Shiny and New Grandma Card for Passion for Promarkers Anything Goes 10th Anniversary Challenge

Sorry I've not posted this earlier but I wasn't sure if my sister had received it!  She has recently become a Grandma to Theo and I'm so thrilled for her and her family - happy days!  It's also the 10th Anniversary of the Passion for Promarkers challenge - wow, and I think I've been on the team for most of that time!  (Tells you what a lovely lot they are!)

Both teams have joined together for this challenge and we have a host of fantastic prizes - see below.

My image is Shiny and New from Mo's Digital Pencil and is just perfect with this sentiment from a Marianne set.  The ribbon frame and label are also from Marianne designs - the label is actually the smallest die in the set - details below.

Moon Baby from Mo's Digital Pencil

Today's card was made for the newest addition to our family, our great-nephew, Theo, who was born to Hannah and James on May 4th!
I'd already made the card as Love You to The Moon and Back is a very special sentiment for my sister and her family so Moon Baby from Mo's Digital Pencil was just perfect! But then he was born overdue and born on Star Wars Day so just wanted to add War into the sentiment but didn't!
The sentiment is PTI but pretty much everything else was from Marianne Designs, full details below.

List of Marianne Products used

Star Circle - CR1447
Star Flourish - CR1294
Letter Garland Dies - LR0340

Lavinia Fairies for my magical girl!

It was our Holly's birthday earlier this week and she's such a nature girl, I thought she would love a Lavinia scene - this could be her and Violet!!

I made the background with Distress Oxides and then coloured in with my Arteza waterbrush pens.  I've then added some Distress Oxides for the ground and edging.

I meant to stamp the blessings words stamp before I added the fairies and flowers etc but forgot but  instead I stamped it on after with Memory Box London Fog so it still has that faded into the background!

I'm also entering my card into this month's Lavinia challenge where the theme is Make It Bright.

Passion for Promarkers - Summer is Coming challenge

Just nipping on quickly while Grandy is occupying Violet who we've had overnight while Holly had a night away for her birthday - camping mind you but she says it's been wonderful and the weather is so fabulous it was perfect timing!

Anyway, our new challenge at PFP starts today with a theme of Summer is Coming and what says Summer more than the sea and mermaids right!  This gorgeous image is Mermaid and Baby and is one of many beautiful images from A Day for Daisies, our sponsors this week!

Funny, I was pleased with this card until I put it together and now, hhmm - wish I'd done the top part differently but there you go. I just love this border from Marianne though so went with it - full list of Marianne products used below:

Lacy edged Circle - CR1331
Scroll Border - CR1442
Oyster Shell - CR1407
Coral Leaves - CR1406
Leaves - LR0229/LR0571

As I said, our sponsors are the fabulous A Day for Daisies, and the DT have been lucky enough to work with lots of their images - check them out here.
The lucky winner will be given a voucher to spend in ADFD online store so come and join in the challenge!

Baby Fairy Daffodil

I know this is a bit late for Easter but still great for a spring card!  This little cutie is Baby Fairy Daffodil from Mo's Digital Pencil of course!
It's a very simple card for me but I love these papers so didn't want to cover them over.  The stitched frame die is from Marianne - CR1467 from their April 19 release - and the daffodil is also Marianne - LR0399.

Have a great weekend peeps!

Mo Ballet Practice Girl

I'm a real ballet fan and did quite a lot when I was much, much younger - but not now!!  However,  I love this image, Ballet Practice,  from Mo's Digital Pencil, it's so elegant!   She's just perfect too for the new challenge starting today at Mo's DP2 challenges where the theme is always Anything Goes but we also have an optional theme of  For The Girls and she is just perfect for that!
I've added some Shabby White Frantage to the wooden ballet dancer and corner flourish, and the papers are Maja Designs.  And of course a few Marianne dies have sneaked in there!

My kind of challenge - thanks to our lovely Lisa for choosing it!  Lots of layers means lots of die cuts for me and there is a list of all the Marianne Dies I used below:

Hobby Art flowers

Something a bit different from me today - this is the card we made at the Hobby Art make and take at Farnborough Make It show back in February.  I think this is one of the nicest make and takes I've done at a show.

It's coloured with their watercolour brushes  and I love the touches of gold paint to finish off.  I'm trying to find some time to make some more cards like this but got so many others to do first!  Still, it's raining here which is much needed, so I'm going to spend the rest of the day in my craft room!
Enjoy your weekend whatever you're doing!

I know Easter is over but bunnies are not just for Easter right!!  This is Mud Room Girl from Mo's Digital Pencil and it so reminds me of our Violet who is always putting on and pulling off her wellies as she comes into the house!

I love this new bunny die from Marianne too -details below.  The die cuts go perfectly with the papers from Pebbles Inc.  The sentiment is by PTI and I always have a cheery sort of day with Violet!!

Valerie Bunny

With Easter just about here, I thought I'd share  Valerie Bunny with you - such a cutie from Mo's Digital Pencil.  The papers are so yummy and I think from Crafts Too.  The image has been cut out with a Stitched Oval die from Marianne Designs and the Easter sentiment is also from Marianne although it is quite an old one.

The flowers are some wooden ones from my stash and I added some Craft Confetti to the middles.

The weather is glorious here at the minute so we'll be having an egg hunt in the garden followed by firing up the BBQ - enjoy your weekend!

Patterned Paper at Passion for Promarkers

Morning - it's time for our new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and I'm the host for this week!  So I've chosen one of my favourite things to be in the challenge - Patterned Papers!  So dust off your paper pads, lay out your Promarkers and set to!
We're being sponsored by All Dressed Up digi stamps for the challenge and they really do have some of the most gorgeous images - I've chosen Butterfly Wings to work with and teamed her up with some Tonic Studio papers that are so pretty.

I've cut out my image with a stitched circle die from Marianne and the butterflies are from a Build -a -Butterfly new Collectables set from Marianne too, details below:

Butterfly set - COL1466 - NEW!
Stitched Circle die - CR1360

The sentiment is one I've had an age and I curved it slightly on the acrylic block so it followed the lines of the circle edge - I think it could be either Penny Black or Hero Arts but I've not got the packaging!

As I said we're being sponsored by All Dressed Up for this challenge and they're offering the lucky winner of our challenge 2 digi images.  So come and join in the challenge to be in with a chance of winning - I look forward to visiting your blogs to see your creations.

All Dressed Up stamps

And don't forget to check out the fabulous makes of my teamies here - it's so lovely to see how we've used the same image and the different makes that they've made - fabulous!

The challenges at Mo's Digital Pencil are back!!

Yes, I hope you're doing a happy dance - we've had lots of requests to bring back the monthly challenges for Mo's Digital Pencil and so our first one starts today with an optional theme of Spring.  The Digital Pencil Too challenge blog is here if you'd like to see the inspiration from the Dream Team and a couple of special guest designers!  And come and join in - you could be a guest designer on a future challenge!!

I've actually used a retiring image - Easter Carly - but she's still in the store at the minute so click on the link and grab her while you can!!

My papers are Maja Design and other than that I've kept it very simple - I'm not sure who the lattice die is by sorry - I've lost the packaging!

Happy Saturday everyone!!
