Home Tweet Home - Pink Petticoat
I love this image from Pink Petticoat . Matted and layered onto various papers from stash. I used Whisper pens to watercolour then added the ribbon threaded through Prima Flowers at the side. I do rather like this effect.
I also love the brown lace adhesive border at the bottom by Rico Designs.
Please let me know what you think!!
Thanks for looking

Tilda Challenge Card
I made this card for the weekly Tilda challenge over on DC. The brief was we had to use red and love in the theme and include some hearts! Coloured Tilda with watercolour pencils, and then matted and layered with paper from stash.
Used faux stitching/doodling round the edges and added some great coloured string from Ikea! Wasn't sure about the love stamp directly onto the card but did it and decided I liked it!
Finished off with a punched flower using the same papers, held with a brad and a rub-on heart, and some little white buttons in the other corner.
Vintage Fashion
I just love these vintage stamps! I used paper piecing for this one which always looks so effective I think! Made for one of my "M & S" friends who I used to work with, pre-children! Aahh, happy days working at Baker Street in their head office! Actually, I was probably wearing a very similar outfit all those years ago! (Well, almost!).

I Love You Blog award
Can't believe I have another!! This is from my Cyber Sis, Laura, (Faerielore). I can accept only if I name 6 other bloggers who I like to visit! Accepted with thanks and so hard to name only 6 as there are some amazing bloggers out there! These are they and I've chosen them because they were some of the first craft blogs that I looked at and inspired me to give blogging a try! Thank you for your inspiration ladies!!

Awards
Well, still not living up to my promise of keeping the cobwebs away am I! Especially as I've been honoured to receive the Wylde Women award from both Kathleen(Kookaburra crafts) and now Alex (Eisbaerin), pals from DC, to spur me on!
Its purpose is to send love to and acknowledge women who brighten your day, teach you new things and live their lives fully with generosity and joy - I'd award it back to Alex and Kathleen if they didn't have it already! Anyway, it does have rules attached which are:
1. You can give it to one or one hundred or any number in between
2.Make sure you link to their site
3. Link back to Tammy at http://www.tammyvitale.com/ so she can visit all these great women
4. Remember the purpose of the award

So, I'm going to award it to a couple of lovely ladies whom I have met through DC (again!) and who, like me are recent converts to blog land! They are both lovely, generous people and I'm glad to have got to know them:
Take a look at their blogs, they have some beautiful cards.

I'm having a Spring clean!!!
Haven't posted since I first started up the blog and so I'm sweeping away the cobwebs and starting up again!! Also inspired by the fact that 2 of my favourite card makers from DC have sent me an award!! ( The same one but I'm thrilled!) I just need to work out how to show it on here. Meanwhile I thought I'd show you a card for a challenge on DC. I set the theme this week - wanted it to be Shabby Chic/distressed and to use something not normally in your card stash! I used brown parcel paper, a couple of picture framing hinges and hooks and a gold disc that I have no idea what it is!! Felt that Edwin looked a little like a child being sent to the country during the war so added a little label round his neck as they used to do then! Images were from Eisbaerin ( Alex) - thanks!!!
