Mo's Bake Me a Cake and new Marianne Die

Morning from a cold and miserable day in the Lakes!  DD no 3 has just arrived with three friends to camp out for the week, but they're currently taking refuge in the conservatory as the weather is so pants!  British Summertime eh!

On to today's card and this is the yummy Bake Me a Cake from Mo's Digital Pencil. And I just had to use this new pop-up card die from Marianne Designs.  I love the design of the oval frames that come with it too!  And of course, my utensil dies and little pan holder are just perfect accessories for my theme.  Details of my Marianne Dies below:

A little close up below of the whisk, spatula and oven pad along with the pretty doily papers from Dovecraft.

And a side view showing the popped-up image and the Lili of the Valley sentiment matted onto a Cheery Lynn doily die cut.

Think I might need to go and put socks and a jumper on, it's so chilly here!

The Three Ss!

The Three Ss?  That's the theme for our new challenge at Basic Grey Challenges -

Scallops, Swirls and Stitches.

I've used fake stitching before you ask, - it's a border stamp round the outer mat. I'm also a little light on swirls but the S on my sentiment is swirly!!  My Basic Grey papers, Boxer by the way, are also a little swirly don't you think!

The image is a Bombshell stamp, coloured with Copics when I was at Lesley's house earlier in the week.  She's a little minx isn't she (not Lesley, my image!!) and I thought  she went rather well with the sentiment which is by Stampin Up!
