Birthday card with Lavinia stamps

This is the card I made for the hubster for his recent birthday.  He walks our local fell, Binsey, most mornings and from his morning musings and meditations is writing...maybe a book, who knows!  So the book mountain represents that and there is also a particularly tall tree by Bassenthwaite Lake that he is drawn to.  Oh, and the pheasant - Nick is not an animal lover but feeds the pheasants who visit our garden, from his hand and often twice daily.  The current visitor is Fred, who just hangs about on the steps until he gets fed.  Two, now very chubby, sparrows accompany him!!

All done with Lavinia stamps and masks on a previously made inky background.

Passion for Markers Spots and Stripes

Tuesdays are new challenge day at Passion for Markers and today's challenge is about Spots and Stripes.  You can just about make out my spotty backing mat and the spots on my flower petal!
