More Christmas cards with Lavinia stamps

I made this set a few weeks ago, again with the gel plate that I cut from a large square which I thought was wasted but I like the uneven edges this produces!

Hoping to get inky fingers again today and make some more cards looking at the Lavinia tutorials on You Tube from the Lavinia DT - so inspirational!

The ink hasn't blended quite so well on the next one but it does look like a blood moon which we are lucky to get occasionally  where we are.

Thanks for popping in!

A Wintery Scene with Marianne Dies and Brushos

This is another Christmas card I made with Brushos and some Marianne Dies simply cut in white card with some gold for the lights in the windows and some Chunky White and Shabby White Frantage for the snow detail.

I love the night twilight sky effect you get with Brushos and you never really know what you're going to get so I love just doing it and cutting the best pieces from the paintwork to fit the scene.

Mo Snow Shovel

I made this a few weeks ago while I had my brushos out and making background skies.  I love the variations in colour that you get which gives your sky depth and a bit of perspective.  I've used some simple border dies in white from Marianne and then popped on my  Mo's Digital Pencil, Snow Shovel in the foreground.  A list of Marianne Dies used is below:

Marianne Dies Used

Tree Border - LR0524
Landscape Border dies (with mini pine trees) - LR0482
Mountain Die - COL1417

I'm off on a walk this morning - at it looks dry and not a speck of snow in sight so it should be nice!

Marianne Silhouette Tree Stamps with Brushos

I made this series of cards using the fabulous new silhouette stamps from Marianne designs - I just love them and they are such great value!  I made the backgrounds using Brushos and then, where I've added a moon, I did this using a circle cut out and Distress Oxides.  I edged all of the scenes with a Red Gold Metallic  Promarker and then layered them up onto mats.  Finally, I added rather a lot of Chunky White Frantage before adding the sentiments!  I think this first one where it's just the trees on the sky line is my favourite!

I've shown the detail here because you can see how the sky has come out as quite patchy with the brusho but I think I like the effect!

Brusho Christmas Song cards

These are a few more of the Christmas cards I made using Brushos to create the background of the tree panels.  I then matched them up with some papers, these fabulous Carol stamps from Marianned designs as well as the wintery tree dies and some of the deer.   I think the tree stamp is from Lavinia Stamps.
I did the brusho backgrounds in lots of different colours, practising really and the did look a bit messy but once I'd cut them down and positioned the other elements I was really pleased with how they turned out!

This sunset -hued one isn't normally the colours I go for but I must admit to really loving it.  This deer and sleigh are two separate Marianne dies that I joined together using the Celestial Stars die from the Embossing folder/die combo set.

This is a slightly different colour way but just as pretty.

And a love this purple one!
