floral and feminine.

This gorgeous oval die from Marianne Designs also frames her perfectly.  And I love the wildflower die sets from them too - details below.

Flowers for you

This little sweetie is Flowers 4 U from Mo's Digital Pencil - and I had a hankering to make a blue card so here she is! Pop on over to Mo's Online store here to find her.

I used an all time favourite die from Marianne Designs to cut her out and then teamed it up with this wonderful half-circle doily set which came out last month.  So pretty!  Details below.

I'm feeling a bit pooped as we did a walk into town this morning - it's about an hour downhill on the way, and it was beautiful but a bit more of struggle coming back!

A Marianne Designs Room with a View

Today's card was for my spot on the Marianne Inspiration blog here at the end of last month, using the newly released Plant Dies and papers, details below.  As I needed to make my youngest daughter a new home card, they were just perfect.  Their new flat has a lovely balcony and she was looking forward to having lots of plants and growing vegetables so I decided to make a balcony scene to reflect this with new and old Marianne Products!  There's also a write up of how I created the scene on the inspiration blog.

Happy Easter Weekend

Hope you're all enjoying the Easter weekend so far - we brought forward Sunday lunch to Friday Night dinner with our family so that we could make the most of the sunny day (despite it being a bit cold).

Today's card uses Fairy Godfather from Mo's Digital Pencil - love his flamboyant outfit!

The papers are Queen Bee from Pink Paislee, the sentiment is mostly from Woodware - it says Just another magic Monday - so I stamped it and cut it into the individual words and then replaced Monday with a the die cut birthday sentiment.  There's also a few Marianne dies in the mix, details below.

Stars - CR1294
