Derby Girl - Mo's Digital Pencil

Hi folks - well I think my craft room purge is more or less done, which is just as well as I wanted a little play time this afternoon.

This is Derby Girl from Mo's Digital Pencil - full of character don't you think!

I love this new square frame die set from Marianne Dies - a new release this month (LR0692).  It has a fab intricate die with it too but I also love these edge dies from the set.

The papers are Happy Days from Echo Park and the speech bubble stamps and dies are a mix of a Heidi Swapp set and Stampin Up speech bubble dies.

Have a great weekend!

Lavinia Stag

A late Christmas card here using Lavinia Stamps and inky backgrounds!  Really liked how this one turned out which isn't alwasy the case!!

Back to cleaning the craft room - day three in progress!  Found loads of boxes with Christmas stuff that just might be useful so have managed to condense them down to around 4 (not including stamps/dies and papers)!

Good day to be doing it anyway - looks like the drizzle is set in for the day.

Tracy Easson - Just a Girl and Floobert

Morning!  I'm on day two of giving my craft room a good clean - euugh!!  I coloured up this beautiful little lady a few days ago though- she so reminds me of our Violet who "lives in Nature"  as she always tells us!!  She is though, another wonderful Tracy Easson stamp  - Just a Girl and her Forever Friend - including Floobert and the sign post, lots of words and accent stamps!

I coloured her with Promarkers and Copics, then made masks of them both and did a little background inking.  I paper-pieced her skirt which is the joy of physical stamps- in fact she now has about 6 skirts as I wasn't sure which paper to choose from this Maya Designs pack!

I've also used a little vintage ric-rac from my stash- it goes so well with the white pen work I did- it already had the dotty lines on it!!  I then did a bit of stippling along the hill dips and around the sign post .

Right better be off to carry on cleaning!!  Have a great day!

Hi folks - have you seen this gorgeous new image at Mo's Digital Pencil?  She's called Sadie with Apples - what a sweetie!!

I meant to take a picture of all the pens I coloured her with - Promarkers and Copics mostly but a few Shinhan Touch too!  Must have been around 40 of them!
The cut -out die is from Tim Holtz and the papers are Summer Picnic from Marianne Designs.

The weekend is nigh so hope you have a good one, and thank you for popping by.

Anything Goes at a Passion for Markers

It's new challenge day at Passion for Markers and we having an Anything Goes week!  Always a favourite and now you can use all sorts of markers, I'm sure we'll have lots of entries.

I've made my card using a stunning new image from Tracy Easson here on Etsy.  This image is the fabulous Lalliana Twinkle Toes!  Love the names and the back stories that Tracy creates around her image and they come so beautifully packaged with love and care.

You also get the little sentiment stamps in the set and they perfectly accent Lalliana.  The papers are a mix of Nitwit and Maja and the basket is an oldie but  a goldie from Marianne Designs (CR1209).  I then just added a little bit of vintage lace to finish off.

This week we're being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps with a fab $12 voucher up for grabs.

Check out the fab makes of my teamies here at PFM HQ.

Pin-Up in Purple

I think Pin Up is one of my favourite Mo's Digital Pencil image so I decided to give her an outing.  I also fancied a bit of purple and orange colouring!

The papers are a mix of Basic Grey Konnichiwa and Plumeria and the sentiment is a Stampin Up one. The whirly flowers  are a die from Cut-Ies.

Feeling a bit meh today, it's raining, and actually not sure that I even feel like crafting!  Might do a few housework jobs to try and feel motivated!
Hope you're coping ok with this horrible virus.

My Youngest's Birthday card!

It was my youngest daughter's birthday yesterday - cannot believe she is 26 - my baby!  She's been living at home for a while since before Christmas and so we were very lucky to be able to spend the day with her during lockdown!  For my card, I've used this beautiful new Wildflower Die set from Marianne Designs as it was so reminiscent of a walk we did last week picking dried stems from along the river side here.   I'd made the background myself using a gel plate, Distress  Oxides and Brushos and I cut the flowers out in neutral scripted and floral papers.

Here is the full list of Marianne products used.

Wildflower Dies - CR1529 - New!
Vase - LR0694 - New!
Foldable Fir Tree Dies - LR0685
Additional branch type stems - CR1499
Fern leaves- LR0403
Small tags Die/Sentiment set - CS1029

While I'm talking about Emily, just take a look at this fantastic wooden Dutch Peg Doll that she made me for my Christmas present.  She made some a while ago for a film coming out soon and I've been after her to make me one!  So thrilled and I'm going to look for vintage fabrics and trim to dress her.

Have a great week and stay safe!

New Challenge, new look , new pens!!

Exciting times over at a Passion for Promarkers - we are now a Passion for Markers!  Which means that you can now use any type of Marker on your make - Promarkers, Copics, Spectrum Noirs, Shinhan Touch - as long as it has marker in it's name!    We just felt it was time to open up the challenge as there are so many pens to choose from now and we want to see your creations on our challenge!!

And we have a fabulous easy challenge to kick off the new year - Birthdays!!  Chosen by our lovely Lisa, who also designed  all the new blog labels and winners badges etc to reflect the changes to the challenge.

I've chosen this super cute little boy image from Mo's Digital Pencil - Party Tots {Boy Box}. And I think this Open Star Fold die(CR1423) from Marianne Designs suits him perfectly!  I've coloured with my Promarkers and Copics to herald in the new era!

The sentiments are from PaperTrey Ink and the little cards are from Memory
Box.

Our fabulous sponsor this week is Lee Holland who is offering the lucky winner two digi images.

Hope you like all the changes!

Hugs, Julie

Happy New Year everyone-let's hope for a better 2021.  This little guy from Mo's Digital Pencil needed a second outing from me - I last coloured him 5 years ago!!  He's called Cupcake Mouse and you can find him here in Mo's store.
