Birthday card for hubby.

Sharing a really quick card today that I made for Hubby's birthday earlier this week.  The image is Adventure Guy from Mo's Digital Pencil and was perfect for Nick as he is map reader and route master on our regular walks up here in Cumbria.  (I won't go into how we nearly went wrong the other week!) I also used an old map that shows where we live and used the ribbon as a path to home!
Here's a couple of pics of our most recent fell walk - up two Wainwrights with Emily when she was home - Whiteside and Hope Ghyll Head.

Just a little close up of Adventure guy studying his map intently!

Rainbows at Passion for Promarkers

I'm sharing a relatively simple card for me today - it's all about the image - Girl with Sign from Mo's Digital Pencil - and her sign is just perfect for showcasing your sentiment. Mine is one from Inkadinkadoo.  In case you hadn't guessed, the theme is Rainbows and my card is for our new challenge starting today at Passion for Promarkers.
My papers are from Bazzil Basics Vintage Market Place pad, and so pretty and textured.
Digistamp Boutique are sponsoring this week's challenge with a magnificent £10 voucher up for grabs!

I do hope you can find some time to join in our challenge.  Sadly, today I have to do my tax return!
Have a better day than me!

Mo's Sharing a Song

Sharing another Mo card today called Sharing a Song.  I coloured her up at the same time as my last card hence the similar colour palette.  However I used a different set of papers - these are from a fab Craftwork Cards Christmas set.  I've use a gorgeous Marianne Die set to frame the image finished off with gorgeous poinsettia also from Marianne, deets below:

Frame with Bird and Foliage Die set - CR1387
Poinsettia Die - LR0121

I've shown these before but I thought I'd share again about these little polystyrene balls (I also used them as they are in my previous card for snowballs).
The picture below shows them before, but then I heat them when they're on my card ......

......and they look like this which I think gives them a slightly  more natural/wild berry look.

My card didn't need much else as the background paper is so beautiful.
We've got our lovely Em up for a few days, it's so great having her home for a bit!

Snowballs anyone?

Hey folks - today's card is using one of my most favourite Mo images from the set Valerie in Winter - such a great value set - three images currently for $6.75, and one of my favourite sets for Christmas cards.
I came across the snowball sentiment recently whilst looking for something else and thought it would be great to use with this image - it's from a PTI set.  My papers are from some old Basic Grey sets and of course a full set of Marianne goodies used as below. The snowballs and heart are from stash.
Lace Frame Die set- CR1414
Circle Die Set  - CR1331
Star Die set (New!) - CR1421
Scarf Die - LR0439
Hat and Mittens Die Set  - LR0440
Winter Wonderland sentiment Die - CR1347
Knitting Embossing Folder/Die combo - DF3418

We've got Violet this afternoon for our usual Friday afternoon slot, so off to play and carry out Nanny duties.

Passion for Promarkers new challenge - Let it Shine

It's new challenge day today over at PFP and our theme of Let It Shine is just great to get you cracking on your Christmas cards!
I've used this stunning new image from Mo's Digital Pencil - one of the Ragged range - this is Ragged Winnie (and she comes in a pre-coloured version too - here).

The window frame die is one of my favourites and I don't use it nearly enough so I'm going to try and rectify that this Christmas!  I love the little lantern too from the new set of Christmas accents - it's got Holly, Mistletoe, Presents, lanterns - love it.  The only thing I don't like on my card is the positioning of the lantern!  I tried to put it in her hand but think I should have used the other hand - this looks like she's been speared in the head by it!!  Anyhoo, full list of Marianne Loveliness below.

Marianne Goodness

Old Press Papers - PK0120
Let It Snow Papers - PB7837
Window Frame with Snow Die - CR0286

Little Lantern Die from a great new set - COL1439
Candles Die - LR0243
Mistletoe Die - LR0189
Icicles Die - LR0135
Snow edge Die - LR0407

Oh and I must mention the snow edge die - it comes from a Lace Border set of two dies to give you a nice edge for your lace but I thought it looked perfect as a snowy border too!  Always good to repurpose your dies!
Our sponsors this week are the fabulous Dies to Die For with an amazing £15 voucher up for grabs!

Mo's Life is Like a Balloon

Ooh it's shocking that it's been nearly two weeks since I posted a card!  I have been busy crafting, honest, but nothing I can show yet.

Anyway, today's card uses Life is Like a Balloon from Mo's Digital Pencil and is for the new Mo challenge starting on Facebook  here this week.  All of us on the design team have used the same image so that we can showcase the versatility of the image.  And you can get 30% of the image to use in the challenge by using the code UPANDAWAY - you get two images and a sentiment too!
I've created a scene using both images and the sentiment, and lots of Marianne goodies.  I started with a sheet of paper from the Aquacolours paper pad, as I loved the way it gradually turned from green to blue to violet perfect as a backdrop to my scene.  And I just love the star embossing folder and die combo- going to be a firm favourite I think!  Full disclosure of Marianne stuff below!:

Aqua Colour Paper pad - PK9147
Celestial Stars Embossing Folder and die combo - DF3439
Mountain Die from - COL1417- Love this too!
Fence Die from - COL1383
Grass Die - LR0360
Fir Tree Line - LR0283
Balloons - COL1378/PP1401

You can see the fab embossing and die card star spangles below.
Another sideways view below- I love doggie's expression!

That's all today folks - I'll try not to leave it so long next time!
