New Craft Space in progress! Warning - Picture Heavy post!

I am one very excited lady - as I'm getting the most amazing new craft room! These first ones are of my  current room which I was thrilled with when we moved  as it is twice the size of my teeny one in our old house.  However, it soon became clear that I was still very short of space and I had an overflow cupboard full of Christmas stuff, stuff to be upcycled or altered and just stuff!!

We have this most amazing space in the house, which had previously been a store/work room until hubby got a new shed.  He then thought he'd have the space as his Cinema room until we realised he couldn't have films on full blast in there, as it is directly below our holiday let.  So. lucky me, I get it as my new craft room. The pics below are prior to clearing it, having just had the ceiling plastered.
(The pink boots are hubbies, don't ask!)

The furniture below are bits and pieces that I've collected over the past few months, I just love the pigeon hole unit and cannot wait to fill it!!

The pics below show it all painted and the first coat of paint on the floor which the hubster finished tonight. One more coat in the morning then leave it to dry for 72 hours and then I have to decant everything from my old little room, position all the furniture, old and new and then I can fill up all that fabulous shelving!

That's all for now and I promise to share some photos once it's all finished! Luckily, Emily is visiting from London tomorrow for a few days, so I'll have a nice distraction why the floor properly dries!  I will probably also be out of action, card wise while I move into my new home!

Hugs, Juliexx

If I sent you an instagram right now you would see me as the wicked witch of the west, with a face so green you would think I had coated it with fluorescent paint .....................

It looks big enough to hold craft classes in. Smiing here I think you have more paper pads than I have, and half of the time I forget what I have and it's only when working on another project that I realise that I had the perfect paper for the last one.......... (Shhh don't tell anyone that it's because I have too many) I blame it on Alzheimer's :)
