Mo's Skating Gnomes

More  Mo gnomes to share - this time the Skating Gnomes Dag and Dyri that come as a duo.  I've placed them with some of the tree images that you get free when you spend $25 dollars in the store!

I've simply positioned them in a word document and they've overlaid where necessary - so easy to create this little scene!

The frames I've used are from Stamping Up, the papers are from a My Mind's Eye Christmas 12x12 pad and the little old-fashioned skates are a Joy craft die.  The trees, sentiment and tag are from Marianne Designs. details as follows.

Large  Spar Tree Die - LR0378
Small Trees Dies - LR0136 and LR0556
Banner Tag Die - CS1058
Sentiment - Happy Holidays Set  - CS1009

Love these gnome stamps - so great to colour!

Fairy Sleepy

This is the gorgeous Fairy Sleepy from Mo's Digital Pencil and I thought she'd make a great baby card.  Sadly she is being retired but it looks like she's still in the  shop at the minute so grab her while you can!

The papers and tag are from First Edition, the  little dress die is from Joy Crafts and the flowers are a fab new set from Marianne Design this month - Anja's Beautiful Flowers -  LR0546.

Busy with our lovely Em and her boyfriend visiting this week, so that's all from me for now.

Season's Greetings!

Couldn't resist this little lovely from Mo's Digital Pencil - such a great image!  She's called Season's Greetings (and comes with the sentiment!) and I love the sense of her holding on for dear life before being blown away in a snow blizzard!
I've teamed her up with some new Joy Craft papers - Winter Wonderland - from Noor Designs UK.  I also got the Winter word die from here -  this is going to be a new favourite - love the font and style!
I've also used a Memory Box snowflake wreath, Tim Holtz On The Edge snowflakes and some Impression Obsession trees.  The rest of my goodies are from stash, including lots of Aged Aqua and Chunky White Frantage!
I'm taking a break from packing tomorrow to visit best matey, Lesley, and to see all her wonderful US purchases!!  Then catching up in the evening with my M&S mateys!

Get Your Geek On

We have a great challenge starting today over at a Passion For Promarkers, chosen by our lovely Lou who wants to see all your Geeks (images wearing glasses).  Well nobody does Geek Chic better than Krista at Saturated Canary and I've used the gorgeously chic, Vintage Violet.

You might remember that I made various embellies out of some Thermomorph a couple of weeks ago, and this purple Chrysanthemum is one of them.
My papers are from the Prima Meadow Lark pad, and the various die cuts include Tim Holtz for the butterfly border, a Marianne rolled flowers and twig set, and a Joy Craft Lattice and matching Corner.  The image itself was cut out with a Spellbinders set.
To finish off, I added some grey liquid pearl around Violet and on the lattice and butterflies.

Letraset are sponsoring this week's challenge and the lucky winner will receive a set of Flexmarkers.

Hippity Hoppity with Mo's Dream Team!

Hi Everyone, I can't believe how quickly the weeks and months are passing us by  - scary!  But passing they are and that means it's time for our monthly blog hop over at Mo's Dream Team.

This month the theme of Circles has been chosen by our awesome Gretha.  You should have arrived here from her blog which is also the first stop and I just know she had a fabulous card to kick things off.

For my card, I've used Baby Bow - this so reminds me of my niece Charlotte when she was little and dressed ready for her ballet lessons in a blue leotard and pink tights (hence my colour choice).  My  daughters went to the same ballet school but this image is definitely Charlotte who is expecting her own little ballerina at Christmas!
My papers are mostly First Edition with a little random blue gingham card to tie in with the leotard.  I've then used  various dies, including a Memory Box circle die and for the flowers, a Marianne die for the mount round the image, a Joy Craft die at the side and a Magnolia die for the gingham edging.
I finished off with a Lili of the Valley sentiment and a bit of vintage seam binding, a few pearls and a resin flower from Stampin Up and voila!

Your next stop on the hop is the fabulous Debby Y - prepare to be wowed!  You can see the full order of the hop below in case you've got lost (links are on my side bar).

Gretha, Julie, Debby Y, Heidy, Alice, Vili, Alexandra, Anneke, Danielle, Kaly, Mina,  Jak

And don't forget to leave a comment on every blog as there are two $5 dollar vouchers for Mo's Store for a couple of lucky commentors.
Thanks so much for popping in and leaving a comment,  they so cheer up a dull day at work!!
