Mo's Bake Me a Cake and new Marianne Die

Morning from a cold and miserable day in the Lakes!  DD no 3 has just arrived with three friends to camp out for the week, but they're currently taking refuge in the conservatory as the weather is so pants!  British Summertime eh!
On to today's card and this is the yummy Bake Me a Cake from Mo's Digital Pencil. And I just had to use this new pop-up card die from Marianne Designs.  I love the design of the oval frames that come with it too!  And of course, my utensil dies and little pan holder are just perfect accessories for my theme.  Details of my Marianne Dies below:

Oval and Pop Up Die set - LR0371
Utensil Set - CR1247
A little close up below of the whisk, spatula and oven pad along with the pretty doily papers from Dovecraft.

And a side view showing the popped-up image and the Lili of the Valley sentiment matted onto a Cheery Lynn doily die cut.

Think I might need to go and put socks and a jumper on, it's so chilly here!
Keep warm folks!

Happy 21st with Marianne Dies amongst others!

Morning - a little bit of sunshine here today, so taking our friends to Grasmere and a drive around the Langdales.  Today's card was from a another visit from my nephew, Lucas, who was 21 last month.  I thought it would be nice to make his 21st card from this picture I took of him up a tree overlooking Crummock.  The papers are Kaisercraft Limecraft  and match the Lake District colours and texture  perfectly!
The new selection of photography themed die/stamp combos from Marianne were also perfect - details below:
Filmstrip - COL1390
Photoframes - COL1388

The hearts are cut with some new Tim Holtz dies, as is the celluloid strip with everything else from stash.

Just off out now for a nice pub dinner!  Enjoy your evening!!

Flower Challenge at Passion for Promarkers

Hello peeps!  We have a new challenge starting today at Passion For Promarkers and it's also my turn to choose the theme, so I've gone with flowers- nice and easy, right?  I've picked this gorgeous Paperbabe Digi image called MayLeeDee in Wonderland.  I'm a big fan of Kim's range but have only just found the time to use this little lovely.  Check on the link to find her in Kim's Etsy store.

I picked my colour scheme from the Lili of the Valley paper Pad I was using - Timeless Victorian.
I've used the following Marianne Designs Dies:

Basic Round Die Set- CR1334
Anja Rose Border - LR0212

The blue flowers are actually some gorgeous vintage buttons that I found on a vintage sewing stall at Woolfest here in Cumbria last month- they are soooo pretty.  The purple ric-rac is also vintage but has been in my stash a while.  The little tag and sentiment are PTI and the rest of my flowers are from stash.
My fabulous teamies at PFP have done me proud and have made some wonderful floral creations to share with you - check them out here.
Our sponsor for this challenge is DigiStamp Boutique and they're offering a lush £10 voucher to the lucky winner of our challenge.

Have a great week!

Mo Flowers 4U

Another Mo card from me today using this little Cutie -  Flowers 4U.
I've cut my card shape with a die set which makes life very easy and then cut my image with Labels 18 dies which was a wonderful present amongst many other wonderful presents for my birthday from best matey, Lesley. The papers are from Marianne Designs Pretty Paper Bloc pad, Belle Fleur,as is the Anja Vintage  Frame almost hidden at the bottom of my card (catalogue no LR0272).

The sentiment is from Stampin Up and the little watering can is from an Impression Obsession die.  The flower pot was cut with a really ancient Quickutz die.
Seam binding, buttons and twine are all from stash.
