For my card, I've used one of the Wonky Tonk girls designed by Tracey Easson which are available through Whichcraft here. Such beautiful images!!
I've used the gorgeous distressed DL die from Marianne Designs to frame her - CR1569 - one of my favourites.  The sentiment is from Woodware and then I broke out the flowers which I haven't done in an age!!

Thanks for getting this far!  I'll look forward to visiting you and seeing your fab spotty/stripy makes for our challenge this week - just remember to use your markers and say which ones in your post!

New Paint and Stationary Products at Marianne Designs - Spring Flowers

Over on the Marianne Inspiration Blog here  they're spotlighting the May release of Paint and Stationary products.  I've used the Paint and Ink blotches, blobs and paint strokes to create a border of flowers and I actually love the result!  I think the loose style of the stamps mimic flower heads perfectly as do the paint stroke stamps, flower stems.  I could even have used some of the stamps as leaves.  It's a really simple design but quite effective.  I've teamed the image up with a simple sentiment and a one of the pretty DLdie borders, details below.

Marianne Products Used.

Paint and Ink Stamps: CS1095
Hello Spring Sentiment: CS1044
DL Frame: CR1538

Passion for Markers Pearls and Gems Challenge

Today's challenge  at Passion for Markers has a fab theme of Pearls and/or Gems - I've used both!
I've used this stunning Sheepski Image - Noora - isn't she a beaut!

The papers are a mix of Maya Road and some DCWV ones that I've had an age.  And the flourishes are some really old ones that I no longer have the packaging for so can't remember who by!

The teeny, tiny crystals that I've dotted around the image are by Marianne - a beautiful soft, silvery-grey colour!

Our wonderful sponsor this week is Stampers Delights and they're offering the lucky winner 3 digital images of their choice!

Check out the gorgeous makes of my teamies here and then come and join in our challenge - I'll look forward to visiting!

Marianne Designs new May release

Morning folks, today I'm sharing my DT card for Marianne Designs, showcasing their stunning new art inspired dies and stamps release this month!  I had great fun creating the splodgy background with the Paint and Ink stamps!  I then spent ages matching up my paint tubes with the inks I have, then proceeded to cover most of the paint blobs up - never mind!  I also had a centre circle cut out but decided to use the art palette as a sentiment base so covered that up too - and it's a little wonky but hey!!

You can find a full walk-through on the Marianne Inspiration blog here, along with some fab makes from the other Marianne Design Team members!!  And the details of the products I used are below.

Art Palette/Paint Dies – LR0760
Paint and Ink Stamps – CS1095
Craft Dates Sentiments – EC0167

Happy weekend everyone!

Passion for Markers Flowers

We have the best challenge starting today at Passion for Markers - Flowers - lovely theme as chosen by our lovely Marie!

I have to confess that I have had this Imagination Crafts Pansy stamp in my stash for years - and this is the first time out of the packet!  I love it though so glad I've shown it some love at last! The sentiment came with and I've matched it with these beautiful papers from Maya Road.

It seemed to suit  some distressing too - it gave a lovely aged feel to my card.

Our generous sponsor this week is Colour of Love digis and they are offering one lucky winner 3 digi  images of their choice from their online store.

Some of the DT have worked with Colour of Love images for the challenge so check them out here then come and join in the challenge!

Thanks for popping by!
