PFM Christmas in September

Can you believe it - almost the hottest day of the year and we're doing Christmas!!   But, when you're using cute images like this from Colour of Love, what's not to love!

Yes, our sponsors for this week's Christmas in September challenge over at Passion for Markers here are Colour of Love who are going to be offering the lucky winner three digi images!

I've used Sleeping  Holiday  Fred Gnome which you can find here on the Colour of Love site. I've coloured him with Copics then teamed him up with a fab selection of Stampin Up, K&Co and My Mind's Eye papers.  The image comes with a black border so I've added black mats for the paper layers.
The little sentiments are from Marianne Designs - Christmas Carols EC0198.

Don't forget to check out the makes of my DT pals here - super super!  And, don't forget to use Markers on your makes and tell us which ones you've used.

Happy Purrfday

Morning

This little cutie is Happy Purrfday - love his smiley face!!  He is of course from Mo's Digital Pencil, and you can find him here in Mo's store.

And, the little sentiment printed on the  My Mind's Eye design paper is just purrfect too!  (I only realised after I'd picked out what papers I wanted to use!!)

Of course, there are some Marianne products in there - including the stamped sentiment.

Passion for Promarkers - Orange is the new Challenge!

It's my turn to choose the theme for the new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and I've gone with a colour challenge of Orange.  Not previously a favourite colour of mine but I am loving Oranges and Yellows at the minute! It doesn't have to be  a lot of orange - just an accent or as much as you like!!

I've used our sponsor image - Colour of Love Stamps -  of Wildflowers, so pretty!

I've also listed the Promarker pens that I used for the main elements of my card, if you might find that helpful.

My Orange (and yellow) combinations: - Burnt Orange, Orange, Mandarin, Oatmeal
                                     -  Coral, Tequilla Sunrise, Oatmeal, Blush
                                         - Raw Sienna, Sleigh Bells, Gold, Mustard

Products Used

Papers -My Mind's Eye - In Bloom
Oval Frame - Marianne Designs - CR1446
Dies - Sizzix Tim Holtz Wildflowers sets 1 and 2

As I said, we're being sponsored this week by Colour of Love Digi Stamps with a great prize of Three digis from their online store.

So, check out the fabulous makes of my teamies here and then come and join in with us - I look forward to seeing what you create!

Gnomes in Red Hats

Another gnome image - this time from Sheepski Designs - I've fallen in love with it and just makes me smile!
I made a couple of cards in this red colourway and I've also done a couple of others which I'll blog another time.

The papers are My Mind's Eye and the sentiment was a freebie from Making Cards Magazine last year I think! And colouring was with my Promarkers.

The next one is very similar but I've just used a border using a new Marianne Die - LR0635!

Happy Weekend everyone.

Birthday cards!

I love this little girl with her ice-cream - it so reminds me of our little Violet who loves an ice cream!  And she asks you so nicely if she can have one that it's hard to refuse!! The image is called Here from Mo's Digital Pencil of course. Her expression is just perfect for the ice-cream pinching seagull!  This is a Marianne die - full list of Marianne products used is below.
Anyhoo, my card is for our new challenge at Passion for Promarkers today with a nice easy, peasy theme of Birthdays - our bread and butter cards right?!!

Marianne Products Used

Hexagon Die Set - CR1444 - NEW!
Flower Border - LR0537
Signpost - LR0535
Seagull - CR1279
Sun/Sea words from Beach Sentiments set - CS1007
Happy Summer Birthday Sentiments Set - KJ1714

Despite looking, I couldn't find an ice-cream sentiment in my stash so I stamped it separately using a Craftwork Cards alphabet stamp set. (The Sun and Sea words are from the Marianne set above.)

This week, we're being sponsored by Uniko stamps and they're offering the lucky winner a stamp set of their choice!

My teamies have made some fab cards to inspire you so check them out here and then join in our challenge!!

Passion for Promarkers Cats and Dogs

It's new challenge day at Passion for Promarkers with a great theme of Cats and/or Dogs as chosen by our lovely Hazel! I knew straight away that I wanted to use this fab image - Mrow from Mo's Digital Pencil.  You can buy it as I did with the cat and girl separated or pre-merged.  The image doesn't come with anything in Kitty's bowl so I used the hearts from Mo's image Bowl Of.

My papers are My Mind's Eye and the Corner cat is a Joanna Sheen die.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Dr Digi's House of Stamps and they're offering the lucky winner 2 of their digi stamps!
You can check out the rest of my teamie's fab makes here.

Naughty or Nice - merge using three of Mo's images - and 15% off at the minute across the store!

Have you seen the latest release of Two Dollar Digis from Mo?  They are fabulous, this little House being one of them.  (And of course, so versatile). I immediately thought it looked a little like a Gingerbread House so thought it would be great merged with Witches Trick- I flipped it in my merge so it would make my composition more balanced.  I then looked through my images to see which child would fit well and Goodness  with her expression and lollipop fitted the bill perfectly!  (I've also just thought that Cookie Gremlin would be great too! so may have to do that one too!)
There's a couple of Marianne dies there - Anja's Large Ovals (LR0236) for the frame and the snowflake die from the Frame set LR0483.
I then just added the candy cane, copious amounts of Shabby White Frantage and the sentiment tied it all together and means that I can use it as a Christmas card!

Right, we have our lovely Violet this afternoon and she has just woken from her nap so we're going out for a little  walk now!

Hugs, Juliexx
