Waltzing Mouse Little Lanterns

Just posting a really quicky crimbo card from LAST year that I hadn't blogged -tsk tsk!
I made it with some fab die and stamp combo sets from Waltzing Mouse - I really must get them out again to use this year!

Feeling pretty despondent here at the moment - beginning to think our move won't happen before Christmas - and we went with our buyers for a quick sale!  Hate estate agents and solicitors with a passion at the minute!
Hope you're having a better day!

Waltzing Mouse Christmas messages

Hi there folks, I'm currently running around like a headless chicken, so my apologies that I've been around even less than usual.  I've just about finished my Christmas cards now, and got a lot of shopping done over the weekend.
These are a few of my quick Christmas cards, made with some Waltzing Mouse stamps that fit these Nestie labels, and some Waltzing Mouses sentiments.
I made them in a few different colour ways and papers.
I am loving my Waltzing Mouse stamps and  dies more and more!

I've got some more Waltzing Mouse makes  to show you over the next few days!
I hope your Christmas preparations are going to schedule!

A Trio of Valeries from Mo Manning- warning - picture heavy!

I think these images - Valerie in Winter Trio - are going to be my new favourite stamps from Mo Manning - I just adore them, and when I couldn't decide which one to colour up first, I decided to colour all three and make three similar cards, whilst I had all the colours, papers out etc.
I think this one of Valerie hugging her frosty friend, is my most favourite of the three but only just!
The papers I've used are from a Tim Holtz 12x12 pad - I love the mix of designs on the papers - it meant I could make what actually turned out to be quite quick cards.  The sentiment on this card, is from Stampin Up.
I also love this one of Valerie with her puppy who has all but disappeared under the snow - just gorgeous!
The mittens are a Memory box die and the nordic print buttons are from Hobbycraft
The Let It Snow sentiment is from Waltzing Mouse.
Finally a picture ( a rubbish picture) showing the three together!
I think I've now made about 60 of my cards for this year - only another 25 to go!   I'm not ready!  Hope you're doing better than me!!

Waltzing Mouse Lanterns

I made these couple of cards a few weeks ago using some new Waltzing Mouse stamps - I love these lantern stamps with the candles and the halo of light stamp that goes with them!

I was also really pleased as WM now do a matching lantern die which arrived today, so I'm going to have another play with these soon!

Nearly the weekend everyone!

Basic Grey Sparkle and Glamour

Do you know I bought this stamp nearly two years ago, and found her the other day when looking  for a n image to use for our new challenge at Basic Grey Challenges!  Oops!  Shes's called the First Snow of Winter from Crafts and Me - I love her too- too many stamps, too little time! My papers are from the Basic Grey Wisteria 6x6 pad - love the rich shades of these papers.
She's perfect though for our Sparkle and Glamour theme though, don't you think!
The senitment above is from Waltzing Mouse and I've just shown a close up so that you can see the sparkle from the clear, sparkly embossing powder that  I used.
I've glittered the fur trim of her hood with white Glamour Dust, and embossed the  Marianne Snowflake and swirl with stardust.  I then edged the whole card with some diamante strips!  I was having palpitatons using so many on one card but I do like the effect!
As always, we have the awesome sponsorship of Simon Says Stamp with a fabulous $25 dollar voucher going to the lucky winner of our challenge.

You can check out the stunning makes of the rest of the BG DT here - do come and play along with us this fortnight!!

More quick Christmas Cards

I've been making a few more quick Crimbo cards, this time using the City Scape Dies from Memory Box.  You may also recall that I was looking for ages for a bag of Santa and Sleigh Die Cuts ( not this one which is a Cheery Lyn Die).  Well, I found them today, just when I'd finished making this little batch of cards!
I made masked off the moon, and then used my duster brushes to  colour the sky using  a selection of Distress Inks.  Although it is a little grainy, I quite like the effect as looks a little snowy!

I then added the Waltzing Mouse sentiment, and I was done.
