Berry Fairy Aliz

Happy weekend people!!  I forgot it was Saturday today - the days just seem to roll into each other at the minute.  It's hard to believe it's only April too - the weather has been like high summer so we've been spending lots of time in the garden, although no strawberries yet of course!

This little sweetie is Berry Fairy Aliz from Mo's Digital Pencil - good enough to eat!! (And you can get the pre-coloured image here!).

The papers are from Nitwit and the gorgeous strawberry dies are from Marianne Designs, as is the lovely corner die - deets below.

Marianne Products Used

Strawberry Dies - LR0510
Grass Die - LR0623
Floral Corner Die- LR0428

The little Sentiment is from a PTI set.

Right, I need to get dressed and get cracking in the garden while the sun is still shining!!

Enjoy your day everyone.

New Year New Baby Card

My first post for 2020 so Happy New Year everyone and appropriately perhaps, I've a new baby card for you using Jessie from Mo's Digital Pencil. I kept things fairly simple with just a couple of die cuts from Marianne Design (Duck Rattle LR0307  and Safety Pin LR0217).

The sentiments with dies and stamps are all from Paper Trey Ink.

We intend to our decorations down today - it's nice to get back into normal routines and make non-Christmas themed cards.  Having said that I feel determined to make at least one Christmas card a week so that I don't have the mad rush at the end of the year - watch this space!!

Sequins, Gems or Pearls anyone?

Our new challenge starts today over at Passion For Promarkers HQ and our lovely Shelly has chosen this lovely, easy theme of Sequins, Gems and/or Pearls.
I've used this gorgeous Oak Fairy image from Mo's Digital Pencil  and a few sequins have finished it off nicely!

I've made the background papers with a stunning skeleton leaf stamp which is new from Marianne Designs - stamped and embossed and then I've added my inks to highlight the lovely veins of the leaves!  The oak leaf die cuts are also new from Marianne Designs as is the circle web die framing the image.  Details below:

Skeleton Leaf Stamp - TC8077 - NEW!
Leaf Die set of 4 - LR0621- NEW!
Web edged Circle Die set - LR0430

The sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink and that has been cut out with a couple of Stampin Up punches.

Our sponsors this week are the fabulous LeAnn's World 101 and they are offering the lucky winner two images of their choice!

Hope you can come and join us for the challenge here!

Lavinia Make A Wish

I love the simplicity of these types of cards and I love this Lavinia stamp and how you get an extra teeny stamp for the dandelion seed head to blow away in the wind, I inked through an oval with distress inks and I think the stamp is Paper Trey Ink although I can't remember now for sure!
Busy day today, cleaning our holiday let for our next guests then Violet this afternoon :)

Marianne Silhouette Stamps

I've been practising making backgrounds with various inks and the new Silhouette Stamps from Marianne Designs make the perfect scenes - especially for Lake District type scenic cards!
I made this one by inking through a circle so you get a nice crisp edge and then adding the trees at the edge.  These stamps are from the Woodland Set - CS1014 and there are more sets coming out soon!!

The sentiment is by PaperTreyInk and I've used a mix of Distress Inks and Adirondack Inks for the mountain scene.

The Librarian for The Librarian!

It was hubby's birthday this week and this is my card for him using one of Mo's newest images The Librarian.  Perfect for Nick as that was his job before we moved up here to The Lakes.  Of course I'm not sure that he ever wore a green polka dot dress to work but who knows!

I've had this book-themed stamp set from Simon Says Stamps for ages and this sentiment fits the stealthy look on the The Librarian's face as she chooses her book!!

Did you also catch Mo's moniker on one of the books- I love that touch!!

The bookmark die is from Papertrey Ink, the little paper scroll is Marianne (LR0419) and the little library book label is a stamp I've had for years but can't remember who by!

We've got Violet today and tomorrow - little treasure that she is!!

Sassy!

I managed to find a little crafting time this week to make this little beauty- Sassy is the image from Mo's Digital Pencil and Sassy she is!

The papers are My Mind's Eye and I just felt this OH EM GEE sentiment from a Mama Elephant set suited her perfectly.  The It's Your Birthday is a die/stamp combo from Paper Trey Ink which I layered onto sticky foam before die cutting to get the dimension.

We've had family visiting for the last couple of weeks and it's been just lovely, the house is so quiet tonight!  And Violet has just loved playing with all our great-nieces and nephews!
