New Challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge - A Trio of Quick Christmas cards

Hey bloggers- two posts in two days, get me and, three cards in this post!!  It's our new challenge over on Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge and as always, it's Anything Goes!

I am a huge Game of Thrones Fan, so when I saw this image and it's matching sentiment, I had to use it for some quick Crimbo cards!  It's called Winter is Coming and can be found here in Mo's store.

I used some left over scraps of Christmas papers and just a few embellies and rather more Chunky White Frantage.  Coloured with my Promarkers, mostly the sky and you know, I didn't really need to blend to much, I rather like the streaky, effect as this is how the sky looks often, in real life!
And finally a pic of all three cards.

Come and join in the challenge - easy peasy rules, just use a Mo image, and only one entry.  As always there's a great prize of a $5 voucher for Mo's Store.  And there is an awful lot of wonderful there, have you seen the new images!!
No sign of winter here yet, it's a beautiful sunny day here again!!

PFP Texture and a Wedding!

This is my card for the challenge that has just started over on a Passion for Promarkers.  We have a great theme of Add Texture as chosen by our lovely Ali.
My card has plenty of texture from wooden heart frames and the hexagonal wood scrap, to lace to metal charms. It was for my  niece's recent wedding hence the date etc!!

The image is framed using Marianne Anja's Label die - LR0425  -  and the tag is a Marianne Bag topper - CR1377.
My image is Married from Mo's Digital pencil and my papers are mostly Cosmo Cricket/

I also decorated a box to house  the card
And below are a couple of pics of the fabulous wedding day in France......
......and the stunning French Chateau ( hence my little castle charm on the card.)

We have an amazing prize of a £15 voucher from Dies to Die for - wow!!

I hope you can find some time to join in our challenge, just check out the rest of my PFP teamie's creations here, if you need a  mojo boost!

Mo's Frost

I can't believe that I've not posted for nearly two weeks, and that I've not got any pics of a wedding card for my niece whose celebrations we enjoyed last weekend. My camera SD card had a wobbly and I lost all the pics on it :(
Still it means I get to share this cutie - Frost from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I'm so glad I printed a few of these off as I think I will make a couple more for this Christmas.

Look, no design papers but have still used lots of Marianne loveliness as follows:
Snowflake Embossing folder
Stitched Circles - CR1360
Snowflake curve - CR1346
Star Die - LR0369
Of course, I've coloured her with my Promarkers, added a bit of glitter and bling, and there you have it.

Happy Saturday everyone

PFP CAS!

Ooh new challenge of CAS today starting over at PFP, which you may realise I don't do very well but would like to!  Have to say, I was rather pleased with this, although the flowers may be slightly outside the CAS guidelines! But hey, it's CAS for me!
This gorgeous image is called Cheek to Cheek, of course from Mo's Digital Pencil, and was perfect for some lovely friends of ours who have just got married. The heart border die is from a Marianne Designs  diet set - Stitched Hearts and Accolades (CR1362).
The papers are Tilda and the Love die cut is a Memory Box die(which I've lost since using it!).  The stamped sentiment is from PTI.

My teamies at PFP have totally rocked the CAS theme- check them out here.  Do come and join in our challenge too as you could be the lucky winner of a $21 dollar voucher!!

Beautiful Butterflies challenge at PFP

I do not know where the last two weeks have gone, I really don't!  We had a lovely week last week with two of our nieces visiting with their families, so lovely to see all the little ones!  I feel I've hardly been in my craft room and had a job getting this card made in time, but I scraped in! It's for our new challenge at Passion for Promarkers with a super theme of Beautiful Butterflies chosen by our awesome Coops!
I've used one of the little cuties from 6 Baby Fairies (Girls), I think she looks like a little butterfly, but added a diecut one for good measure!
I added her onto my card with a piece of acetate to really make her pop off the page, and of course, I had to use my Marianne dies and products, as below:

Spiderweb and Leaf Die set - LR0430
Mushroom  Dies - LR0372
Oak Leaf and Acorn Die set - LR0373
Butterfly - LR0153
Mini Dazzlers
Check out the beautiful butterfly creations of my teamies at PFP here and come and join in our challenge. You could win the fab prize of 3 digi stamps from 2 Cute Ink.

Getting cracking on Christmas - Let's Chill

I've only had time to make one card this week, so I thought I'd better make it count towards that Christmas tally!  And the fabulous Mo is adding tons of new images to her digital stock and I think we can look forward to some fab new Christmas ones!
I've used Chill here, which was released a few weeks ago, love it, and it comes with the sentiment.  And I received my Marianne DT package this week which came with this fabulous scarf die, a match made in heaven! A full list of my Marianne products are below:
Knitted Scarf Die - LR0439 (and in stock here at Crafts U Love, just  sayin!)
Basic Distressed Squares  Die set - CR1375
Snowflake Die - CR1225 (comes with this hearts die set)
Snowflake Embossing Folder - DF3419
Paper - From a Pretty Paper Bloc set but not sure which one, sorry!

I kept the design reasonably simply as I love let the image do the talking sometimes, and it keeps Christmas postage down!!
That's it for now folks, thank you so much for popping by!

It's my kind of challenge starting today at Passion for Promarkers- Make It Digital, so use a digi image/sentiment somewhere on your card. Great theme Marie!  Well you know I'm a huge fan of Mo'sDigital Pencil so of course picked this image, Kate, from Mo's vast catalogue and which is getting bigger daily!!

Petra's Beautiful Border die - LR0407
Tiny's Lily Die - CR1306
Spikey flowers - LR0229
Lace Border - LR0385
My sentiment is also LOTV and all the other bits are from stash.

When I saw this gorgeous image from Mo, Tilli-Gnome, I couldn't wait to get my DT package from Marianne Designs as I knew she would team up with this fabulous Mushroom Home die that is new this month.  My full list of Marianne products are below:
Mushroom  House- COL1412
Tiny's Oak Trees- CR2338
Papers - Driftwood, Wintertime and Silver Stars

The sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink.

Right now it's time to send you on to the blog of my fab teamie, Gaynor, who will have a treat for you I'm sure.  And, don't forget to leave a comment on each of the blogs that you visit as you could win one of two $5 dollar vouchers to spend in Mo's online store!

Vintage wedding

I made this wedding card for the daughter of one of  my oldest and dearest friends, who got married at the weekend.  We weren't able to make it to the evening celebrations but I'm sure their day was wonderful.
I used papers from Scrap and Craft for the vintage style and cut out the gothic stained glass window with a Memory Box die, and used the off cut to stamp my sentiment from Inkylicious. I made the little frame below using some Cloud  Air clay so it's nice and light and the tassels were made with a Marianne die - Tassel Fringe Die set LR0391.

Oha and I made a box to match with a Paper Trey Ink stamp for the sentiment and a Martha Stewart Punch Round the Page set for the border.
There are lots of bits and pieces from stash too, including some bits of vintage lace, a Memory Box rose corner die, , peals and muslin.

Thanks for stopping in peeps!

Male Happy Birthday

The only thing I like about making cards for men is that they can be fairly CAS, otherwise not so much!  I love this Woodware sentiment but wondered what to team it with then remembered this knight stamp which I've had for many years and thought it would be perfect!  The papers were from the US and the round accents were from the same stamp set as the knight.  The little wooden knight was a craft fair purchase.  Finally, I've used two Marianne dies:

Stitched Circle Die- CR1360
Stitched Clouds and Waves border die set- CR1361

That's it for now folks,
Happy Weekend!

If it's Tuesday  it means that it's time for a new challenge at PFP HQ, with a great  easy peasy theme of  It's Hip to Be Square.

Wuthering for the new monthly challenge starting today at DP2

It's time for a new monthly challenge today at  DP2 Challenge, as always with an Anything Goes theme.  I just love, love, love this new image from Mo called Wuthering (just click on the name to take you to her in Mo's store), and of course the homage is to Cathy.  However, she also reminds me of when Kiera Knightly stands on Stanage Edge in the Peak District in the 2005 film version of Pride and Prejudice.  (This also happens to be just about my all-time favourite film!)

I used one of my bigger Go Kreate dies to make my card base and mat - so much easier now I have the big Big Shot!  There's also a few Marianne Dies for the ferns and flourish:

LR0403- Tiny's Ferns
LR0271- Anja Vintage Swirls

Winners prize: a $5.00 voucher for Mo's online store.

Remember to follow Mo's Challenge Rules ...
use at least one Mo Manning image...
NEW creations only! (No back linking)...
And, please, only ONE entry per person!

You can check out the gorgeous makes of the rest of Mo's Dream Team here!
