New Baby, New Grandma

I chose a LOTV image for this card for a special friend who has just become a Nanny for the first time - and left it quite clean and simple too! I do love the way he is peeking round the side of his buggy!

The papers are first edition and the sentiment comes from a great set of stamps for babies from Marianne Design - EC0170, picture below.

And then I just finished it off with a bit of doodling and the tag which came with the paper pad.

Thanks for popping by!

Cupcake Monster - perfect for your little Monsters!

It's my turn to host this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers and I've gone with a nice, easy theme of  Children - so can be an image of a child or a card for a child!  I've clearly gone with a card for a child using the Cup Cake Monster from Mo's Digital Pencil.  You can use him with or without the candle holders  too or you could just use them on their own! And you get the sentiment thrown in!

I've used some old papers that have been in my stash for a while, details below.

WRMK Anthologie Papers
Dovecraft Funky Vintage Papers
Dinosaur Die set - Hobbycraft

Our generous sponsor this week is All Dressed Up stamps and they are offering one lucky winner 2 digi images of their choice from their store.
Looking forward to seeing your makes!

Not Just for Christmas

There's nothing like being able to repurpose a crafty item for an occasion other than the one it was intended for!  This image is a new one from Mo's Digital Pencil and she's called Warm Christmas and I think intended for those folk who don't live in colder climes and maybe spend Christmas on the beach!  But I've used her here for best matey's birthday card as she works equally well as a spring/summer fairy!!

And another - the die cut flowers (the smaller petals) are actually a new die set from just before Christmas from Marianne Designs and they're actually a small poinsettia set but I think they reflect the flower kisses that our girl is blowing!!  Full list of Marianne goodness below, including this fabulous new border die set!

Marianne Products Used

Border die set - LR0637 - NEW!
Frame die set - LR0376
Large Flower Die set -CR1493 - NEW!
Small Poinsettia Flower Die set - CR1478
Sentiment from Group Hugs stamp set - CS1011

And the papers are from a Recollection book that was intended for journalling but I just liked the papers so have repurposed those as well!

Woodware Monsters Stamp

I bought this stamp from Woodware a while ago but this is my first time of colouring it up - perfet though for my great nephew's 5th birthday!

I also managed to use some really old 12 x 12 papers from Basic Grey that I had - so think I did quite well in using stuff in my stash!!

Little Match Girl - red version

Just realised I hadn't posted this card using Mo's Match Girl, this time coloured in red. I just love her!

The layout is fairly similar to the green version that I posted here before Christmas. This time I've used the free-standing candles from Marianne Designs rather than the candle bridge, details below

Double Stitched Oval Die  - CR1467
Candle Die set - CR1425

Have a great weekend whatever you're up to.

Saved Herself

Morning folks and Happy Saturday!  I love this image from Mo's Digital Pencil - partly because of the expression on her face and also because of the sentiment that comes with it!!   This is Saved Herself and doesn't she just look the business!

The dies are all Marianne, list below, and the papers are from Prima.

Oval Lace Frame Die - CR1446
Gates Die - LR0613
Book Die - LR0253

I used half of the book die for the sentiment and  cut the actual page by hand using the die as a guide.  Oh, and the cutlass is a really old Quickcutz die ( I think!).

Have a great weekend everyone - we have Emily and her partner, Jack, back home for a few days to celebrate her 25th birthday!  Can't believe she's 25!!

A little bit of Mixed Media

Something a bit different from me today - using an inky background made with Distress Oxides, and then stamped using a Prima stamp, and some Marianne Mixed Media Stamps -the splodges (Tiny Mixed Media stamps - Watercolour, MM1615,  and the butterflies, (Tiny's Butterflies 2 - MM1614).

I've then punched out lots of tiny flowers and butterflies from the same background papers and finished off with a little Stickles at the centre of each flower.

New Year New Baby Card

My first post for 2020 so Happy New Year everyone and appropriately perhaps, I've a new baby card for you using Jessie from Mo's Digital Pencil. I kept things fairly simple with just a couple of die cuts from Marianne Design (Duck Rattle LR0307  and Safety Pin LR0217).

The sentiments with dies and stamps are all from Paper Trey Ink.

We intend to our decorations down today - it's nice to get back into normal routines and make non-Christmas themed cards.  Having said that I feel determined to make at least one Christmas card a week so that I don't have the mad rush at the end of the year - watch this space!!
