Yes, so sad to say that this is the last challenge at Colour Create, boo hoo!! It's been such a fab team to be part of, but all good things must come to an end. Before we go though, we have one more colour challenge for you with this inspiration picture chosen by our fabby Edna. Your colours are
Green, Brown, White and a touch of purple with a metal embellishment as an optional extra.
I am so in love with this A Day for Daisies digital image which is from the Birds in My Hair collection. Do you know, I think I'm going down the digital route more and more lately, as you can size them to suit, they take up less storage and of course, they're less of a strain on your purse!!
Recently, I've felt that my cards have not been quite up to scratch, for some reason, but this is one that I'm actually very pleased with. I love the colours, as chosen by our Edna and the rest just seemed to fall into place. My papers are DCWV Latte and Deja Vues. The corner flourish is a Marianne die, the little crystal drop is from Prima and the roses are from the Hobby House. And fittingly, the butterfly, which of course is my metal embellishment, is a hair clip, and was from my Secret Santa which we did at Christmas on the Colour Create team!! ( I think it winged it's way from down under too!!) Love it.
I'm entering my card into the current A Day for Daisies challenge which is to use Calico or small print papers, well I'm not sure if my papers will qualify as the flowers may not be teeny enough, but going to try!
You can check out the fabulous final cards from the Colour Create team here - it's been a real pleasure being part of the team,, thank you so much for having me on this fabby team!! Hope you'll join us on this final challenge!
