PFP Patchwork with a Cupcake Mouse!

There's a new challenge starting today over at a Passion For Promarkers with a great theme of Patchwork as chosen by our lovely Shelly! I've picked the wonderful new image, Cupcake Mouse from Mo's Digital Pencil, for my card, such a happy chappy!!  My patchwork was made with a Die-Versions hexagonal die set, the papers are from First Edition, and the sentiment is Stampin Up!!
We're being sponsored this week by Little Claire Designs with some yummy new papers which tie in with our theme perfectly!!

New Home card

A non-colouring card from me today, which is quite nice sometimes and a bit quicker too!!
My daughter and her partner, Harry, have just moved in together, getting ready for their special delivery next March!!  So this is the card  I made as they start their new lives together!!  So happy for them and proud too of how they've sorted out their fab new home.
I love this house set from Leabilities - you get three different houses, a mountain peak  and a rolling hills die which I've used in the frame.
The sentiment and heart die cuts are both from Marianne designs as follows:
New Home Die - CR1314
Hearts Punch Die - CR1322
And the flowers were a bargain at a Craft Cupboard Clearout event I went to last weekend!  Only one card making stall, but boy were there some goodies to buy!!

It's the hubster's birthday tomorrow, hopefully the weather will be kind as we're planning a walk and lunch out somewhere!

September Blog Hop with Mo's Dream Team - Anything But a Card!!

Yep, it's September, people, and the third Thursday in the month, which not only means that it's time for our monthly blog hop over on Mo's Dream Team, but also that Christmas is-a-coming!!   Kaly's blog is the beginning of the hop, and also  from where you should  have hopped to me!  I know that Kaly would have had something quite wonderful to share with you!

As our theme is Anything But a Card, I've gone with a little Christmas decoration using one of Mo's gorgeous Elf images from the dual image set, North Pole Employees - a firm favourite of mine for Christmas makes!
I cut some rosettes with a Tim Holtz Alteration Strip die, punched some holes in the bottom layer to dangle some jingle bells from and used an old cotton reel with some Baker's twine to make the base of my tree.  My little employee then topped my tree off!  Simples.  I did cut my rosettes slightly shorter each time (from Stampin Up Christmassy papers) to get cone shape for my tree.
I did struggle to get good pictures (probably shouldn't have left it until 10:00 at night to take them!!) You might just be able to make out the glitter on his fur trim and bauble on his hat. Otherwise, I coloured him with my Promarkers and a few Flexmarkers.

As you can see in this pic, I tried to stage it a bit with some pine cones but it proved too difficult to get a really good picture.  It's a liitle wonky too but I kinda like that!
Right, now it's time for me to send you on to the blog of my lovely  matey, Debby.  Don't forget to leave a comment on each post as you could be the lucky winner of a $5 dollar voucher to spend in Mo's Digital Pencil!
Happy Hopping!!

Passion for Promarkers and Mo's Digital Pencil

White Rabbits everyone - 1st September -eeeekkk!  Where has the summer gone?  The hubster and I did a Wainwright Walk yesterday up Burn Bank at the back of Loweswater here in the Lake District.  It was spectacular as the weather was good and they were paragliding off the top of the fell.  However, I was absolutely shattered, just had no energy at all.  Couple of pictures to share below.

I think I should have chosen to get a boat out on the lake rather than walking up the fell just like this chappy below.  This was for my son's birthday last week who loves fishing up here and funnily enough caught a couple of trout today so that's tea sorted tomorrow!
Forms of travel or transport are our theme for this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers chosen by our lovely Marie!  The image is called Fishing (funnily enough) and is from Mo's Digital Pencil and can be found here in Mo's online store.
I love the little haversack button and fishes that I managed to find in my stash!
My papers are from Webster's pages and the Happy Days sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.
The gone fishing sign is from a really ancient Flipping Men set that I bought years ago because it was so cheap!!
Well that's all from me folks apart from just to say that our sponsors are the fabulous Letraset with a 12 pack of Promarkers as the prize!

Oh and don't forget to check out the fab makes of my PFP teamies here!
Tight Lines!!
