Winter Fairy Talva

I fancied making a fairy card, so chose this awesome Mo Manning fairy Winter Fairy Talva.  I love the icicles on her wings!  I've followed this week's sketch over on Sketch Saturday and to mirror the 3x3 background design, I used a Snowflake Mask by That Special Touch and spritzed with Lavender Fields Glimmer Mist.
The snowflakes around the edge are from an Inkadinkadoo winter set and you might just be able to see the glitter I've added to the snowball - I hope her lips aren't frozen!!
The four corner snowflakes are cut with a Marianne Die and mirror almost exactly the shape of the flakes from the mask - I've also cut them from DCWV glittered paper, as is the Spellbinder frame around the image.
I think the sentiment is Personal Impressions and I know that it is punched out with a Stampin Up label punch.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:

Sketch Saturday - Sketch
Simon Says Stamp - Glimmer and Sparkle
Fab N Funky - no patterned paper
Flutterby Wednesdays - Sparkle (and a Fairy!)

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit!!

Passion for Promarkers - For a Male

Today's card is for our latest challenge at Passion for Promarkers and we want to see a card for a Male.
As A Day for Daisies have this gorgeous freebie at the minute, to use if you want to join in their current challenge of Anything Goes. (It's for my Dad, whose birthday is this week and he's a bit of a twitcher!! - hope he doesn't see this as his birthday is Thursday!)
The card blank is a new one style from Craftwork cards, so easy having the shape already cut in the centre of the card for easel styles!

My papers are Prima Reflections, the Tree branches were cut with a Tim Holtz On The Edge Die the label dies are Go Create, the main image dies are Nesties, and the music notes are both Memory Box.

This week's challenge is being sponsored by the fabulous Letraset and you could win a set of their yummy Promarkers!

Do pop on over here to take a peek at the rest of the cards made this week by my PFP teamies.

Challenges I'm entering:

A Day for Daisies - Anything Goes

Passion for Promarkers - Clean And Simple

Hi all - hope you all enjoyed your weekend.  I had such a lovely day on Saturday with best matey Lesley - we went to the Stampin Up demonstration and it was so fabulous to meet one of my teamies on Mo'sDream Team - Debby4000!  She was there demonstrating lots of lovely SU goodies-lots of fab ideas and beautiful cards! Not only that, I've just had an email from Nikki, whose demo it was, to say I've won the free prize draw!!  Can't wait to see what I've won!!

Now, onto today's card and it's for the new challenge at PFP, with a theme chosen by our lovely Coops - CAS. Well, I really had to restrain myself from adding a flourish here and an embellie there, but I did it!!
My card is made using this gorgeous Mo image called Alice With Present and Bow - love her CAS but I think she could just as easily be used for Christmas with lots of papers and Christmas embellies!
The frame is cut with my new Marvellous Squares Nestie set and the sentiment is Paper Trey Ink.

This week's challenge is being sponsored by Joanna Sheen with a fantastic £10 voucher on offer to spend in the online store.

The rest of team one's makes can be found here - do take a peek at them, you won't be disappointed.  Hope you will play along too - I shall look forward to visiting!!

Mo's Snow Day

The Christmas cards just keep on coming - this is Mo Manning's Snow Day.  I love this image, it reminds me of the little Snow Baby figures that I get out with my Christmas decorations each year.
As you can see, I made an easel card. and added a few Memory Box Twiggy Trees and Snow Flurry Corners.  The snowflakes are a Marianne Creatable die.

I've coloured with my flex and promarkers, as always, and added some stickle glue for his fur trim.
The pom pom edging, was I think from the Ribbon Girl and the Sentiment is Lili of the Valley.

The little snowballs are from stash and I'm giving some away with my Candy so do sign up!!

Passion for Promarkers - Feeling Fruity!

It's my turn to choose the theme for this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers and it's Feeling Fruity - either depicted in your image/papers or fruity colours!
As you can see, I've gone with this yummy Mo Manning Image, Bite?, love her expression!
The papers are K&Co, and the tree is a combo of Memory Box dies - Twiggy Tree and the matching leaf mound.  I've then added  some green pearls to look like apples!!
The flower border is another Memory Box die, Spring Border which I cut first in green and then in the pinky purple paper which I overlaid on top of the green version.  The dark green grass is actually an icicle border but not sure about it now!

This week's fab sponsor is Bugaboo and the lucky winner gets 7 digi images from their great range!

My awesome PFP teamies have also made some gorgeous Fruity creations to share with you here!
