Mo's Digital Pencil Sheriff

I've been trying to make a few more cards for boys for stock so coloured up this little cutie, Sheriff from Mo's Digital Pencil.

The horseshoe die is from Marianne but it didn't need an awful lot else with these papers. (Think they're from a 12x12 DCWV pad.)

Passion for Promarkers Colour Challenge

Today's card is for our new challenge at Passion for Promarkers as chosen by our lovely Marie - and it's Colour!  So easy, whether you colour in your image, or use bright and bold tones, or soft and pastel colours, it's all about the colour!
And as we have Crafty Sentiments Designs sponsoring us for this challenge, some of the DT have chosen their gorgeous images to work with - this one is called Little Friends.

I picked my colour scheme from the papers this time and added in a couple of Marianne dies as below.  The butterflies are some that have been in my stash an age and were just perfect to finish of my card.

Marianne Products Used

Round Looped Edge Die - CR1248
Lace Border Die (just peeking out behind image!) - LR0385

As I mentioned, we're being sponsored by Crafty Sentiments Designs with a fab prize of 3 digi images for the lucky winner of our challenge.

Lavinias

These are a few more inky-fingers cards that I did a while ago now but hadn't posted.  I just want to keep making this style but then I want to do so many things that I haven't got round too!  The hubster actually asked me last week how many of the things in my craft room I had actually used more than once!  I nearly fell off my chair - do we actually have to use it all?  He did redeem himself by saying is it as a much a collecting hobby as a making hobby!  Phew!!

Happy days!!

Mo Tolo

I really enjoyed colouring this little cutie up recently- she's called Tolo from Mo's  Digital Pencil.  I didn't choose the papers first either and I couldn't believe I managed to find these perfectly matched papers in my My Mind's Eye collection!

The square die is Marianne Designs - catalogue no LR0415 - and I really didn't need an awful lot else as the colours and papers are so vibrant!
I'm heading south for a few days today leaving hubby in our no heat home (our boiler has gone!).  Catching up with a lot of friends and my lovely Em and some family too (I'm so sorry if I've not managed to put some friends in my diary).  So, I've been trying to comment on blogs a bit more recently but may not be able to for the next week or so!

Have a great weekend!

Mo Jill Driving

Today's card was for my dear Friend Lesley who I've known since primary school and this image is just perfect for us driving about!! It's Jill Driving from Mo's Digital Pencil and possibly meant as a congrats to a new driver image.  I flipped the image in photo shop for UK driving on the right and aside from the fact that Lesley wears her hair straight this is pretty much us when I'm driving!!  Lesley is a bit of a nervous driver (particularly when being driven by others) and so I have to slow right down (okay, I  am a bit of a demon but have slowed right down)!!

I love these folding ornate frame card dies from Marianne, (details below), the papers are Basic Grey, and the sentiments are from a recent free set with Making Cards magazine - perfect!!

Marianne Products Used

Ornate Square Folding Frame Die set - LR0571
Flourish Dies - LR0271
Flower Dies - CR1430
Border die - LR0537

I'm driving down South next week to catch up with lots of friends, and our lovely Emily, so look out for us on the roads!!

Lavinia Something Wonderful

I've been showing my Lavinia stamps some love recently, and I've really enjoyed getting inky.  This was a very simple design done by masking off either edge of the piece of card and then sponging ink between the two masks.  I love the orange and black too - so striking!

PFP Flora and Fauna Challenge

It's new challenge day today at Passion for Promarkers with a wonderful theme of Flora and Fauna chosen by our lovely Lisa!  I've chosen this fab new image, Feed the Birds from Mo's Digital Pencil - she comes with one bird on her head but you can also buy the separate digi stamp, Little Birdies, so you can position them where you like to suit your composition.  I actually had mine more spread out and then cut them off when I cut out the image so I just fussy cut them and added them individually!

I  loved colouring this image, so cute!  The circle frame die from Marianne comes with the leafy branches dies and the big birdie so perfect for our challenge!  The little resin nest is something I picked up ages ago and again is perfect as a finishing touch.

Marianne Frame Set with Bird and Branches Die - LR0457

Our sponsor for this week is Dies to Die For and the lovely Tracy is offering one lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in her online store.

Just remember to use your Promarkers, Flexmarkers or Aquamarkers on your project and tell us what you've used!  Oh and check out the gorgeous makes of my teamies here.

Mo Love You To Pieces from Making Cards Magazine January 19

This is another one of the cards I made for Making Cards magazine in January using another of Mo's stunning images - Love You To Bits.  And she now comes in a pre-coloured version  if you prefer, here.

The papers are Teresa Collins and the cut-out corner die is by Marianne  - CR1438.  The little round lacy die is by Cheery Lynn and the sentiment comes with the image so you're all set to go!

Hope it's not too cold or snowy  where you are- looks like we've escaped the worst of it so far!

There is a fabulous set of stamps with Making Cards magazine this month so I'm off to have a play!

Hugs, Juliexx
