PFP with handmade flowers

As I said in my blog candy post, which is hopefully sticking to the top of my posts, I've been using these stunning papers from the Papermania Rose set - they make my mouth water and so nearly didn't include them with my candy so I could keep a set just to stroke!!!  However, I resisted temptation (that's a rarity!) and they are part of the package.  I'm definitely in pretty mode at the moment and this is my card for the Passion for Promarker challenge, no 49, this week which is a sketch with the extra option of hand made flowers.

I made mine with my SU scalloped circle punch which I layered up and then spritzed with Irridescent Gold Glimmer Mist.  I've seen several tutorials for these round and about but couldn't find one to follow, so winged it a bit and added a pearl brad in the centre instead of more paper!!  I then used another SU flower punch for the leaf base.

And, I have to say, I rather like them!!  Image is coloured with the old faithful PMs, and I used Old Paper Distress ink on all my edging. The ribbon I bought years ago at a boot fair, ( lots of it!) when I wasn't making cards but knew it was a bargain and couldn't leave it behind!

It's been a miserable, cold day here, thank goodness for the Bank Holiday tomorrow - enjoy it and lets hope it's a nicer day.
