Several years ago now I was a member of a Stampin Up Stampers 10 group which met regularly but as I lived too far away, I couldn't go to the classes but got the card pieces each week to make up the card in question!! I've never done anything with the card kits so decided to hunt them out to use some of the papers etc to make some Christmas cards. Joanne the SU demonstrator made these gorgeous robins out of round punches and petal punches - I've added the link here for you to see how easy they are to make. It doesn't look like Joanne's blog is active anymore but you can still get lots of amazing ideas for cards, especially flowers on her blog. You'll see that I've added my own twist, with this Marianne branch die instead of a flourish stamp for my robins to perch on. I've also done a few variations below just to ring the changes.
All the stash used is from Stampin Up including the card stock and design papers. The only non SU stash is the Marianne branch from the Tiny's Pine Cone set (catalogue no: LR0286) which you can find here at MaddyLisa Crafts at the minute, the Papertrey Ink sentiment and the tag which is cut with a Magnolia die.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
