Lavinia Zen Tree and new addition to the family tree!!

This is the birthday card for our lovely Holly back in May, and following a tutorial from Tracey at Lavinia Stamps  using the Zen tree and liquid pearls.  I made the background papers with Distress Oxides.

Very simple in many ways but loved the process.

My Holly and her Harry are also adding to the family tree (geddit!) with a baby brother or sister for Violet due at the end of December - almost half way!!

Good morning bloggers!

It's my turn in the hostess chair (sadly no cocktail in hand!) over at Passion for Markers this week and I've chosen a theme of holidays.  It can be any sort of holiday - summer, Christmas, adventure - whatever sort of holiday you like!

The papers I've used are from a really old Recollections 12x12 pad and I've used a gorgeous new die set from Marianne Designs  with this fab deckle edge - it's called Stamp Frames COL1532.  I then added a postcard stamp sentiment form Tim Holtz and the Wish you were Here is another Marianne item from the Wishes sentiment set , CS1079

The DT have been lucky to be able to choose an image from our sponsors this week, Leann's World  101, and I've used this gorgeous image called Martini.

Leann’s World 101 and they are offering one lucky winner 2 digi images of their choice from. their online store.

As always, you can use any type of marker, just remember to state which ones you've used.  You can join in the challenge here at Passion for Markers - you can also see all the fab makes of my teamies.
I'm already looking forward to seeing all your holiday creations this week - have fun!

Hi folks

I'm a little late in sharing my card for our latest challenge at Passion for Markers - I'm down in Norwich at the minute helping my sisters look after our very poorly Dad.

Anyhoo, this is my card for our current Clean and Simple themed challenge over at Passion for Markers here.  I've used one of our sponsor images, Valentine, from Sheepski Designs, and you can see more fab creations using Sheepski images from my teamies over on PFM HQ.

Marianne Designs Meercat Family with a Jigsaw Jungle background

I used the foam stamping technique again with this card, this time using the gorgeous Succulent Squares die to create the 'stamp image'.  I used a variety of green inks to make the background and then cut them into jigsaw pieces with the new die set from Marianne Designs.  It's fabulous, as you can make your jigsaw as large or small as you like using just the three die pieces in the set.

I also love the Meercat stamp and die set which suits the sentiment perfectly, I think.  Anyway, full list of Marianne goodies below.
