And I'm back although my mojo doesn't seem to be!

Yes, here I am, having moved from London to the Lake District at the beginning of January.  I was so happy to get my craft room all set up last week and was raring to go and really enjoyed making this new baby card for my niece who gave birth to little Joshua a couple of weeks ago but since then - nothing!!  Maybe because I have so much else to do and think about at the minute.
Anyhoo, today's card is for our new challenge at Passion For Promarkers which starts today which is One for the Boys as chosen by our lovely Marie.  Lucky my niece had a boy then - congratulations Harrisons!!
My image is a new one from Mo's Digital Pencil called Laundry Day which you can find here as well as lots of other gorgeous new digital images to tempt you!  I feel my colouring has got a bit rusty too so really must try and get some more practise in.  I've used lots of lovely Marianne Dies including the letters from a new Alphabet  Banner set (LR0340), the Baby word and Safety Pins (LR0217) and the fabulous Anja Squares (LR0242) of which I've used the two outer dies.
The star dies were from a magazine freebie and the sentiment is from Inkadinkado, oh and my papers are First Edition It's a Boy!
I must remember to post up some pictures of our new home and our little business attached to it - we have a holiday cottage to let but for now a couple of pictures of the view from our garden with the recent snow, and a lovely winter walk the other day.

We have two sponsors for this week's challenge - Letraset and Polkadoodles:

The prize from Letraset is a 12 pen Manga set

and Polkadoodles are giving two digi images to a lucky entrant!

Hey folks!  It's time for a new challenge over at Sketch n Stash today using the fab sketch below.
I've gone to the fab Mo's Digital Pencil for my image - Winter Fairy Manty (click on the name to take you to the image in Mo's store).  I've coloured him with my Promarkers and then turned to my dies for embellies!
This little sentiment is from Cosmo Cricket and the twig and pine cone die set is from Marianne (catalogue number L0286).  The leaves are cut with a Tim Holtz die and the rest is from stash.  Ooh and my papers are mostly My Mind's Eye.

We have two fab sponsors for this challenge as below:

Sponsor - Crafty Individuals

and
Sponsor - Sparkle N Sprinkle

Prize - 4 Images
Now all we need is all you lovely crafters out there to come and join in our challenge - check out the fab makes of my SNS teamies here for more inspiration!

Daisy , Daisy give me your answer do!

This is my first 'just because' card in a while and it's the gorgeous Daisy from Mo's Digital Pencil.

I teamed her with some Prima papers, Annalee, and used my Pansy Punch Around the Page set from Martha Stewart,  a Marianne branch die and some Shabby Pink Frantage.

Haven't felt alot like card-making recently, feeling a bit sad about our house move not progressing, but must admit to looking forward to being out of work in 8 weeks time!!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Rory from Mo Manning

This little lovely is Rory from Mo's Digital Pencil.  There is something so sweet about a little girl in Mum's shoes -not so sweet when they grow up and start pinching them!

My papers are Thrift Shop from October Afternoon, and I've used various dies including the hanging daisies and the bow scroll from Memory Box, the heart border which  is a Martha Stewart punch and the mat border which is a Spellbinders nestie.
Nice to think I have another day off tomorrow but don't feel I've made the most of the three day weekend here so might do a spot of shopping tomorrow.

Mo's Little Elf Ava

Hi there - well I'm into the second week of my holiday at home.  Harry had the second op on his hand yesterday at St George's locally - so much  more professional than the other hospital.  Slowly, slowly getting better too - probably not quick enough for Harry though!  One of my other babies, Emily, left on Saturday for three/four months of travelling around Europe!  She's with a great friend, Tom, so I know they'll look after each other - yesterday France, today, Barcelona, tomorrow - I need to look at the calendar!
She should be home just before Christmas and not that I want to wish the time away but what a Christmas pressie to have her back.
And speaking of Christmas, this is another festive card, using Mo's Little Elf Ava which you can find here in Mo's digital store - one of a number of yummy new Christmas images for 2013!
I' ve coloured her with my Promarkers  and used these fabulous Webster's Pages Christmas papers. The holly die is from Marianne Dies, the deer is a Tim Holtz die and the sentiment from Lili of the Valley.

As we haven't gone away this holiday, I've been trying to get cracking on making my Christmas cards in bulk and have made precisely 6!  I'm going to have to make them quicker than that!
Still the weather is lovely at the minute - the last of summer, so hope to get a bit of R&R in the garden tomorrow.

SNS New Challenge

Hi there  - hope you all had a lovely weekend, I had a lovely day with my sister on Saturday and then went out to lunch yesterday for Father's Day here in the UK. I used our new sketch over at Sketch and Stash to make my card for my Dad - he's a keen bird watcher and likes nothing better than going out taking pics and seeing what he can see.  Obviously better to do this in the summer - and that just happens to be our optional theme at SNS for this challenge - Summer Fun!
My image is called Adventure Guy by the brilliant Mo Manning - you can find a the image here in her on line store.

My papers are Webster's Pages, and the little birdies were a gift from matey, Lesley - I've inked the edges with a little Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  Acutally, the wheel and arrow, which I sort of thought looked like his compass, were also a gift from Lesley- lucky me!

And, as we're being sponsored by the Stamp Fairy for this challenge - £10 voucher up for grabs, folks - I made another card using one of their images, Molly on her Swing.

The checked papers are  from Craftwork cards, and the rest  of the bits are from Stash - isn't she a little cutie!

Happy New Year - New Beginnings at PFP

Hi everyone, hope you enjoyed New Year's Eve whatever you did.  We had a quiet night in with Chinese, and then watched Jools Holland's Hootenany with the fireworks at 12am.  Did you see Leanne La Havas on Jools?  She'a a friend of my daughter, Holly - they were at school together, doesn't she have a fab voice - lovely girl too!
With the extended Mega Challenge over Christmas at Passion for Promarkers, I got confused with what week I was meant to be posting and so made a card for this week, when next week is my week!  Oh well, this needed to be made!  The Challenge theme is New Beginnings and there is no greater new beginning than a new baby!!
This little cutie pie is of course, Baby Girl by Mo Manning, and I've teamed her up with the yummy Little Darlings papers by Graphic 45.  The chipboard dress is K&Co and the lace punch was a Christmas present from best matey, Lesley!  The rest of the bits and pieces are from stash. I should also say that this an 8x8 card as I wanted to use so many embellies and layers!

Our sponsor this week is the ever generous Letraset and they are offering a prize of a New Promarker Collectors set.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas at Basic Grey Challenges!

Morning - hopefully, this will be me today after I've spent the morning (and maybe some of the afternoon) Xmas shopping!    The card is for our new challenge at Basic Grey Challenges where we have a theme of It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas!
My image is from the magical pen of Mo Manning and is called Dani With Presents.  I've coloured her with Pro and FlexMarkers and my Basic Grey papers are from the  Little Black Dress 6x6 pad.
I've also added some snow flakes from a  Tim Holtz On The Edge Die, and also some Marianne Die Snowflakes.  The ruffled chiffon ribbon is also Tim  Holtz! And the pearl centres were courtesy of my matey Lesley!!xx
As always our fabulous sponsor, Simon Says Stamp, is offering a $25 dollar voucher to the lucky winner of our challenge.

Do come and play - you still need to make some Christmas cards don't you!!!  Just remember to use your Basic Grey stash items and tell us what they are!  You can see the rest of the BG team creations here - gorgeous they are!

Sketch N Stash 102

Hello Peeps - I can't believe that it's nearly a week since my last post (and probably my last comment)!  However, I'm in full Christmas mode now and have been frantically putting up decorations, making a few presents and buying a whole lot more!! It will be here before we know it and I'm not ready!!
I am ready to show you my card for our new challenge at Sketch N Stash with another great sketch for you this fortnight, from our fabulous Sue!!
This fortnight's challenge is being sponsored by Di's Digi Downloads with an awesome prize of 5 images of their choice for the lucky winner - yummy!

The image I've used is by Mo Manning - Hoppy Christmas - and she has such a delightful expression on her face - pure joy, hence my using the bauble/joy combo die cuts from Tim Holtz.

My papers are a mix of Echo Park and Crate Paper and the little paper lantern border is a Memory Box die.

You can check out the rest of the SNS team's gorgeous cards here - have a good week y'all!!
