Super Duper Boy for our Super Duper Sam

I've headed south today to go to the "Christmas" Birthday party of my great-nephew Sam!  Yep, he asked for a Christmas-themed party,  so that's what he's getting apparently!    Thought this image from Mo Manning, Super Duper Boy, (girl versions are available!) would be perfect and I've used some Christmassy colours to get on board with the theme!
I picked the papers up in California cheap as chips, The lettering is from Cosmo Cricket, whilst the Star ribbon border is from Marianne Designs (Catalogue No: LR0134 and in stock here at MaddyLisa Crafts!).  The stars were a freebie set from a magazine and the rocket ship is an old Provocraft die.
Looking forward to seeing my girly, Holly, lots of family and friends over the next few days along with a spot of craft therapy with best matey and landlady for my trip down south, Lesley!

February Mo Blog Hop and it's Spring (well nearly!)

Yep, it's the second month of the year already and the third Thursday of the second month, so it's time for us to hop over on Mo's Dream Team with a fab theme of Spring chosen by our wonderful Gretha - so that is also your starting blog for the hop and hopefully where you've hopped on over from  to me!!
I've gone with a springlike scene and used these gorgeous papers from My Mind's Eye  that definitely have a feel of spring about them.  And of  course, I've used this gorgeous new image from Mo called Lulu which you can find in Mo's store by clicking on the link.
I've also used a ton of Marianne Dies as below:
Trellis Panel Die - CR1263
Circle Stitch Edging die - CR1248
Border Stitch Edging die- CR1250
Ivy, Bird and Birdhouse set - LR0206
Flourishes from Swirls and Frame set - LR0116
My little fence die is from Tim Holtz and the sentiment is Lili of the Valley.
So now it's time for you to hop on over to the blog of my fabby friend, Debby, where she will have a fabby make to show you.  Oh and don't forget to leave a comment as you visit each of the team's blogs as there could be a hidden $5 voucher to spend in Mo's online store and it could be yours!

Happy Hopping!!

Perfect Pearls at Passion for Promarkers

Thought I'd brighten up the cold winter days with thoughts of summer and holidays!!  This is for our new challenge at Passion for Promarkers starting today - with a great theme of Pearls chosen by our fabulous Nic.
I've used this wonderful image, Little Umbrella, from Mo's Digital Pencil, for my card - wish I looked like that on the beach!!   The papers are Marianne Designs Pretty Paper Blocs - Garden Party and I 've edged it with a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page set.
There are also some Marianne Dies in there - the Butterfly (cat no: LR0153), Anja Vintage Edger (cat no: LR0269) and Anja Vintage Swirls (cat no: LR0271) and I think most of these items are in stock at Maddylisa Crafts.  The birthday sentiment lettering is cut with PTI dies and the rest - flowers and pearls- are from my stash.

You can check out the rest of my teamie's PFP makes here and then you can get crafting and join in the challenge with us. You could be the lucky winner of a £10 voucher to spend at the DigiStamp Boutique.

Happy Tuesday everyone and thanks for stopping by!!

The Divine Maybelle from Mo's Digital Pencil

This is the divine Maybelle from Mo's Digital Pencil - aint she a cutie!!  Still trying to get my mojo back and into colouring again, it's amazing how rusty you get even after just a few weeks.
And I now have no excuse not to do my Clothing Class from Kit and Clowder.  Maybe after this week!!
I started off by following the sketch over on Sketch Saturday but ran out of room for the last bit so veered right off  course!  My papers are from Maya Road, the sentiment is  LOTV and the flowers are from stash - I did find a long-lost pair of glasses in with my purple flower storage so that's a positive!

Thanks for stopping by - hope you likey!!

Thank you with new Marianne products!

I'm still struggling to find time to play as we're still sifting through boxes and moving furniture around but couldn't wait to play with some new Marianne goodies that arrived this week!    I had to make a thank you card and so they seemed perfect for the job.  My absolute favourite is the large edge flourish which I think looks a little like stylised cloud - it's part of the Anja range and called Anja Flourish (catalogue no: LR0344).  The sentiment die is part of the Anja Labels set(LR0241), and while not new in itself, now has a set of clear stamp sentiments to fit (CCS0916).
The house border is a Memory Box and the ribbon etc from stash.  As I said a very quick card, and I've got to now start helping hubby move boxes up into the newly boarded loft!  Enjoy your Sunday - hope you have a nicer day than me planned!!

And I'm back although my mojo doesn't seem to be!

Yes, here I am, having moved from London to the Lake District at the beginning of January.  I was so happy to get my craft room all set up last week and was raring to go and really enjoyed making this new baby card for my niece who gave birth to little Joshua a couple of weeks ago but since then - nothing!!  Maybe because I have so much else to do and think about at the minute.
Anyhoo, today's card is for our new challenge at Passion For Promarkers which starts today which is One for the Boys as chosen by our lovely Marie.  Lucky my niece had a boy then - congratulations Harrisons!!
My image is a new one from Mo's Digital Pencil called Laundry Day which you can find here as well as lots of other gorgeous new digital images to tempt you!  I feel my colouring has got a bit rusty too so really must try and get some more practise in.  I've used lots of lovely Marianne Dies including the letters from a new Alphabet  Banner set (LR0340), the Baby word and Safety Pins (LR0217) and the fabulous Anja Squares (LR0242) of which I've used the two outer dies.
The star dies were from a magazine freebie and the sentiment is from Inkadinkado, oh and my papers are First Edition It's a Boy!
I must remember to post up some pictures of our new home and our little business attached to it - we have a holiday cottage to let but for now a couple of pictures of the view from our garden with the recent snow, and a lovely winter walk the other day.

We have two sponsors for this week's challenge - Letraset and Polkadoodles:

The prize from Letraset is a 12 pen Manga set

and Polkadoodles are giving two digi images to a lucky entrant!
Polkadoodles
Don't forget to check out the rest of the team's fab makes here and then don't forget to come and join in our challenge this week.  I'm looking forward to getting back to blogging even if not making stuff!
