Passion for Promarkers Anniversary Challenge

Hey folks - it's a very special day for the Passion for Promarkers challenge blog - they've been running for 11 years and I think I've been on the team nearly that long!  It was my very first DT position so it has a very special place in my heart!

The challenge is to use Spots and/or Stripes on your make - just remember to use your Promarkers or other Letraset/Windsor and Newton product that is part of this range.

I decided to go with this fab image from Mo's Digital Pencil - Mummu's Nissu for my card - it seems so topical at the moment with everyone, including me, making our own bread as we have more time on our hands!  Luckily for me, my daughter has been able to get hold of Strong Flour and Yeast for her Pantry Staples business here in the UK, so I'm able ot get hold of supplies which are hard to find on the supermarket shelves!

I sort of feel that my card is a bit busy but sort of kind of like it too!    Full list of products used below.

Papers - October Afternoon - Modern Homemaker
Window Die - Marianne Designs - LR0583
Utensil Dies - Marianne Designs - CR1247
Sentiment Tags/Dies - Marianne Designs - CS1029

Our Fabulous Holly!

Our Holly was 30 last month - eek- and she has recently started a pop-up market stall with her friend, selling pantry staples and cleaning products that aren't wrapped in plastic.  So you take all your jars, containers and bottles and they refill them for you so you're not adding to the plastic pollution!
So, I made this card using a load of dies and things I've had in my stash for ages but have barely used!!  Hubby made a few comments!!

The large sentiment is from Lili of The Valley, the Scales are Sizzix, and the small jars stamp, dies and sentiment combos are from PaperTrey Ink - Holly's business is called Goodness and Grain so I altered the sentiment on the small jar below!!
The little plastic jar above ( not that it reflects their ethos!!) is from Jolee and the paper is from October Afternoon.

That's all for today, folks!

Kai is One and so is Benjamin!

Today's card was for the 1st birthday of our gorgeous little great-nephew, Ben, who was 1 on Mother's Day.  Appropriately, the image is called Kai is One and can be found here at Mo's Digital Pencil.  And it comes in a girl version here.
The papers are from October Afternoon - Schoolhouse 8x8 pad and the Happy Birthday stamp and die combo are from PTI.  And of course, there are a few Marianne Goodies there including the number, rosette, stars and stitched circle - full details below:

Passion for Promarkers new challenge - Feminine Fancy

I all but forgot that it was my team to post for this week's PFP challenge - I've made myself a schedule too!  Still, managed to make this card, using a lovely digi image from Lili of The Valley.  Not used one of their images in ages, and I love this little retro cutie.
I took my colour scheme from the October Afternoon papers. and used a double stitch Marianne circle die for the edge round the image.  All Marianne goodies below:

Passe Partout Double Stitch circle die set:  CR1360
Tag:  From Labels XL and Labels XS set - CR1353
Teatime Sentiment and cup: Eline's Winter Stamps - EC0131

And can you see the cute little tea bag charm on the ribbon- it's so sweet!
Our fabulous sponsors this week are Dies to Die for who are offering the lucky winner a stunning £15 voucher to spend in the store!

All about the Arts Monthly Blog Hop with us at Mo's Dream Team

The months are just speeding by and it's already time for our monthly blog hop over on Mo's Dream Team!  This month's theme has been chosen by the one and only Vili and this is where the hop begins with, I'm sure an awesome make to show you.  Otherwise, you should have hopped here from the wonderful Gretha's blog.
For my card, I've gone with a very loose interpretation of Art with this little lad, Sam in Trouble, who's been getting creative in the wrong place!!  This reminds me of when my daughter, Emily, was little and we found her name scratched into a little antique table!  She was adamant it wasn't her and actually now I find it quite endearing every time I see it!
I've used a couple of Cat's Life Press stamps - the alphabet and the Handmade Art, and an Inkadinkadoo kid's quote for the birthday greeting!
I've coloured Sam with a mix of Promarkers and Flexmarkers and he looks suitably red in the face at being caught don't you think!
Your next stop on the hop is over at the fabulous Debby's blog and don't forget to leave a comment at each blog you visit as you could be the lucky winner of one of two $5 dollar vouchers hidden on the Dream Team's blog posts!  The full order of our hop is listed below should you need it!

Passion for Promarkers - Back to School!

I cannot believe that we are at the start of September already and it's  back to school time!  However, it is and that's our theme over at Passion for Promarkers as chosen by our lovely Lou.  I used this gorgeous Lili of the Valley stamp and matched her up with some papers from October Afternoon which I got from Simon Says Stamp as part of their September project kit.  Love the stickers that came with it and the name tape Washi tape!!

The rest of my embellies were from my stash.
We have the wonderful Whiff of Joy sponsoring our challenge this week and you could win a stamp of your choice!

Don't forget to look at the awesome makes by the rest of my teamies at PFP here!

Rory from Mo Manning

This little lovely is Rory from Mo's Digital Pencil.  There is something so sweet about a little girl in Mum's shoes -not so sweet when they grow up and start pinching them!

My papers are Thrift Shop from October Afternoon, and I've used various dies including the hanging daisies and the bow scroll from Memory Box, the heart border which  is a Martha Stewart punch and the mat border which is a Spellbinders nestie.
Nice to think I have another day off tomorrow but don't feel I've made the most of the three day weekend here so might do a spot of shopping tomorrow.

Sketch Saturday Guest Designer.

I was delighted to be asked to be Guest Designer for the month of April over at Sketch Saturday - I always love their sketches and don't use them often enough!  And, as their sponsor this week, is the fabulous Mo from Mo's Digital Pencil, my cup runneth over!
This is the great sketch from Sketch Saturday DT member, Lesley, ( and my oldest (in that I'v known her for over 40 years, not that she's really old!) and dearest friend!) and as you can see, I've used the cutest of Mo images, Two Toby, which you can find here in Mo's store.

I've coloured him with my Pro and Flexmarkers and matched him up with some October Afternoon papers (I think  5 & Dime).  The sentiment is just perfect don't you think with this little howler and means I can use my card for peeps of any age!!! It's from an image stamp set, Poker Face by Crafter's Companion.
The banner die is a Joanna Sheen Signature die, and the Happy Birthday is Cat's Life Press.

Do pop on over to the Sketch Saturday Challenge blog - the DT have made some fabulous cards to inspire you and  if you join in, you could win a voucher to spend in Mo's Digital Pencil and there are three up for grabs!!

While I'm here, I'm thrilled to have been picked in the  Top Three over at Crafts and Me for March for  my Box card here -thank you so much!!

Mo's Goodness and two top threes!

Hi there bloggers - where has this week gone, I just do not know.  Very busy at work and have felt brain dead in the evening doing all those sums!  So haven't been on here much and forgot to post this little lady and also to proudly display a couple of Top Three wins, one from the lovely ladies at Sketch Saturday for my Mummu card recently here and one for my Book Frame card here which I entered at Creative Moments- thank you ladies, I'm well chuffed!!

Back to today's card and this is the super cute, Goodness from Mo's Digital Pencil.

What a sweetie she is don't you think - Mo's homage to the wonderful Shirley Temple! I've coloured her with my Promarkers and then layered her up on some Go Kreate dies and October Afternoon Papers with a little Lili of the Valley sentiment.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:

Crafty Hands: Buttons and Bows
That's Crafty: Inky Challenge - used alcohol ink and Fired Brick Distress Ink on the frame
Crafty Ribbons: Anything Goes with a ribbon.
Shopping Our Stash:  Buttons and Bows
Right, need to go off and do some chores now before getting down to  some crafting later!  Happy Saturday!

Sketch N Stash -Matching Colours I am so late posting this!!!

Hi - I am so late posting this, but at least it will be on the right day!!  It's for the latest challenge over at Sketch N Stash with the optional theme of Matching Colours, and the sketch is below.

As you can see, I've rotated the sketch as it better fitted my Mo image called Perfection (click on the link to be taken to Mo's Digital Pencil).  I love this image, it is just so perfect for all the budding cupcake cooks and fans which are so popular now!

My matching papers are from an October Afternoon Modern Homemaker set and I've  frantaged the cake and the wooden spoon and cup to look like frosting!!

The flowers are mostly from Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is from a Kraftin Kimmie set.

Our sponsor for this challenge is My Mums Craft Shop

 - one lucky winner gets £10 to spend.

We are extending the challenge to  4 weeks for this challenge to allow for holidays - we will have some inspiration mid-way to  keep the creative juices flowing!  You can see the first lot of  DT cards here.

I'm back to work tomorrow after a few days off, I feel very refreshed and had a wonderful weekend away with my M&S girlies!xxxx
