I made this little guy into a card a few weeks ago with lots of ocean themed dies, mostly from Marianne Designs (full list below).  He's called  Pirate, funnily enough, and can be found here at Mo's Digital Pencil with some great cheesy joke sentiments which I wish I had also used!!

Tracy Easson Mermaid

Something a little  bit different today using a Tracy Easson Angel of Love and Light along with some Lavinia stamps . I've stamped her on some inky backgrounds that I made with brushos and Distress Oxides.  I hadn't intended to make an underwater scene but once I'd stamped her (and using White Embossing powder ) I felt she had a bit of a mermaid feel to her with her flowing hair so I went with it!  I've then coloured her with my alcohol markers which have added to her other-worldly feel!

I stamped most of the  plants and fish in Versafine Clair Twilight ink and then used some Posca pens and gold and white highlighter to add detail.

Finally, I've stamped some words from the vairous Angel sets that I have, agian with white embossing powder and fixed them in place with foam pads.

As I said, a little bit different but I do kinda  like it!!

Tim Holtz Floral Dies with Marianne Stitched Frames

I made a few quick cards really using these fabulouis dies from  Tim Holtz for Sizzix.

They weren't what I intended when I started out - originally I was using some hand made backing papers but then decided they would be better on projects where they were more on show.  So  I used some papers from The Works - a big 12x12 pad called Vintage Basics  and so cheap too!

I then got out my stitched frames from Marianne Designs to cut out the circle apertures.  I'd intedded to lay some die-cut flowers across the apertures but remembered I  had thse thinlet dies from years ago and they fitted within the circle perfectly.

These are the details for the Marianne Stitched frames- great because you get one set of stitches on the frame and one on the cut out piece, lovely detail.  I've also listed the square and oval versions for you.

Round - CR1360
Rectangle - CR1390
Square - CR1359
Oval - CR1467

I then added the sentiments and done!  I made a fair few of these for all sorts of occasions.

Say It Ain't So from Mo's Digital Pencil

I think this card should be titled Say It Aint So as it  still hasn't been delivered after 5 weeks with a first class stamp on it!!  So I've decided to post it online just so my friend can see what  her card looked like!!

It was for my lovely friend Lesley with just a very simple design,  the image is Say It Ain't So from Mo's Digital Pencil, the papers are My Mind's Eye and the sentiment is from Woodware.

Not blaming our postie as he's lovely but come on Royal Mail!!

Use 3 or more papers at Passion for Markers

I'm a little late posting today - I've had a  problem with broken eggs this morning!!   Anyway, my card today  is for our new challenge at Passion for Markers with a fabulous challenge to use three or more papers  - my kind of challenge!  I've used four papers from the Prima Introspection  pad.  My image is a Stamping Bella image - Brianna Butterfly.  I coloured her and then matched her up with the papers - a big no-no but it worked for me on this occasion!!

A few Marianne goodies used as per below - it's always good to mix and match your die sets - the oval die  from the lacy border set I wanted to use was a bit too small for the image so I found the pierced oval in another set which was just perfect!

Marianne Products Used

Pierced Edge Oval die - LR0376
Lacy Border Oval Die set - CR1446
Lace Border Die Set - LR0637

You can check out the makes of my teamies here and then do come and play along - we have a stunning prize from Dies To Die for!!

Tracy is offering one lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in her online store.

A little Water colouring with Keeper of The Stars Floobert

Another card with the wonderful Tracy Easson Illustration stamps.  I fancied a bit of water colouring and stamped him onto some previously made backgrounds using brushos.

I've  coloured him with my Arteza Watercolour Brush Pens - taking the colours from those already on the background piece.  I've added some freehand doodling to the edges and added some more star stamps that came with another stamp set from Tracy-   Just a Girl and Her Forever Friend.  I've had the teeny glass bottles in my stash for ages and added a little glitter before sealing with the tiny cork they come with.  Perfect for Floobert!  The wishes stamp tag comes with Floobert.

I've cut out the star from a take-away coffee cup heat band and there's a little more behind the image. A blue star button and some white and gold gel pen and Floobert was good to go!

Check out Tracy's Etsy shop here - pure delight and wonderment awaits you!

Lavinia Winter Stag

This is the card I made for our son at Christmas - he left it here so don't know what that says - he'll be getting it again next year though!!  :) :)   All Lavinia stmaps apart from the sentiment which is from Cat's Life Press.

It's still so cold and wintery here although the sun has been gorgeous and we've had some lovely walks along our lane looking over onto the awesome snow-capped fells here in the Lake District.  The snow in my card isn't quite right but I still love it!

A little blue colouring

I fancied a bit of blue colouring yesterday - I've used a mixture of Copics, Promarkers and Shinhan Touch alcohol markers.  This little lovely is Harvest Mercy,  from Mo's Digital Pencil - fabulous to colour  and I love her hat!

I've then kept the rest of my card really simple, with a Martha Stewart punched border and a PTI sentiment.

Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday - still bitterly cold here but the sun is shining which makes all the difference.

Morty and Margareet Bottoms

Another stamp from Tracy Easson Illustrations - It Was Written In The Stars - featuring Morty and Margareet Bottoms!  Love!!  It would make a fab Valentine's card -except the hubster and I don't send them anymore! Think I may use this as a wedding card- I'll add the sentiment when I decide - the stamp also comes with lots of suitable fab words and phrases.

The papers are Botanical from Prima and the Wonky Stitched Frame is MFT .  There are also a couple of Marianne Products in there, as below.

Marianne Products Used

Decorative Oval frame set - LR0670
Fern Leaves - LR0403

It's also the first time in ages that I've used some flowers to decorate but I felt the need for some spring!!

Have a great week, and thanks for visiting.
