PFP Dies and Punches

Today's card is for our new challenge at Passion for Promarkers with a fab theme chosen by Marie of Dies and Punches - I do love me a die!!
The image is from Mo's Digital Pencil - Carry The Cake - and is just perfect set in the centre of these little cake box segments made with a die from Marianne Designs!
The little rolled flower comes with the box die but the candles are from another Marianne set  and fits perfectly into the rolled flower which I've used as a candle holder. (Details of Marianne goodies below).
The boxes open too and make lovely little gift boxes for lovely little gifts which is exactly what I used my whole 'cake' for.  So easy to make up too - the segment is all cut with one die and then there is just a little folding and sticking!

Marianne Products Used
Cake Die Set - CR1462
Candle Dies from Candle Bridge set - CR1427

Our fab sponsors this week are Crafty Sentiments Designs who are offering the lucky winner three digi images of their choice -wow!

I hope you like our theme and come and join in the challenge at PFP.  More inspiration from my teamies are also on the PFP blog here.

Gillie from Mo's Digital Pencil in February 20 Making Cards Magazine

Now that the new March edition of Making Cards Magazine is out here in the UK, I can share my cards that were featured in the magazine last month, for Mo's Digital Pencil.

This is the gorgeous Gillie sitting on her rock in the sea - I think it must have been during Storm Dennis by the look of her hair blowing everywhere!  You can find her here in Mo's store.

The Papers are Prima - Alla Prima, I think,  and the wildflower dies are from a Tim Holtz Wildflower set but I can't remember off had which set!

That's all for now from me.

Happy Tuesday!

PFP Photo Inspiration Challenge Fairy Godmother

Morning folks.  Today's card is for the new challenge over on Passion for Promarkers with a fabulous photo inspiration chosen by our lovely Lisa.
No photo description available.
Isn't that a beautiful picture!  I've chosen the pink and gold colours for the main inspiration for my card which I've made using a favourite image from Mo's Digital Pencil -  Godmother.

The image and sentiment (which comes with the image) have been cut with an MFT Die set - Wonky Stitched Rectangles and I've also used the following Marianne Designs Products.

Marianne Products Used

Brocante Winter A5 papers by Marianne Designs - PK9165 - Love these!!
Circle of Stars die set by Marianne Designs - CR1447

Feeling Blue? Here's a Peeking Sloth!

Another blue card from me today - love Peeking Sloth - looks like he's partied out already!  You can find him here in Mo's Digital Pencil store. The sentiment die is an oldish one from Memory Box but  think this little guy looks perfect slumped over the edge!!

He's really great value for money too as he comes without the pressie and accessories and with a couple of sentiments!!

Hope it doesn't get too windy where you are today!

Mona - for Digital Pencil Too challenge starting today

I'm absolutely having a blue period in my cards at the moment, thanks to the fabulous Faye Wynn- Jones, who used this colour palette on Facebook recently - I love it!!  Something else I love is Mona from Mo's Digital Pencil and she is for the new challenge over on the Digital Pencil Too challenge blog which is all about the Love!!
Some fabulous new Marianne goodies too for February including the frame and the sprigs, details below.
Oval Lace Frame - CR1500 - NEW!
Twigs - CR1449 - NEW!
Mini Tag and Sentiment set - CS1029

Eagle-eyed Mo fans may spot that the lollipop is a bit on the large side - but this is because I coloured the original so badly that I had to print off the image again and die cut the lolly to cover up my mistake!  I think I got away with it!

Oh and I coloured the blue bow made of String in the same blue tones to match!

New Baby, New Grandma

I chose a LOTV image for this card for a special friend who has just become a Nanny for the first time - and left it quite clean and simple too! I do love the way he is peeking round the side of his buggy!

The papers are first edition and the sentiment comes from a great set of stamps for babies from Marianne Design - EC0170, picture below.

Image result for EC0170 Marianne designs
And then I just finished it off with a bit of doodling and the tag which came with the paper pad.

Thanks for popping by!

Cupcake Monster - perfect for your little Monsters!

It's my turn to host this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers and I've gone with a nice, easy theme of  Children - so can be an image of a child or a card for a child!  I've clearly gone with a card for a child using the Cup Cake Monster from Mo's Digital Pencil.  You can use him with or without the candle holders  too or you could just use them on their own! And you get the sentiment thrown in!

I've used some old papers that have been in my stash for a while, details below.

WRMK Anthologie Papers
Dovecraft Funky Vintage Papers
Dinosaur Die set - Hobbycraft

Our generous sponsor this week is All Dressed Up stamps and they are offering one lucky winner 2 digi images of their choice from their store.
Looking forward to seeing your makes!

Not Just for Christmas

There's nothing like being able to repurpose a crafty item for an occasion other than the one it was intended for!  This image is a new one from Mo's Digital Pencil and she's called Warm Christmas and I think intended for those folk who don't live in colder climes and maybe spend Christmas on the beach!  But I've used her here for best matey's birthday card as she works equally well as a spring/summer fairy!!

And another - the die cut flowers (the smaller petals) are actually a new die set from just before Christmas from Marianne Designs and they're actually a small poinsettia set but I think they reflect the flower kisses that our girl is blowing!!  Full list of Marianne goodness below, including this fabulous new border die set!

Marianne Products Used

Border die set - LR0637 - NEW!
Frame die set - LR0376
Large Flower Die set -CR1493 - NEW!
Small Poinsettia Flower Die set - CR1478
Sentiment from Group Hugs stamp set - CS1011

And the papers are from a Recollection book that was intended for journalling but I just liked the papers so have repurposed those as well!

Delighted to have some cards using Mo's Digital Pencil Fairy images in the February edition of Making Cards Magazine here in the UK.   A little sneak peek here of one of my cards!

Woodware Monsters Stamp

I bought this stamp from Woodware a while ago but this is my first time of colouring it up - perfet though for my great nephew's 5th birthday!

I also managed to use some really old 12 x 12 papers from Basic Grey that I had - so think I did quite well in using stuff in my stash!!

Little Match Girl - red version

Just realised I hadn't posted this card using Mo's Match Girl, this time coloured in red. I just love her!

The layout is fairly similar to the green version that I posted here before Christmas. This time I've used the free-standing candles from Marianne Designs rather than the candle bridge, details below

Double Stitched Oval Die  - CR1467
Candle Die set - CR1425

Have a great weekend whatever you're up to.
