Oh deary me!!! The latest challenge over on Quixotic Paperie is to case the work or style of one of the DT members. I loved the idea of this, and being a huge fan of Elaine's style I thought I'd case the following card:
BIG MISTAKE!!! Next to Elaine's card my colouring looks messy, as does my stitching and well, it just looks like a cheap copy of a luxury handbag!! Elaine's signature element is the ribbon across the centre of the card with a fab bow which makes everything look so luxurious! Oh well, thought I'd put it up anyway - perhaps I can blame it on my photography!!!

Julie your card is just as gorgeous as Elaines! and Your colour choice is beautiful too. They are both great cards! Joey.xxx
gorgeous gorgeous image!! Love the colours and the polka dots!! Hugs Juls
You're way too hard on yourself, girlfriend! Elaine's card is a masterpiece - undoubtedly - but your card is (as the other commentators here suggest) equally lovely just a tad more cheeky! Elaine's red, white and blue colour scheme shouts patriotism and parade ground perfection well suited to the baton twirling image whereas your teal and purple is less conventional, superbly suited to your saucier image with the peacock feathers. Your less regimental stitching is just right for this sassy card whereas Elaine's is perfect for the military style. You see - you just need to have gone to "Understanding Creative Imagery 101" in order to understand the nuances of your stunning creation and I love it! Love Lesley
Dont be so hard on yourself! Love your take on it. A slight wobble in the stitching is THE LAW - so we can tell it's real!
