A retro Birthday card

This is the card I made for son Harry at the end of August.  He loves going off on adventures and travels and is an amazing photographer.  He's off in a few days to do the North Coast 500 in Scotland.  Nick and I did it a few years ago and it was stunning.

So my card uses a starburst background  from Kokorosa Dies - I've used retro colours  as these are the colours Harry loves.   The little die cuts are from Marianne Designs and the sentiment is from a really old set, called Clearly Wordsworth from Rubber Soul

Passion for Markers Colours of Autumn

I'm a little late today sharing my card. We had another weekend in Norwich sorting Dad's stuff and I didn't have signal.

Anyway, on to my card and it's for our new challenge at Passion for Markers with this week theme chosen by yours truly!  I've chosen a theme of Colours of Autumn, so lots of oranges, greens, reds, Halloweeny colours.  Remember to use your markers mind!

We're being sponsored by the fabulous Rachelle Anne  Miller and the DT have been able to use some of her fabulous new releases.  My stamp of choice was this Peekaboo Raccoons image - so sweet.

I went fairly low key on my design but just thought the image with this beautiful ornate frame from Marianne Designs, LR0670.  I then did a bit of hand doodling and couldn't resist adding a pair of eyes to the O's in the Boo!

PFM Christmas in September

Can you believe it - almost the hottest day of the year and we're doing Christmas!!   But, when you're using cute images like this from Colour of Love, what's not to love!

Yes, our sponsors for this week's Christmas in September challenge over at Passion for Markers here are Colour of Love who are going to be offering the lucky winner three digi images!  

I've used Sleeping  Holiday  Fred Gnome which you can find here on the Colour of Love site. I've coloured him with Copics then teamed him up with a fab selection of Stampin Up, K&Co and My Mind's Eye papers.  The image comes with a black border so I've added black mats for the paper layers.  

The little sentiments are from Marianne Designs - Christmas Carols EC0198.

A few Lavinias from 2021!

As there's a new release today from Lavinia Stamps I thought it's about time, I shared these makes from two years ago!!  Honestly - I load them into posts and they stay there as drafts which isn't much use is it!!

I love this style where the main image drifts over the side of the central inked panel.

Love the seed head and thistle head dies too!
