Gnomes in Red Hats

Another gnome image - this time from Sheepski Designs - I've fallen in love with it and just makes me smile!
I made a couple of cards in this red colourway and I've also done a couple of others which I'll blog another time.

The papers are My Mind's Eye and the sentiment was a freebie from Making Cards Magazine last year I think! And colouring was with my Promarkers.

The next one is very similar but I've just used a border using a new Marianne Die - LR0635!

Happy Weekend everyone.

Christmas is Coming!!

It's Tuesday and that can only mean one thing - I have to finish painting our new kitchen!!  But first, it's time to tell you about our new challenge at  Passion for Promarkers with a nice, easy theme for  this time of year - Christmas is Coming!

I've used a merge of two Mo's Digital Pencil images  - Lula Fairy Doll here and Lula Christmas Elf clothing here - and the great thing is that the Christmas Elf clothing is a free bonus in the store!!  Very easy to merge too as I don't do anything to technical, just use an ancient version of Photoshop.

The papers are mostly Lili of the Valley NitWit Papers, Twas The Night and the snowflake papers are a cheap set I bought a few years ago from the Pound Shop!  The presents are an All Occasions die set and the sentiment is from a little set of various dies that I picked up in a local charity shop last week for 50p!!!  Of course there has two be a Marianne product or two - it's the law!!

Marianne Products Used

Wonky Squares  Dies - CR1375
Tree Dies - LR0556

This week we're being sponsored by Cowling & Wilcox who are offering one lucky winner a 6 pack of Promarkers (skin tones set 1).

Check out the gorgeous makes of my teamies here then come along and play - just remember to use your Promarkers, Flexmarkers etc!!

Off to put on my painting clothes now!

Blood Moon Lavinia

A break from Christmas cards today - this is a Lavinia stamp card I made back in the summer  and was inspired by some of the stunning Blood Moon nights we saw at the time.  I made the background initially with distress oxides then used an Inkylicious Moon stamp and a cloud mask before stamping the gorgeous Lavinia silhouette images.
It's a Violet day today today, so off to  collect her shortly - love Violet days!

PFP Challenge Clean and Simple

Morning blog land -it's Tuesday so it's new challenge day at Passion for Promarkers with a lovely theme of Clean and Simple as chosen by our lovely Lisa.

Now, you may know that I don't easily do Clean and Simple and so I'm quite pleased with my card  even though I have slightly cheated - scroll on down to see why!
I've used this beautiful digi image from Mo's Digital Pencil called Ragged Kelly and I've coloured her to match some fab new papers from Marianne Designs called Brocante Winter - PK9165 - they really are gorgeous!
And here is why I've cheated - I've used this new Folding Snowflake die set from Sizzix to adorn my card - had to use it!!  Sorry (not sorry!).

Introducing Oskar for my Dad's 80th

It was my Dad's 80th birthday a couple of weekends ago and this was the card I made for him using Introducing Oskar from Mo's Digital Pencil!  Dad can't quite believe he's 80 so Oskar's perplexed expression seemed quite appropriate!

Me and my sister Lu, and step-sister, Sam helping the old guy celebrate!!
Quite a straightforward design from me - think the thought bubble stamp is from Heidi Swapp!

Morning bloggers!  It's new challenge day at Passion for Promarkers and my turn to choose the challenge theme which is Autumn Colours.
Never used to be a fan of orange but I'm liking it more and more these days!
For my card I've used Elke and Bear from Mo's Digital Pencil- now I love this image and thought I'd used it more recently but when I checked it was nearly 5 years ago!  So I'm glad I've rectified that!

The papers are mostly Lucille from Basic Grey, the sentiment is from PTI, and the flowers and frame dies are from Marianne Designs, details below:

Circular lace edge Frame die - LR0457
Flowers - CR1430
Branches with apples dies from set - CR1374
