New Home card with Marianne Dies

I visited a very dear friend this weekend who has moved into a beautiful new home and as I know she is a fan of cherry blossom, I thought this would be a perfect make, all made with Marianne Design goodies as below

Brick Border Window - CR1389
Vine Flourishes - CR1396
Papers

The sentiment is Clearly Besotted and punched with a Stampin Up punch.

I travel back home to the Lakes today but feel I have had the most wonderful catch up with so many of my wonderful friends (and family of course!)

Felted new home card

My daughter has very recently moved in  with her best friend from school, so I made this felted image into a new home card for her. I felted the picture and have then used varous dies, including this gorgeous little cottage die from Marianne Designs Creatables range - LR0453.  (Not that  they're in a cottage, actually a penthouse flat in South London!)
I'm in London too, visiting with friends for a few days, having left the hubster guarding the homestead, so hope to see their new abode on Monday before I head north again.
Hope you're having a great weekend so far,

Hugs, Juliexx

Robot card for Something New Challenge starting at Passion for Promarkers

It's time for our new challenge starting at PFP today with a fab theme of Something New as chosen by our lovely Ali.  So it could be a new home card, a new baby card or, as I have done, used something new in my stash which was this fab Robot image from Mo's Digital Pencil - Bip Bip Birthday.  The Robot die from Marianne Designs is also new to me and comes with a great set of stamps including the little lightning bolts and the beep beeps words.
I've hinged the die cut robot and stuck him inside my card as a little surprise.  I also added the googly eyes, which makes him look a bit manic!!
The frame around the image is also from Marianne while you may recognise the papers from Marianne which have been in my stash for years and are just perfect for this image! Details for the Marianne stuff are below:

Robot Die/Stamp Set - COL1403
Wood Frame = CR1348

Our sponsor this week is the fabulous DigiStamp Boutique and the winner will receive a rather nice £10 voucher to spend in their store!

February Blog Hop With Mo's Digital Pencil - Get Well Makes

I can hardly believe that it's time to hop with Mo's Dream Team again- just where has that month gone (this seems to be my mantra at the moment!!). Still, it is that time and this month we have a great theme of Get Well.  This month, Debby is the start of the hop,and hopefully you have made your way here from Hellen's Blog,
I decided to use the gorgeous image, Flower Jar for my card- who doesn't love flowers when they're poorly!

Papers are from stash, the Love sentiment and tag punch are from Stampin Up and the Feel Better sentiment is PaperTrey Ink.  I've also used a yummy embossing folder from Marianne Designs - a spotty trellis design (Catalogue number DF3424)
You should now hop on over to Anneke's blog who is your final stop this month.

Here's the Blog Hop run in case you get lost on the way......

Don't forget there are two $5 gift vouchers to spend in Mo's shop to be drawn from the participating Dream Team Designers comments so... make sure you pop in and comment on everyone's post for the blog hop to be in with the chance to win!!!

Enjoy the hop everyone and have a lovely day!

Wuthering from Mo's Digital Pencil

You know, Mo's Wuthering has to be right up there in my Top 5 favourite images.  This is my second make with her in recent months and think I may use her again for one further card I need to make. This one was made for my niece's birthday today, and I think, even looks a little like her!  Happy Birthday Charlotte! xx
My papers are from Crafter's Companion and the rose edge border is another favourite from Fiskars.  I've also used a couple of Marianne products, as always!!

Lattice frame behind image - Anja's Squares - LR0242
Lacy border (just peeking out at bottom of image - Petra's Beautiful Border - LR0407
Sentiment - Dreams set - CS0975
Bitterly cold here in Cumbria at the minute, hope it's a bit warmer where you are!

Passion for Promarkers - It's all about Hearts

I just don't know where the days go at the minute, can't believe that a fortnight has gone by and it's time for Team 1 at PFP to show their work for our new challenge starting today!  Today's theme has been chosen by our lovely Shelly with a great theme of I Heart You!
I love this image from Mo's Digital Pencil - Dede and Pod - somehow it reminds me of my granddaughter hugging her baby doll, which she does regularly!  (And Violet has a little pointy, pixie ear too, so it's definitely her!)
I used lots of lovely Marianne Dies too for my card- listed below - I especially love the new Foxglove die which comes in two pieces, so you can use just the leaves or flower stem for your projects!

Fox Glove Die- LR0452
Heart Die - CR1225
Lattice Frame from Anja's Large Ovals set - LR0236
Heart Dazzlers

My teamies have made some gorgeous cards to share with you, so pop on over here to take a peek.
And don't forget to join in the challenge using your Promarker products - you could win a fabulous set of pens!

I love these bird stamps from Marianne Designs, so cute and there is also a single bird version.
I'm not sure what sort of bird I've coloured them up as, a cross between a Canary and Blue Tit, I think!
