Passion For Promarkers - Anything Goes

I love an Anything Goes theme so was thrilled when our lovely Nic picked this theme for our new challenge at Passion For Promarkers.
My card was for my best matey, Lesley's birthday last week, oh the pressure when making a card for another card maker!   I went with making a little scene with lots of die-cuts and this Front and Back stamp from Art Impressions.
It took me ages line up all the layers and papers for the entrance using a Joanna Sheen Stable Door Die (I just knew these stamps from AI would be brill with this die.  However, I do wish I'd added some more detail to the inside - and a couple of dies that I bought from Sandown last week would have been just perfect, but it was too late by then!

I've listed the dies I used below, along with the rest of my ingredients.

.

Dies Used:
Stable Door and planted Urn - Joanna Sheen
Trees - Impression Obsession
Hanging Basket, Tree Branch, Grass - Memory Box
Bird House, Ivy - Marianne Dies
Fence - possibly Tim Holtz
My papers are a mix of My Minds Eye and Prima.

Our sponsor for this week's challenge is Polka Doodles so do play along and win something fabulous from them!

Ella in Trouble from Mo!

I went to Sandown on Friday with best matey Lesley, and we had such a lovely day.  I coloured Ella (Ella in Trouble from Mo's Digital Pencil) up at Lesley's house after we got home with our haul of goodies - we had such a good time! There were some amazing offers on dies - this bow edge frame and the matching border frame being just a couple!
The Sweet Heart corner die was a purchase from Dies to Dies for  - it's a Die-Versions die and I also bought one saying Happy Birthday - I think I'm going to get a lot of use out of them!
My papers are Crate Paper from the 6x6 Portrait Pad.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
The Ribbon Girls - Anything Goes
The HobbyHouse- Ribbons
Digitally Sweet - Anything Goes

Back to work tomorrow- first full week since before Christmas!  (:

Broked Boy C - Mo's Digital Pencil

I've got another Mo Manning cutie to show you today - this is Broked b c (boy curly haired version) - he looks so sweet, don't you think?
I've coloured him with my Promarkers and then teamed him up with some paper scraps from Stampin Up and a Brenda Walton pad.  The train panel is from a Websters Pages set but can't remember which one!  The plane die is Paper Trey Ink and the sentiment on the cloud is from a Krafting Kimmie set.  The ticket sentiments are from Whimsy Stamps.

Thanks for popping in - I hope you have a fabulous Tuesday!

Sketch N Stash Challenge 131

Hi there peeps.  I've not been around this weekend as we had a whirlwind visit to the Lake District to visit Nick's brother and to meet our new little great-nephew, Henry, (who is a little love!) and to bring MIL home from her stay up there.  Luckily, I was a little more organised than usual and had this card ready for today's new challenge over at Sketch N Stash.
This is the sketch we're using, and as we're being sponsored by Stitchy Bears, the DT were given some fab images to work with - I love this cute little Boo Boo Bear, don't you!
I've coloured him with my Promarkers, and used some papers from a DCWV Linen Closet pad.  The die around the image is a Spellbinders one and the little bows on the edge of the lace topped panel is a Magnolia die - Edwin!  The flowers are a mix of a Marianne Die and a some punches, and the heart is Joy Craft die.
I think my papers are my oldest item used, and the heart die the newest!
My lovely teamies over on SNS have got some wonderful makes to share with you using other  Stitchy Bears digital images so do pop on over here and give them some love!
I'm only working four days this week, as I'm off to Sandown on Friday with bestie Lesley - really looking forward to that!
Hope you all have a good week!

Mo's first monthly blog hop of 2014!

It's time for Mo's Dream Team to come together and have our first blog hop of the year for 2014.
We have a great theme of Distressing as chosen by this month's hostess with the mostest, Danielle - that is also where you should have started from if you're hopping along! Otherwise, you should have arrived here from Gretha's blog - I can't wait to see her wonderful creation!
For my distressed card, I've used the fabulous Elf Queen(Bride) - one of my favourite Mo images!
I've coloured her with my Promarkers, and layered her up on a Spellbinder frame.
The flowers are Cheery Lynn, and the leaf flourishes are Marianne.  Not that you can see them much here but all the papers I've used are from a DCWV pad called Luxury.  I finally added some Aged Marine Frantage to complete the distressed feel.
Your next stop on the hop is to the delightful Debby who will have an awesome card to share with you , I just know!
The full order of the hop is below and you can find the links to each team member's blog in my side bar!

Danielle, Kaly, Mina, Jak, Gretha, Julie, Debby.Y, Heidy, Alice, Vili, Alexandra, Anneke

Hope you've enjoyed the hop so far - and don't forget to leave a comment at each card along the way as there will be two $5 vouchers hidden on a couple of the blogs for a lucky commentor or two!

Bring out your inner Fairy Princess for PFP

We have a new challenge starting today over at Passion for Promarkers, - Just a Fairytale - as chosen by our lovely Lou!  So we want to see anything fairytale related such as  Princesses, Princes, Castles etc.  I've gone very girly and used these pretty pastel papers from a Kaisercraft pad called Enchanted, appropriately!
The digital image is from a set of two called Fairy Princesses by the fabulous Mo of course - you can find them here in her online store.
I've used several dies including the birch trees and rolled flower dies from Impression Obsession, grass and flowers from Memory Box and the background frame and sentiment die is a Sizzix set.The sentiment is from Lili of theValley.

Our sponsors for this challenge are Letraset with a fabulous prize from them I'm sure!

You can check out the fab makes of my PFP teamies here.
Hopefully, I should be home recovering from my hospital visit yesterday, where I've had to have what they call a 'procedure' as opposed to an operation, under general anaesthetic!

New Babies!

I can now post this card, as it has been received by the happy couple, my niece Charlotte and hubby Alex, who became the proud parents of Jemima on New Year's Day!
The image is the fabulous Baby Fairy Kiki from Mo's Digital Pencil - no-one does fairies quite like Mo!
I teamed the image up with some papers from Graphic 45, a couple of Joy-Craft heart die-cuts, and a big lace bow!
Many Congratulations La and Alex!
I may not be around for a few days, I have to have a 'procedure' under general anaesthetic on Monday and I'm not looking forward to it one bit!  It should be quite straightforward but not having had general anaesthetic before I'm a tad nervous!

Mo's Beary Sick

This card is for all you poorly peeps  out there - lots of  people with winter colds and other nasty, germy things!  The image and sentiment are both from Mo's Digital Pencil and this is the male version of Beary Sick,.  You can also get a female version here.
My papers are from a pad that has been in my stash an age  - I can't remember who  they're by, sorry!
The little sentiment is from Stampin Up, and the ribbon and other bits are from my stash.
And shock, horror, I have found time to look around at some sketches and I used the current one over at Sketch Saturday below:

Sketch N Stash 6th January

Hi there - we have a new challenge starting today over at Sketch N Stash, although there is another week to go to enter in the challenge that started last week - we're just getting our timing sorted out!

As you probably know, we're working through our back catalogue of fabulous sketches ( it's a shame not to keep using them, don't you think?) and this time we using number 26, above.
My card was for my niece's husband, and as he's a drummer in a band (not his day job!), I thought this Kenny K  digi image would be perfect!
I've pretty much kept to the sketch using some Graphic 45 paper and then some musical dies from Memory Box.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Live and Love Crafts and the lucky winner will receive a fab £10 voucher to spend in their store!
Check out the rest of the fabulous makes from my lovely DT buddies at Sketch N Stash here.
Back to a full week at work this week which I'm not looking forward to, although it is my baby's 19th birthday on Friday so that's something to look forward to celebrating!
Have a good week everyone!
