New Baby, New Grandma

I chose a LOTV image for this card for a special friend who has just become a Nanny for the first time - and left it quite clean and simple too! I do love the way he is peeking round the side of his buggy!

The papers are first edition and the sentiment comes from a great set of stamps for babies from Marianne Design - EC0170, picture below.

Image result for EC0170 Marianne designs
And then I just finished it off with a bit of doodling and the tag which came with the paper pad.

Thanks for popping by!

Evan with Ipad from Mo's Digital Pencil

Another boy card today - for one of my lovely little great-nephews recently.  I have to say, I feel so rotten with this cold at the minute that I'm late posting this today.

Anyway, this is Evan with Ipad from Mo's Digital Pencil and comes with the Level Up sentiment.  It does amaze me seeing all the littluns with technology - they are so comfortable with it- well of course it's never not been there for them!

The papers are Animal Antics from First Edition and the little dinosaur and roarsome sentiment is a Hobbycraft set.  And oc course the image is cut out with the Wonky Squares set from Marianne Designs - CR1375

Have a great weekend everyone - don't forget about the clocks changing here in the UK and enjoy Mother's Day tomorrow if you are celebrating!

Fairy Sleepy

This is the gorgeous Fairy Sleepy from Mo's Digital Pencil and I thought she'd make a great baby card.  Sadly she is being retired but it looks like she's still in the  shop at the minute so grab her while you can!

The papers and tag are from First Edition, the  little dress die is from Joy Crafts and the flowers are a fab new set from Marianne Design this month - Anja's Beautiful Flowers -  LR0546.

Busy with our lovely Em and her boyfriend visiting this week, so that's all from me for now.

Lili of The Valley Polka Dots Baby

I couldn't resist this new digi image from Lili of The Valley when it came out recently!   He/She is called Polka Dots and is such a sweetie.  I know loads of littluns who have had a snuggle bunny too so extra cute!!
I've coloured the image with my Promarkers and added some white gel pen to the polka dotsto make them pop.
My papers are First Edition, the sentiment is Inkadinkadoo.  The little babygros are Memory Box but can't remember who the animal border die is by!  Of course, I do know that that Baby Fawn is Marianne - COL1401.

We have our Violet this afternoon for Nanny and Grandad time, so need to do a few jobs first.
At least it's Friday- happy weekend everyone!

Large Bow Die - LR0447
Miniature Bunny Die from Baby Animals set - COL 1422 (all such cute dies!)

And I'm back although my mojo doesn't seem to be!

Yes, here I am, having moved from London to the Lake District at the beginning of January.  I was so happy to get my craft room all set up last week and was raring to go and really enjoyed making this new baby card for my niece who gave birth to little Joshua a couple of weeks ago but since then - nothing!!  Maybe because I have so much else to do and think about at the minute.
Anyhoo, today's card is for our new challenge at Passion For Promarkers which starts today which is One for the Boys as chosen by our lovely Marie.  Lucky my niece had a boy then - congratulations Harrisons!!
My image is a new one from Mo's Digital Pencil called Laundry Day which you can find here as well as lots of other gorgeous new digital images to tempt you!  I feel my colouring has got a bit rusty too so really must try and get some more practise in.  I've used lots of lovely Marianne Dies including the letters from a new Alphabet  Banner set (LR0340), the Baby word and Safety Pins (LR0217) and the fabulous Anja Squares (LR0242) of which I've used the two outer dies.
The star dies were from a magazine freebie and the sentiment is from Inkadinkado, oh and my papers are First Edition It's a Boy!
I must remember to post up some pictures of our new home and our little business attached to it - we have a holiday cottage to let but for now a couple of pictures of the view from our garden with the recent snow, and a lovely winter walk the other day.

We have two sponsors for this week's challenge - Letraset and Polkadoodles:

The prize from Letraset is a 12 pen Manga set

and Polkadoodles are giving two digi images to a lucky entrant!

Don't forget to check out the rest of the team's fab makes here and then don't forget to come and join in our challenge this week.  I'm looking forward to getting back to blogging even if not making stuff!

Hush! from Mo Manning

I know I sound like a stuck record when it comes to Mo Manning images but I think this has got to be a new favourite!  This is the darling Hush! drawn with softer, grey lines which I think really add to the vintage feel of the image.
The image was calling to be used with these fab First Edition It's a Girl papers (a boy pad is also available!)  The little fawn brad was from a recent Craft Barn purchase and the flowers are Kort and Godt from Live and Love Crafts, as is the velvet lace!  The little rocking horse is cut with a Cottage Cutz die and the rest of my embellies are from stash.
The sentiment is from an Inkadinkadoo set which was being sold at a  price of £2.50 at Sandown last month so nabbed a few of these great value sets!
We've now had the survey on our house so hoping that our move picks up pace now  and we can get sorted before Christmas!

New challenge at Sketch N Stash

It's new challenge day for Sketch N Stash, and it's a great little sketch from our back catalogue.  Of course I've had to rotate it to suit the shape of my image but I think I've pretty much stuck to the sketch!
I've used this gorgeous little stamp from Lili of the Valley, so sweet!
My papers are a mix of First Edition and Santuro papers, (the heart one). Love the little dress and shoe dies from Marianne, with the little rocking horse being cut with a Cottage Cutz die.  I always forget to use the littlest dies in a set but here I remembered for the sentiment matting, (sentiment is PTI).
I finally added some Memory Box hanging hearts to match the little hear hanging from the pushchair.

We have two fab sponsors as below:

Sponsor - Crafty Individuals

Good eh!
