Passion for Promarkers - New Challenge Summer Time Blues

Howdy y'all!   Another DT card from me today and it's for our new challenge at Passion For Promarkers and our fabbie Lisa has chosen a theme Blue and one other colour.  I can't quite decide whether my one other colour is white or the tan/beige of string border!
I've used this naughty little minx from  Kenny K- has to be one of my faves and great for men's cards!

The Promarker Blues that I used are Reef Blue, Capri Blue and Stonewash, while for her skin my combo lately  is Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Baby Pink for cheeks, and Blush and Ivory.
I used a Fiskars punch around the page set for the border, and then made my  own weathered wood background paper with a wood grain Impression Obsession stamp using Weathered Wood Distress Ink.   The star strips are a Memory Box die and the Dude stamp is from PTI (the whole thing says, Dude , You  Rock, but I didn't want the last bit!)

Our sponsor for this week's challenge is Whiff of Joy and the lucky winner will win a stamp of their choice!

As always, the team at PFP have made some  fabulous samples for you, so check them out here!

Sketch N Stash Challenge 118

We're back from our 4 week summer break over at Sketch N Stash and we have a lovely sketch for you from our back catalogue which you can see below.  We also have an optional theme of Birthday Wishes although I needed to make an anniversary card, so didn't go with the theme this time. I rotated the sketch to suit the image I wanted to use which is a newish rubber stamp from Lili of the Valley.  My papers are Moulin Rouge from Prima and have been in my stash for a while
I've coloured the image with my Promarkers and then added copious amounts of Aged Wine Frantage.

The little tags are  from the new Grunge range from Lili of the Valley - the Le Jardin set. The rest of the bits and pieces are from stash.

Our fabulous sponsor for this challenge is Fred She Said Designs and they're offering a super prize of a  $10  voucher to spend in their store.

Don't forget to check out the DT team's gorgeous creations here and I hope we get to see you play along with us over the next fortnight.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:

Totally Papercrafts - Use Fabric Lace
Crafty Ribbons - Anything with a Ribbon

Basic Grey Make a Tag

Where has the week gone!! Super excited today as we're meeting our new great-niece Isabella for the first time!!  Let's hope the rain stays off!

On to our new challenge over at Basic Grey Challenges, and we want you to Make a Tag, as long as you use a Basic Grey Product, we'd love you to play along with us!
I've  used Nook and Pantry papers and they seemed perfect to go with this What's Cookin image from Mo Manning.  I thought the tag would be perfect to add to an edible gift, preferably home-made, though don't hold your breath for me to put my pinny on!!

I've coloured her with my Promarkers and cut her out with a Nestie labels die, as I did the sentiment which is from Stampin Up. The flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the rest of the goodies are from stash.

As always, we have the fabulousSimon Says Stamp   with us as our regular sponsor, and with a fabulous $25 going to one lucky entrant!

Just remember to  use a Basic Grey product and let us know what that product is! Oh, and check out the fabulous tags from the rest of the BG team here.

Thanks from Mo's Digital Pencil!

Hi there, this little cutie is of course a Mo Manning digi cutie, called Thanks!, which you can find here in Mo's store.  As you can see I've been quite liberal with the frantage though I quite like the shabby vibe!
The wreath and border are both Memory Box dies - Catalina Wreath and Catalina Border and I then cut out the flowers in blue card to make them look like flowers! The background postcard is from the new grunge sets at Lili of the Valley (love this range) and the little tags are also LOTV.
The large blue flower is one I made quite a while  ago and the colours were perfect for this card!
I know I've not been commenting much recently and I'm so sorry, just too much going on in life, and it's also far too hot!!!!

Mo's Digital Pencil July Blog Hop

Woohoo, it's time to hop again with Mo's Dream Team and we have a fabulous colour theme of Pink chosen by our lovely Pops!! You should have arrived here from Kerttu's Blog, who I'm sure had gorgeous pretty pink creation to share with you but if you want to start at the beginning, head on back to Pop's blog.
For my card, I've actually used three images which can be used together or separately, and they are Caitlin, Henna and Molly.  My papers are from a First Edition Roses pad, and the window and curtains are cut with Poppy Stamp dies. The flowers were cut with a Britannia die and layered up with some leaves and pearls.
These three together remind me so much of  a photo of me and my sisters together at a very young age, that I couldn't resist using them as a trio as Mo had intended they could be.  I was so proud of myself too, that I managed to merge them but think that I may not have needed to as I cut the top half of them out anyway!!

And a sideways view - don't you just love Henna's fluffy kitty slippers!

Your next stop on the hop is to the blog of the wonderful Debby Y  but in case you need it, the order of the hop is below (you can find the links to each DT member's blog in my side bar!

Pops, Jak, Gretha, Kerttu, Julie, Debby.Y, Heidy, Alice, Vili, Alexandra, Anneke, Danielle, Kaly, Mina

Don't forget to leave a comment as you visit each blog as there will be two $5 dollar vouchers to spend at Mo's Digital Pencil hidden somewhere along the way and one could be yours!!!
Happy Hopping!

Passion for Promarkers Create A Scene

We have a new challenge for you today over on Passion For Promarkers with a theme of Create a Scene as chosen by our fabulous Lou!   I've used this stunning Mo Manning image called Baby Fairy Butterfly Two which you can find here in Mo's Digital Pencil.  If you look really close at the next image you can maybe just see the cloud background behind her which I did with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and a duster brush.

I've also used a Memory Box border die for the horizon trees and house, along with a Viola floral die and Puffy Clouds.  The fence is a Tim Holtz Die, the little birdie is a Marianne die and the sentiment is from LOTV. The papers are from  Prima.

Our fabulous sponsor this week is DigiStamp Boutique and one lucky winner will receive 6 digi images of their choice.

Don't they match the flowers in her hair and bouquet perfectly!!

The purple flower is a PTI die and centred with a vintage button and the sentiment is Lili of the Valley.

Wedding card

This was the card I made for my nephew's wedding back in May and had meant to post as part of the Passion For Promarkers  Anniversary challenge back then but life's events got in the way and I never got round to posting it.
I used a Lili of the Valley image from their True Love Art Pad - these are fantastic value and you get so many fab images ready for colouring with your alcohol markers!! I couldn't get a great picture of the card though so it looks a bit washed out -  I tried in all sorts of different lights and with all sorts of different settings on my camera!
The flowers circling the image are from Craftwork cards and you get all the petals ready die-cut ready for curling and layering up, with all the components sufficient for two wreath posies although I just used mine on as decoration on my card.
As you can see, I've had the frantage out on the flowers ! The rose border round the edge of the card is cut with a Fiskars punch - it's one of my most favourite punches - it's so easy to get the border!
I missed the wedding but by all accounts it was a fabulous country wedding in the Lake District with a Ceileidh and story telling and wellies!  Congratulations Kim and Joel!xxx

And, wow, wasn't the tennis fantastic - well done, Andy Murray!!
Happy Monday everyone!

Passion For Promarkers - Time!

Hello - another DT card from me today and this time it's for Passion For Promarkers and my challenge choice which is Time!  So it can be anything from using a a die cut clock or time in the sentiment, or a die charm or stamp - simples. I've used another fabulous Mo image called Yeehaw which you can find here - don't you just love his world-weary expression!

I've coloured him with a mix of Pro and Flex markers to match my Authentique Free Bird papers. The clock dial is of course the Weathered Clock die from Tim Holtz - one of my favourites and not used enough!.  The sentiment is Lili of the Valley and the bow is cut with a Dienamics die.

Our  sponsor for  this week's challenge is Letraset and one lucky winner will receive a Flex Marker 6 pack of pens - Yeehaw!!

Sketch N Stash -Matching Colours I am so late posting this!!!

Hi - I am so late posting this, but at least it will be on the right day!!  It's for the latest challenge over at Sketch N Stash with the optional theme of Matching Colours, and the sketch is below.

As you can see, I've rotated the sketch as it better fitted my Mo image called Perfection (click on the link to be taken to Mo's Digital Pencil).  I love this image, it is just so perfect for all the budding cupcake cooks and fans which are so popular now!

My matching papers are from an October Afternoon Modern Homemaker set and I've  frantaged the cake and the wooden spoon and cup to look like frosting!!

The flowers are mostly from Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is from a Kraftin Kimmie set.

Our sponsor for this challenge is My Mums Craft Shop

 - one lucky winner gets £10 to spend.

We are extending the challenge to  4 weeks for this challenge to allow for holidays - we will have some inspiration mid-way to  keep the creative juices flowing!  You can see the first lot of  DT cards here.

I'm back to work tomorrow after a few days off, I feel very refreshed and had a wonderful weekend away with my M&S girlies!xxxx
