My boy's birthday yesterday

It was my son's 24th birthday yesterday and this is the card I made for him.  Quite simple but thought he'd like the door - he loves Lord of the Rings and got that this was meant to be like a hobbit door - it's actually a Lavinia stamp.
The brick and woodgrains stamp are from Impression Obsession and the sentiment behind the door is Lili of the Valley.
The Ivy corner is a Joanna Sheen Signature die and the grass is Memory Box.
We had a lovely evening  with a Chinese takeaway and then watched a very scary film- spent half of it watching it through my fingers!
Nearly the weekend peeps!!

Another gorgeous Fairy from Mo Manning

Have you seen the new fairy images yet over at Mo's Digital Pencil?  This one is Tolo and I just love her toadstool cap and just look at her expression!
I coloured her with a mix of Promarkers and Shinhan Touch markers.  My papers are Basic Grey Plumeria, the tags are a mix of Lili of the Valley, Magnolia and Stampin Up.  The umbrella is a Memory Box die, the trees are Magnolia and the little mushrooms are a Cottage Cut Die.
Three weeks this Friday and I leave work - roll on!!
Have a great week everyone!!

Mo's Digital Pencil - Come and Hop with us!!

It's the third Thursday in the month people which means it's time for our monthly blog hop with Mo's Dream Team.  This month's theme has been chosen by our fabulous Heidy (and this is where you should have started from if you're hopping along) which is to merge two of Mo's Images together - I love doing this at the minute!
I've merged The Engineer and Stone Bridge to create my railway themed card.  I use Photoshop to merge my images and I flipped the bridge first so that it fitted with the direction in which the train was running!

I've coloured him with my Promarkers  and then added a few corner brick dies from Marianne dies and a few extra clouds from a Memory Box die. The sentiment die and stamp are a Stampin Up combo.

Your next stop on this month's hop is over to our lovely Debby's blog and I know she'll have something to wow you with!!  The full order of the hop is below and don't forget to leave a comment on each blog as there will be a couple of vouchers hidden somewhere to spend in Mo's Digital Pencil!

Happy Hopping!!

Mo's Digital Pencil Baby Fairy Purl

This  little lovely is the gorgeous Baby Fairy Purl from Mo's Digital Pencil and I just had to team her up with these knitting pattern papers that have been in my stash forever!
For the life of me I can't remember which company makes the circle, border and flower dies - they come as a set, and they're white, but who by?
The flourishes are cut with a Tim Holtz die and the ric-rac is from the Ribbon Girl.
No more cards from me today, phew!!
Hugs, Juliexx

Passion for Promarkers and my first Christmas card for 2014

Yay - I've started my Christmas cards for this year!  Normally start them about two months ago!  This is for our new challenge starting today over at a Passion for Promarkers with a great sketch from our fabulous Lou!.  We're being sponsored by the Digi Stamp Boutique and were lucky enough to be given some images to use and I've used this set called Cute Robin Chicklets which you can find here in the DSB store.

As you can see, I've rotated the sketch so that I could get my cute little chicks all in a row.
The trees are cut with a Tim Holtz Pine die and the  icicle circle is a Memory Box die!  The sentiment comes with the Robin set!! Finally, the papers are from Craftwork Cards.
Hope you will come and play along with us this week at a Passion for Promarkers - can't wait to see your take on the sketch!

Sketch N Stash

I'm  a bit late with posting today's card but it's for our new challenge starting today over at Sketch N Stash.

I got some of my Tim Holtz dies to make this card including the clock  dies and the cogs die.  I cut the face of the main clock from the pocket watch stamp and then glossy accented it to give the glass effect - must admit I was pleased with the result below.
I then used some Treasure Gold wax for the aged effect. The time sentiment is from a magazine freebieand the Happy Day stamp and punch are from Stampin Up.
Not sure why my watermark is so big here - must have done something different but what I'm not sure!
Our sponsor details for this fortnight's challenge are below - hope you will come and play along with us!  And if you'd like some inspiration, check out the fab makes of my SNS teamies here!

A just because LOTV

Hi - I was admiring all the fab new LOTV images and realised that I hadn't played with some of the ones I already have!  This was one one of my favourites from a recent release - there's just something so magical about dandelions that have turned into seed heads - there must be a proper name for them I'm sure!!
Not too happy with my colouring but I do like the soft colour tones of these papers (and I can't remember where they're from!). I'm also loving these new curved border dies from Spellbinders!

The sentiment is from Stampin Up and the butterflies are cut with a Martha Stewart punch.
Thanks for popping by.
Much love

Mo Manning's Cody's Balloon

Love this little cutie - Cody's Balloon from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I coloured him with my Promarkers and teamed him up with some papers from a  Kraft set of papers by My Mind's Eye.
The tree frame is a Memory Box die and the heart balloons are a  Marianne Die, while the little scrabble letters are from a Sizzix set.
Thanks for looking,

Hello - we're back from our month long challenge over at Sketch N Stash - hope you missed us!!
Good to be back and with the fab sketch below!

We also have the awesome A Day for Daisies sponsoring us and I've chosen the beauteous Bewildered B for my card which you can find here in the ADFD store.
My papers are by Teresa Collins from the Stationery pad, love them and don't know how I managed to actually use them!!
The ribbon was from stash and the sentiment , I think is Paper Trey Ink, although as I made this card a while ago  I can't quite remember!!
Don't forget to take a peek at the gorgeous makes by the rest of my SNS teamies here, and hope you can find some time to play along with us over the next fortnight!!
