Wishing for Snow Boy

Today's card is made with another fab Mo Manning image called Wishing for Snow Boy.

I've coloured him with my Promarkers and then teamed him up with some favourite Marianne dies which are listed below.

A Beautiful Deer stamp from Chloe Stamps

I have fallen in love with this deer stamp from Chloe's Stamps and am rather pleased with how the card turned out which isn't too often I can tell you (I'm my harshest critic!)

I thought I'd also list the Promarker combo I used for a change as I'm rather bad at that.

For the image I used, Shale, Tawny Owl, Budding Rose, Tan, March Hare and Morning Mist.

For the dusky background I used, Midnight Blue, Twilight Sky, Hearth Stone, Grey Green and a little April Shower.

I've then used my blender pen to take out a little colour in places to give that slightly dappled look that I feel deers have!!

I've cut the image out already coloured using this beautiful frame die from Marianne, added the Holly leaves and some frantage!  The sentiment comes with the image which is lovely too and stamps beautifully,.

Dandelion Sympathy card

It's awful isn't it when you need to make a sympathy card and I've had to make too many this year!  This one was for a lovely lady with whom we shared  many happy, family occasions - our nieces' Nan from their other side of the family - RIP Diane.

I made the background with Distress Oxides and then used the dandelion stamp from Marianne designs along with the die which is very similar.  I chose the teal colours because that's the colour I always remember Diane wearing and looking fabulous!

Christmas is Coming at Passion for Promarkers

Yayyhh - it's my turn to choose the challenge at Passion for Promarkers and I've chosen Christmas as a theme - never too soon to get cracking on those Christ-mouse makes!!

I also adore this new bauble frame die from Marianne Designs (LR0560) and luckily framed my image perfectly!  I added some glitter card underneath but think a contrasting colour would show off the beautiful design better!  The tartan paper is the perfect matt and didn't really need a lot else - the little trees by the sentiment come with the bauble!!

Marianne Gnomes

I'm loving all the gnome stamps and dies that Marianne are bringing out this season and here's a card I made with a combination of the gnome stamps and lantern border.  I love the rustic feel of the beach fence too from their summer collection.  

I love their little cute faces! A full list of all the Marianne products used is below.  The star frame behind the image is actually the new star circle die but I cut it in half and it looks almost heart-like I think.

The Librarian for The Librarian!

It was hubby's birthday this week and this is my card for him using one of Mo's newest images The Librarian.  Perfect for Nick as that was his job before we moved up here to The Lakes.  Of course I'm not sure that he ever wore a green polka dot dress to work but who knows!

I've had this book-themed stamp set from Simon Says Stamps for ages and this sentiment fits the stealthy look on the The Librarian's face as she chooses her book!!

Did you also catch Mo's moniker on one of the books- I love that touch!!

The bookmark die is from Papertrey Ink, the little paper scroll is Marianne (LR0419) and the little library book label is a stamp I've had for years but can't remember who by!

We've got Violet today and tomorrow - little treasure that she is!!

Grace And The Owl from Mo's Digital Pencil

I just love these new folding frame dies from Marianne Designs - it's so easy to make a intricate looking card without too much effort!!  I've made a few for this Christmas so you'll see some more popping up here!

Harry's Birthday Card

Hi all - forgotten I'd not posted this card made for number one son's birthday (only son but he is still number one!!)

You may have seen on FB that Harry has been customising a Suzuki van that he bought so that he can travel further afield for his photography.  So, I made this card using a  VW die from Marianne designs (LR0359) and adapted it to the colours of Harry's van.  I added little pics of Harry and his beloved Coco - and the photo of the road they're travelling along is one of Harry's postcards of The Whinlatter forest which are now on sale in the Whinlatter shop!!

Gotta go now as I have a unexpected but perfectly timed craft date with a crafty friend!

Anything Goes at Passion for Promarkers

Good morning peeps- it's new challenge day at A Passion for Promarkers with s super easy theme of Anything Goes - I'm well into Christmas cards now (although I do have a couple of other cards to sort, including hubby's birthday card!!).  So, I chose this gorgeous image from our sponsor, A Day for Daisies - it's called Painted Mushroom Top and I think it makes a fab Christmas card.

I've used Tim Ranger enamel dots on the main image and also the die cut toadstools - photo below just to see the dimension you get.

Wedding card with box

I made this wedding card with matching box quite a while ago now and forgot to blogit so here it is! The image is from one of the old Art Pads from Lili of The Valley which I hear they're bringing back!  Yippee!!  I coloured this with my promarkers and the frame, tag and sentiment, and flourishes are Marianne - deets below!

Christmas Bauble with Fairy Lovely

It's an Anything But A Card challenge starting today over at a Passion for Promarkers so I've made a little bauble with Fairy Lovely from Mo's Digital Pencil.

It was quite hard to take a pic off as the light strip from my light box kept reflecting in her hair but it looks a little like a twinkly crown so it's ok!  There's also a bit of glitter and the little glitter balls in the bauble too!

My teamies at PFP have made some wonderful things for this week's challenge - so lovely to make something other than a card - thank you Sue!

Sassy!

I managed to find a little crafting time this week to make this little beauty- Sassy is the image from Mo's Digital Pencil and Sassy she is!  

The papers are My Mind's Eye and I just felt this OH EM GEE sentiment from a Mama Elephant set suited her perfectly.  The It's Your Birthday is a die/stamp combo from Paper Trey Ink which I layered onto sticky foam before die cutting to get the dimension.

We've had family visiting for the last couple of weeks and it's been just lovely, the house is so quiet tonight!  And Violet has just loved playing with all our great-nieces and nephews!
