Dies and/or Punches - new challenge at Passion for Markers

Love the theme of our new challenge at Passion for Markers - use your dies and/punches - right up my street.  I've used some fab Marianne dies, including these flower dies that I've not used in a while.  And, my favourite DL dies for the mats - details below.

Marianne Products Used

Flowers - CR1430
DL Stitched Frames - CR1537
Stitched Wavy Border Dies - CR1361

The image is a  Wonky Tonk Girl from Tracey Easson - and the little flowers are from the same stamp set - Day Dreamer- the range can be found here at Which Craft.  The papers are Introspection from Basic Grey.

My teamies have made some fabulous cards with images from our sponsors this week, All Dressed Up, so check them out here.

All Dressed Up are offering the lucky winner two digi images of their choice from the store.  Please remember to use your markers AND tell us which ones you've used- it's such a shame to find that a beautifully made card either hasn't used markers or not told us which ones they've used.

Hope you enjoy the challenge.

Floral Theme at Passion for Markers

It's new challenge today over at Passion for Markers with a great theme of Make It Floral - I do love a flower!

I've used one of the Wonky Tonk Girls from Tracy Easson - this is the beautiful Francesca.

The papers are Maia Road- Life in the Country and the large floral frame is from Marianne Designs - LR0457.

Our fab sponsors for this week's challenge are Leann's World 101 who are offering the lucky winner two digi images of their choice.

Check out my teamies' makes here then come and join in the challenge - just remember to use your markers and also to tell us which type!

Hugs, Juliexx

Wonky Tonk Sophia

So enjoyed colouring this beautifully whimsical beauty - Sophia from Tracy Easson's Wonky Tonk Girls(available from Which Craft here). When I first coloured her face I thought I'd overdone it but once I'd coloured her hair it toned her skin down.  I used a fabulous Copic combo that I saw Chris Dark use at a Craft Barn day that they used to put on in Lingfield, Surrey - sadly the Craft Barn is another craft shop that is no more.  Anyway, the colour combination Chris used was Light Crockery Blue and Dark Bark which I think is great for creating that glossy black hair look.

The papers I've used are Chambray and Lace from Craftwork Cards and then I've used a Mandala die from Marianne Designs to frame her head and mirror the one on the paper.

Marianne Products Used

Mandala Die - LR0614
Feather Dies - CR1412

Have a great weekxx
