Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone-let's hope for a better 2021.  This little guy from Mo's Digital Pencil needed a second outing from me - I last coloured him 5 years ago!!  He's called Cupcake Mouse and you can find him here in Mo's store.

The papers are from Authentique  and the sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink

A belated birthday card, using Crazy Birds

I'm still loving the Crazy Bird stamps and dies and even more so with this big Woodware sentiment.

I took my colour scheme from these Authentique papers and then added a little wooden moustache that I think I picked up in The Works.

That's all for now folks, enjoy your Sunday.

Passion for Promarkers Summer Loving

I'm keeping up with my summer theme at the minute and today we have a new challenge over on Passion for Promarkers and I chose a theme of Summer Loving- anything you love about summer. I love this Mo image Shucks, as it reminds me of a lovely summer's day we had with our youngest daughter a few years ago, picking veg!
My papers are from an Authentique pad called Genuine, the daisies are cut with a Memory Box die set and the tag is a heart shaped one by Magnolia.  And of course I've used my Promarkers and Flexmarkers to colour her.
Our sponsors for this challenge are Whiff of Joy and the lucky winner will get a stamp of their choice!

As always, my teamies have made some brill summer-inspired cards to share with you, so take a peek at them here.xx

Passion For Promarkers - Time!

Hello - another DT card from me today and this time it's for Passion For Promarkers and my challenge choice which is Time!  So it can be anything from using a a die cut clock or time in the sentiment, or a die charm or stamp - simples. I've used another fabulous Mo image called Yeehaw which you can find here - don't you just love his world-weary expression!

I've coloured him with a mix of Pro and Flex markers to match my Authentique Free Bird papers. The clock dial is of course the Weathered Clock die from Tim Holtz - one of my favourites and not used enough!.  The sentiment is Lili of the Valley and the bow is cut with a Dienamics die.

Our  sponsor for  this week's challenge is Letraset and one lucky winner will receive a Flex Marker 6 pack of pens - Yeehaw!!

You can see the rest of my teamies' makes here - lovely they are!!  I hope you'll be inspired to play along with us and I will definitely find some TIME to visit you and  your timely creations!!

Janey's Digi Designs Lupins!

I love tall blue flowery flowers!!  Haha - this is the gorgeous Lupin digi image from Janey's Digi Designs, and I knew it would be perfect for this lovely seed packet freebie image which I downloaded a long time ago and can't remember where from!  (Our resident gardening guru has reliably informed me that the seed packet images are actually Delphiniums - tall, blue flowery flowers!)

I coloured in the image using my Pro and Flexmarkers, and then made a frame with some Go Kreate dies.
I now have two new passions in my card making, Frantage, which I love and have a card coming up soon which I've given the full Frantage treatment, and making little resin embellies with embossing powders!  The little butterfly below was made with Wow! embossing powders and a Martha Stewart  Mould.

I've also added some leaf flourishes and butterflies for some interest and a Marianne basket just waiting to be filled with these gorgeous flowers!  The floral vine on the side was a new purchase from Ally Pally and is by Crafts Too.

Thanks for popping in - big love!!

Sketch N Stash- A sketch with a bit of girly and a bit of bling

Well, Monday is here again - just where did that weekend go?  I know part of mine was spent with our gorgeous great-nephew Sam, who was celebrating his first birthday - we had a lovely afternoon and he even played spin the bottle!!
This is my card for our new challenge at Sketch N Stash starting today.  We're using sketch no 4 from our back catalogue and if you like we have an optional theme of Girly and Blingy.
This fortnight's challenge is being sponsored by the wonderful Stamp Fairy and the team were also lucky enough to be given an image to play with, thank you Stamp Fairy!

I used one of the gorgeously cute Mimi with Teddy range which you can find here.  You will see that the sketch this week calls for two images and that 's the beauty of  using digi images, you can size them to suit, or even enlarge a part of the image to use, as I've done here.

The new items on my card are of course the image, and also the flower die which I bought at Sandown in January.  For the life of me I can't remember who the papers are by, so if you recognise them let me know!  The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and the little bow border is from a Magnolia die.

Don't forget to check out the makes from my fabulous SNS teamies - they are gorgeous!!
