Passion for Promarkers - We're all Squares this week!

Nice and easy-peasy challenge starting today at Passion for Promarkers where we want you to be Square!  So it can be just as easy as a square card blank!
Our sponsors this week are the fab Dr Digi stamps where you can always be sure of getting a great image, especially for those difficult male cards.  This one is Caveman Klob - what a beaut eh! Just click on his name to find him in the on line store.

I've coloured him with my Promarkers of course then matched him up with some free papers from the May 19 edition of Making Cards Magazine and also some from DCWV - Safari Chic.
The sentiment is from Mama Elephant and really suits this cool dude somehow.

The winner of this week's challenge will be able to choose two digi images of their choice from Dr Digi's store  so hope you will join in the challenge with us!
Check out the fab makes of my teamies here if you'd like some inspiration.

Mo's Digital Pencil Sheriff

I've been trying to make a few more cards for boys for stock so coloured up this little cutie, Sheriff from Mo's Digital Pencil.

The horseshoe die is from Marianne but it didn't need an awful lot else with these papers. (Think they're from a 12x12 DCWV pad.)

TTFN!

Going Dotty at Passion for Promarkers

Oops - a bit late in posting this but today's card is for our Going Dotty Challenge starting today at PFP as chosen by our lovely Lisa!  I've gone with some Dotty colouring with my promarkers and also the animal print dotty paper from DCWV.  My image is Three Little Kittens from Mo's Digital Pencil - what's not to love!!
The stitched border die is from Marianne Designs - deets below, and I just couldn't wait to use the sun and clouds that came in my DT pack from Marianne - they come as part of a bendy card set, but just used them here quickly as they fitted with my design and colour combo.

Craftables Stitched Waves and Cloud set - CR1361

Sketch N Stash and my 30th Wedding Anniversary today!

Hello bloggy friends - it's a Monday and so time for our new challenge at Sketch N Stash.  It also just so happens to be my 30th Wedding Anniversary today, so I used our new sketch below to make a card for my hubby Nick. We've actually been together for 35 years as we met in the 6th form when we were at school - and they said it wouldn't last!!!
As you can see, I've rotated the sketch to use the circle element as my focus, with this romantic pre-coloured topper that I picked up at a Craft Fair a while ago.

My papers are from a  DCWV 12x12 pad that I think I bought back from the US last year - perfect for the occasion.  We're not doing an awful lot of celebrating, we tend to be a bit low key about these events, just focussing all our energy on willing our move to become a reality - now that would be a great way to celebrate!!  Anyway, I'm off to work today, so no time to reminisce about where those 30 years went!!

Our sponsors for this fortnight's challenge are Inky Impressions and you can check out what the rest of the SNS design team have made here.

Happy Monday everyone!!

A Passion for Promarkers and another A Day for Daisies image

Yep, another A Day for Daisies image from me, this time for our new challenge at A Passion For Promarkers where we have a gorgeous theme of Pearls and Pins - right up my street!
My beautiful image is  Spring Flower Hair ( a new favourite!) that I've coloured with my Promarkers and Trias.
I've then used a Petal point card blank and used the card as a template to cut out the paper from a DCWV Luxury 12x12 pad.  I then got the Frantage out again, this time in Aged Wine, added some pearls, flowers and pins and that was it - I printed out the image quite large scale, so didn't have an awful lot more room for anything else!
As mentioned, ADFD are our wonderful sponsors so do come and along and join in this week's challenge!

And don't forget to check out the wonderful cards of my fab PFP teamies here!

Passion for Promarkers - Sketch!

We have a new challenge starting today over at a Passion for Promarkers with a great sketch for you to work with from our gorgeous DT matey, Lou.

I've used this fab Lili of the Valley image from their Romance Sketch pad (which, sadly, now seems to be discontinued).  My papers are from a DCWV 8x8 pad, Garden Party, the panels behind my image are a Marianne die, as is the pink heart balloon, while the thin heart dies are from Impression Obsession.  The flowers are Kort and Godt and the tag sentiment is from Stampin Up.
Our sponsor this week is Letraset themselves who are giving the lucky entry a pack of 6 Flexmarkers!
And don't forget to check out the wonderful makes of my fabulous teamies here!

Passion for Promarkers Butterfly Kisses

We have a fabby new challenge starting today over at A Passion For Promarkers - Butterfly Kisses.  Simply add a butterfly somewhere on your creation and enter our challenge.
I love the expression on this image, Mummu, by Mo's Digital Pencil.  I like to think she's finished her chores for the day and is going into the garden to enjoy some sunshine!
I've coloured the image with a mixture of Promarkers and Flexmarkers, and one or two Trias. My papers are DCWV Linen Closet Papers and the trellis die is a Marianne Die. The butterfly flourish is from Joanna Sheen and the little fence is a Tim Holtz die.  The sentiment is a Lili of  the Valley grunge one.
I've followed this week's sketch over at Sketch Saturday which I rather enjoyed using so I'm entering my card into their challenge.

Come and play along with us at PFP - check out the wonderful makes of my DT buddies here!  Thanks for popping by xxxx

Make it Digital at Passion For Promarkers

Today's card is for our  new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where the theme is Make It Digital and we want to see your digital images or papers or both!. My digi image is called Zoom from Mo's Digital Pencil - what a sweetie, he is, just like my little great-nephew Sam, who is 2 today!
I made a penny slider card, my papers from DCWV seemed to just call for it!  I don't have a tutorial  but there are plenty out there in blogland and they really are easy to make.
You can see in these two pics how he 'drives' through the park!
The plane and banner are PTI and the round sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.
You can check out the rest of the wonderful cards from the PFP team here.
Have a lovely day, everyone,

Sketch N Stash Challenge 131

Hi there peeps.  I've not been around this weekend as we had a whirlwind visit to the Lake District to visit Nick's brother and to meet our new little great-nephew, Henry, (who is a little love!) and to bring MIL home from her stay up there.  Luckily, I was a little more organised than usual and had this card ready for today's new challenge over at Sketch N Stash.
This is the sketch we're using, and as we're being sponsored by Stitchy Bears, the DT were given some fab images to work with - I love this cute little Boo Boo Bear, don't you!
I've coloured him with my Promarkers, and used some papers from a DCWV Linen Closet pad.  The die around the image is a Spellbinders one and the little bows on the edge of the lace topped panel is a Magnolia die - Edwin!  The flowers are a mix of a Marianne Die and a some punches, and the heart is Joy Craft die.
I think my papers are my oldest item used, and the heart die the newest!
My lovely teamies over on SNS have got some wonderful makes to share with you using other  Stitchy Bears digital images so do pop on over here and give them some love!
I'm only working four days this week, as I'm off to Sandown on Friday with bestie Lesley - really looking forward to that!
Hope you all have a good week!
